A Comparison Between Chinese and Japanese Expressions of Politeness

Abstract: This paper attempts to compare Chinese and Japanese expressions of politeness as manifested in (1) Greetings and farewells; (2) Gratitude and apologies; (3) Forms of address. It concludes that, despite their shared origin, Chinese and Japanese differ greatly in expressions of politeness. Failure to understand the differences will lead to pragmatic misuse in communication.

Abstract: 本文应用一个球面和σ坐标原始方程线性定常模式,模拟夏季青藏高原的动力和热力强迫作用下的定常扰动.计算得到的定常扰动,在对流层上层槽脊分布和实况基本相符,但南亚高压的位置稍偏东,中太平洋高空槽较弱.在对流层中层计算的扰动振幅较实况强,特别是西太平洋副高.对偏差的可能原因进行了讨论.文中比较了不同基本气流、热源的垂直分布和热力耗散的影响,结果表明不同的热源垂直分布可以影响定常扰动的位相分布;还指出线性模式中,随高度增强的热力耗散机制对解释定常扰动的位相和结构可能是重要的.

Abstract: 模拟分析粗差对CHAMP卫星重力场恢复结果的影响:即使观测值中仅存在1个大的粗差,由最小二乘(LS)估计得到的CHAMP重力场模型精度整体上也有所降低,而由此计算的大地水准高在粗差存在的前后区域都将出现较大偏差。对此,将抗差估计引入CHAMP重力场恢复中,给出了抗差解及其误差影响函数。基于德国GFZ数据中心提供的1个月CHAMP卫星RSO轨道和加速度计数据,并随机加入20个模拟的、(5~100)m2s-2大小的异常误差,分别利用LS和抗差估计解算出60×60阶地球重力场模型,并与EIGEN-CG03C、EIGEN2等模型进行比较。结果表明:抗差解能有效控制异常误差影响,得到的CHAMP重力场模型精度明显优于LS解模型,且优于同阶次的EGM96、EIGEN1S和EIGEN2模型。
Experimentally Study on Erbium-doped-fiber Nonlinear Couplers

Abstract: An erbium-doped fiber nonlinear coupler(EDFNC) ,in which the coupling parameters could be controlled by the light were firstly proposed. By using the fusing-elongation machine to fusing together two Er 3 -doped fibers,a 3 dB nonlinear coupler was fabricated for the signal light at 1550 nm. When changing the pump light at 980nm launched into one arm of the coupler,the propagation-constant difference between two arms of the coupler would be changed,and then the relative output powers of signal light from two arms would also be changed. Measuring the input pump power and two output signal powers of EDFNC,it obtained the experimental curve of the bar coupling ratio versus the pump power. The experiments showed that when increasing pump power from 0 mW to 20 mW,the variation of coupling ratios could reach to 40%. The theory simulation and the experiment results were well consistent.

Abstract: 用磁控溅射工艺分别在Si和Al2O3衬底上沉积两种不同织构组分的多晶柱状Cu膜,基于动力学标度方法表征两种薄膜的表面粗化特征.结果表明,Cu(111)取向晶粒组分多的薄膜的生长指数较大、表面粗化速率较快.对于较低温度下沉积的多晶柱状薄膜,基于其晶粒几何形态和弱化的晶界限制的特点,提出了一种表面粗化机制,认为薄膜的表面粗化主要依赖于其晶粒表面的粗化过程,而薄膜织构决定了薄膜表面粗化速率.

Abstract: Constant loading rate/load creep experiments were conducted on polycrystalline Al thin films using nanoindentation instrument. The results indicated that the loading mode has an obvious effect on the creep properties. With increasing loading rate/load, total creep and stress exponent of the film were increased. The high creep rate in an initial loading stage was considered the result of the release of plastic deformation, which should have taken place in the loading of previous segment. It follows that the change of total creep and stress exponent of tested films depends sometimes on the amount of plastic deformation under different loading conditions.

Abstract: The effects of grain size and holding load on creep properties of polycrystalline Cu thin films were investigated using nanoindentation instrument. The results show that when grain size of polycrystalline Cu thin films is between 200 nm to 1500 nm, the stress exponent is insensitive to grain size. However, when the grain size is reduced below 200 nm, the stress exponents increases with decreasing grain size, implying that there is a critical grain size for stress exponents in nanoindentation tests. The stress exponent also increases with the increase of holding load. The above phenomena result from more grains to be involved and the creep rate decrease due to dislocation strengthening the plastic zone under the indenter tip.
