Abstract: Studied the relationship between intelligence test performance and 3 visual inspection time measures including classical line inspection time, digital inspection time and component of Chinese character inspection time. 84 children, including 7 year olds, 9 year olds and 11 year olds, attended the test for 3 kinds of inspection time, all subjects also completed the Cattell's culture free test. Results indicated that inspection time in various tasks all showed trends of decreasing with increasing of ages. However, there were different speed of processing and change of development in the different tasks: the digital inspection time was longest in all tasks and the component of Chinese character inspection time was the shortest. From 7 year olds to 11 year olds, the line inspection time decreased slowly, while digital inspection time decreased quickly. No differences had been found between the sexes in different inspection time tasks. Experiments had showed that although inspection time of children is moderately correlated with intelligence test scores, the strength of the correlation between inspection time of children and intelligence test scores is attenuated relatively after controlling age factor. Correlation between inspection time of children and intelligence test scores is influenced by different inspection time tasks: digital inspection time task is sensitive to age variance, while line inspection time task is sensitive to within-group variance. Experiments also displayed correlation between faster inspection time groups, slower inspection time groups and intelligence test scores. Results showed that slower inspection time of children was significantly correlated with intelligence test scores, while faster inspection time of children and intelligence test scores were unrelated after controlling age factor.This finding suggested that worst performance (i.e., slower inspection time ) was a better predictor of IQ than best performance ( i.e. , faster inspection time).

Abstract: There is now a new tendency in the field of intelligence, researchers attempt to discover the correlation between psychometric intelligence to a cognitive or psychophysical variable, and employ cognitive and biological approaches in the same studies. This research emphasis is mental speed, which is indexed by inspection time (IT), reaction time, ERP or nerve conduction velocity. Many studies suggest that, in IT task, the patterns of amplitude and latency period of ERP are different between higher IQ and lower IQ participants. Many findings demonstrate that both information processing speed and nerve conduction velocity have a higher correlation with intelligence g factor, and that the cross-disciplinary studies on the relationship between intelligence and mental speed have become an important approach.
Implementation of Intelligent Inspection System for Substation AC Circuit

Traditional communication circuit has some shortcomings, such as using original dry battery and local inspection method; this leads to lack of integrity and systematic. To the traditional AC circuit test system, this paper researches substation structure, key components, substation communica-tion loop system supporting software and solutions. Based on analysis of the clock synchronization module, data communication module, data analysis module of the system, we describe and il-lustrate the specific logical structure and scheme of the system. In addition, substation communi-cation circuit equipment interconnection process and composition diagram are described and il-lustrated. Finally, we realize AC circuit intelligent inspection system and this system has reliability, security and maintainability.

Abstract: Inspection time (IT) is an important index of human information processing, and IT has been shown to correlate reliably with general intelligence. A common interpretation of this pattern has been that IT provides an index of a cognitive or biological substrate underpinning individual difference in IQ. The article first introduced the correlative studies between IT and IQ, discussed different theoretical explanation on the nature of correlation between IT and IQ, and then summarized the studies of the nature of correlation nature between IT and IQ from the viewpoint of biology and development. Some problems pertaining studies in this field are highlighted, and new orientation is discussed in the article.
Review on the Study of Heavy Metal Test in Tobacco and Tobacco Products

Abstract: Two typical visual inspection time tasks, line inspection time and digital inspection time, were employed in the present experiment. 172 children aged from 8- to 12-years-old (83 intellectual supernormal and 89 normal) were tested individually with the two IT tasks on computer. Meanwhile, in order to get their IQ scores, all subjects were asked to complete Cattell's cultur efair test. The schooling effect on speed of information processing was explored in the present study too. The results indicated that the inspection time of supernormal and normal children decreased gradually as their ages increased, but the developmental speeds or developmental curves were different on different inspection time tasks. There were no significant gender differences in the two tasks and three types of ages. Moreover, the inspection time of supernormal children was significantly faster than the normal children on the tasks in different ages. The correlation coefficients between inspection time and IQ scores in both supernormal and normal children were significant. And no schooling effects on children's speed of information processing (IT) were found. Comparing the developmental speed of the inspection time of the two samples, suggested that the knowledge and experience from schools have no effects on the development of children's inspection time. And the correlations between inspection time and IQ scores of both groups are significant.
Throughput Optimization of Cognitive Radio Based on Sequential Detection

Abstract: I}he throughput optimization of cognitive radio based on sequential detection was studied. The form of sequential detection in cognitive radio was given, then the mathematical model of throughput was established with the constraint that the primary users arc sufficiently protected. Furthermore, it is proved that there is a unique optimal paramcter setting which achieves the maximal throughput by optimization theory. At last, a searching method was given to oblain the optimal parameter setting.
Optimization of Cooperative Spectrum Sensing Mechanisms in Cognitive Radio Networks

Abstract: In this paper, the optimization of cooperative spectrum sensing mechanisms in cognitive radio networks is investigated to improve the sensing efficiency and spectrum utilization. The optimization algorithms and strategies of detection period, detection time and searching time are proposed respectively for channel monitoring and channel searching scenarios. Analysis and simulations show that exploitation of cooperative sensing and proactive sensing can improve the sensing performance and transmitting rate. The proposed sensing mechanisms can increase the system throughput, reduce the sensing latency, and thus enhance the sensing efficacy and agility significantly under the interference constrains of primary signal.
How to choose proper parameter values for poker test

Abstract: Poker test is one of the basic statistical tests for judging whether or not a binary sequence is random. It belongs to the kinds of statistical tests that need extra parameter values as input. In this paper, how to determine the proper parameter values for poker test is explored and through a large number of experiments, we find some parameter values seem to be able to act as the representative ones.
