Abstract

Based on the basic laws of non-Darcy seepage in low permeability media as well as dynamic permeability, a dynamic function of permeability is derived. On this basis, factoring in the effect of the non-linearity and the starting pressure gradient, a piecewise numerical simulation model was established for low permeability reservoirs and through discretization, a numerical model was obtained. According to the results of the simulation test, this model and method reflect well the seepage in low permeability reservoirs, expressing more objectively the influence of the starting pressure gradient and the non-linearity.
