Abstract: The application of artificial neutral network to data processing of multi spectral radiation thermometry was presented. By taking advantages of neutral network and various emissivity samples, the emissivity models of the targets were identified and the true temperature and spectral emissivity were available simultaneously. The measurement accuracy was improved further by subdivision. The effects of measurement errors on the measurement accuracy of temperature and emissivity were also analyzed. Computer simulation results proved that the method is an effective way for both temperature and emissivity measurements.

Abstract: Some methods for evaluating the radiation characteristics of infrared standard radiation sources with specularly reflecting surfaces are presented in this paper. The Monte-Carlo method is stressed and the calculated results and relevant important conclusions for these blackbody cavities by using this method are also summarized.

Abstract: 基于傅里叶红外光谱仪成功研制了固体材料光谱发射率测量装置,它由一个试样加热炉、一个参考黑体炉、水浴环境腔体及真空系统等组成,可以实现100-1500℃及光谱0.66-25μm范围内固体材料光谱发射率测量.参考黑体用于对系统的标定,水浴环境腔体和真空系统用来消除环境和大气的影响.装置调试后对某种航天用材料做了测试实验,得到了很有规律的结果.估计了系统的不确定度:发射率不确定度小于2.27%(3δ,ε=0.9),6.80%(3δ,ε=0.3).

Abstract: A new type of multi-point multi-wavelength pyrometer for solid propellant rocket engine flame distribution measurement was developed successfully. The instrument can record the radiation fluxes of 8 wavelengths for uniformly distributed 6 points on the target surface, which are well defined by the holes on the field stop lens. The fast-response pyrometer with the specially designed synchronous data acquisition system can assure that the recorded thermal radiation fluxes of different spectrum region are of the same time and the same true temperature even with dramatically changed targets.

Abstract: The scope of this paper addresses the problem of detecting a dim moving target from a sequence of multispectral IR cubes. In this work, the detection problem is formulated in a general framework, assuming unknown target amplitude, position and velocity. This composite hypothesis testing problem is approached by means of the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) theory. The detector structure and its actual implementation based on velocity filters are discussed in detail. Approximated expressions of the false alarm and detection probabilities are obtained and validated by means of simulation. To test the effectiveness of the detection algorithm, the detection results obtained on a set of synthetic multispectral IR image sequences are presented and discussed, and these results indicate that the algorithm proposed in this paper can obtain a good performance on dim target detection with low SNR.

Abstract: A brand-new kind of mid-infrared multi-waveleng th radiation thermometer for the measurement of true temperature and emissivity near room temperature with high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) was presented. By ap plying blazed grating and refractive-reflected optical system with high image q u ality and throughput, the temperature and emissivity were available simultaneous ly by the MCT semiconductor sensor array and electric system. Inner blackbody so urce was installed to compensate the surrounding temperature drift, and the temp erature of field stop and aperture stop was controlled by a heat pipe to reduce th e influence of stray radiation on temperature measurement. The main structures o f optical and electric systems were described in detail.
