Ecological Design or Some Aspects to the Reconstruction of a Mediaeval Rotunda

Abstract: The architecture of our ancestors (mediaeval architectural design, folkarchitecture) can serve as a model for recent ecological architecture (concern choice ofmaterial or construction). This work is dealing with a special kind of mediaeval buildingsuch as with rotunda. Here, we deal with the practicality of the mediaeval design and withconstructional questions of the rotunda. There is shown, how a rotunda can bereconstructed from its recently exposed fundament.

Since late 1990s, China has made smooth progress in ecological conservation and construction. Now, the following characteristics of ecological protection are presented: 1) China is still facing severe challenges in ecological conservation and construction; 2) The advanced areas with extensive growth model and the underdeveloped areas that are ecologically sensitive co-exist in China; and 3) As a country in transition, China needs to explore national pathway for ecological protection, while facing the trends of being institutionalized, integrated and necessitated for the global ecological protection efforts. The key of ecological protection in China is to seek an optimal model and an effective pathway which can balance economic growth and environmental protection, to recognize the difference and non-replicability of ecosystems, and to effectively combine the institutional development and engineering construction of ecological protection.

Abstract: This paper concisely introduced the eco-environmental survey in China and the Chinese scientific programme for environmental research which is being practiced or being planned. China has established a nation-wide system relating to environmental scientific research and environmental administration and has taken the following strategies for solving the environment problems: (1) a series of laws and regulations for environmental protection has been promulgated so as to strengthen the legal administration and economic punishment. (2) the idea of ecological construction has been proposed for the purpose of taking the environmental protection work into the consideration of the national and provincial (or regional) economic construction planning. (3) spreading ecological engineering and ecological technologies have reduced the pollutant sources and have increased the industrial and agricultural economic profit.
Preliminary Exploration on the Construction of Water Ecological Civilization in Nanchang

Accelerating the construction of water ecological civilization city is an important task to promote the new development of the livelihood water conservancy and an important practice to promote the human- water harmony and speed up the construction of ecological civilization. Besides it has an important role in promoting the social development. The study analyzes the problems on the construction of water eco-logical civilization in Nanchang, discusses the feasibility and urgency of the construction, and puts forward the concrete scheme on the construction of water ecological civilization. The study can provide some reference for the construction of water ecological civilization in Nanchang.

Abstract: The preservation and sustainable development of soil and water resources is one of the basic principles for the development of China. Throughout the course of history, all the social improvement and economic development are deeply concerned with soil loss and ecological environmental protection. It is now a common sense that soil and water conservation is the safety insurance for national ecology and its development. For the past long period of time, soil and water loss has been recognized as "the No.1 killer" to the ecological environment. The nation is on the stage of the critical conditions for its development. China has massive mountain and upland area with complicated geological conditions and accelerated human destruction and serious soil and water loss. Based on rich historical documents, renovating experience and detailed analysis of the data collected in field experiments and field surveys for soil and water conservation, this paper aims to review the general characteristics of soil and water loss, to explore the relationship between soil and water conservation and sustainable economic development, and to provide relevant strategies for soil and water conservation in China.

In order to convey the spirit of the 18th National Congress, Caidian District proposed the regional development strategy of constructing the state-level ecological area. This article gives a brief SWOT analysis based on the current situation of Caidian. It illustrates the strengths and the weakness of the ecological development construction in Caidian. The impartial judgments of the opportunities and threats of Caidian will give an objective suggestion to the decision-making of Caidian ecological construction.

There are a series of lake problems in China, such as decline in the number of lakes, reduction of lake area, water pollution and eutrophication in lakes, disconnection between lakes and rivers and reduction in the lake storage capacity, which cause a number of environmental problems and bring many serious concerns on the lake’s existence, lake ecosystem security as well as the sustainable development of economic society. These problems are resulted mainly from the lack of management system and mechanism. The protection of the lake must rely on the system; the con-struction of ecological civilization system is the fundamental guarantee for the protection of the lake. As the main content of the construction of ecological civilization system, the establishment of the lake management system is the main content of the construction of ecological civilization system in the country. For this purpose, the main problems of Lake Management in our country, according to the eighteen and third Plenary Session of the Third Plenary Session of the construction of ecological civilization system requirements, put forward a new type of lake management system mechanism, in view of the fact that there is no specific content of lake ecological civilization system, so this paper also enrich the ecological civilization system construction.

GIS Based Construction Land Layout in Ecological Area

Abstract: This paper explores the rational construction land layout in Qi river ecological area of Hebi city so as to provide references for the construction land layout in other similar domestic area. We take the geographical information system software (ARCGIS) and statistical software (SPSS) as technical support. We adopt qualitative analysis with quantitative calculation, data analysis with graphical analysis as research methods. The paper evaluates the suitability and the ecological sensitivity of the construction land in Qi River ecological area, then overlays the evaluation results by ARCGIS software, finally gets the layout of construction land in the ecological area.Conclusions are that: Rational layout of construction land in ecological relates area not only to the suitability evaluation but also to the sensitivity evaluation;there are strong correlations among ecological sensitivity and water system, land cover type, elevation, special value.

Abstract: 摘 要: 构建和实施生态文明建设考核机制是转变政府执政理念,推进经济、政治、社会、文化、生态“五位一体”发展,落实生态文明建设任务的重要保证。现行以GDP为核心的政绩考核体系忽视了不同地区的发展基础、发展条件,难以反映经济发展的资源环境成本和区域特征。针对这一现实问题,构建以主体功能区为依据的生态文明建设分类考核指标体系和流程,从生态环境、生态经济、生态社会、生态政治和生态文化五个方面建立了三级考核指标体系,并设计了生态文明建设考核流程,最后,提出了保障生态文明建设分类考核办法健康运行的政策建议。
Abstract: Building and implementing the assessment system of ecological civilization construction is the important guarantee to transform the ruling idea of the government, to promote the integration of the economic, political, social, cultural, and ecological development and to implement the task of ecological civilization construction. The current assessment system ignored the development conditions and foundations in different areas, hence rendering it difficult to reflect the economic development of the resources and environment cost and regional characteristics. In view of this problem, the present essay attempts to construct the evaluation system of ecological civilization, to establish a three-level indicator mechanism in such five aspects as ecological environment, ecological economy, ecological society, ecological political and ecological culture, to design the assessment process, and finally to put forward the policy recommendations about implementation of assessment measures
