Abstract: In this Paper,interaction coefficients among Al,Ti and C in Al-Ti-C ternary system and actual free energy of Al_3Ti,TiC and Al_4C_3,were calcutated via ternary alloy thermodynamic theory.The rsults show that,at low temperatures,Al_3Ti forms through the reaction of aluminium with titanium,and at high temperatures,the TiC forms hy the reaction of carbon with Al_3Ti.The reaction mechanism was verified by the experimental results.
Magneto-Electric Effect for Multiferroic Thin Film by Monte Carlo Simulation

Abstract: Magneto-electric effect in a multiferroic heterostructure film, i.e. a coupled ferromagnetic-ferroelectric thin film, has been investigated through the use of the Metropolis algorithm in Monte Carlo simulations. A classical Heisenberg model describes the energy stored in the ferromagnetic film, and we use a pseudo-spin model with a transverse Ising Hamiltonian to characterise the energy of electric dipoles in the ferroelectric film. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the dynamic response of polarisation is driven by an external magnetic field, when there is a linear magneto-electric coupling at the interface between the ferromagnetic and ferroelectric components.
Pseudo-Spin Based Dynamical Model for Polarisation Switching in Ferroelectrics

Abstract: A microscopic view of the response of the electric dipoles to a dynamic external field in a ferroelectric (FE) chain has been studied by two spin dynamics methods. One is the prominent micromagnetic approach, and the other is the micromagnetic approach with a variable size of the pseudo-spin. The energy stored in the ferroelectric chain is described by the transverse Ising model (TIM) with electric pseudo-spins. The simulations are based on a modified Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation which is precession free. The results obtained are shown and compared with the result supplemented by Landau-Devonshire (L-D) theory in the Appendix.

Abstract: Composite multiferroics, a heterostructure in ferromagnetic (FM) and ferroelectric (FE) orders, is characterized remarkable magneto-electric effect at the interface. In the numerical modelling, we support the ferromagnetic structure with magnetic spins and the ferroelectric with pseudospins which act as electric dipoles in a microscopic model, coupled with a magneto-electric interaction. By solve the stochastic Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation, the electric-field-induced magnetization switching in a twisted boundary condition has been studied, and a behavior of domain wall in the ferromagnetic structure is discussed.
Spin Dynamics Simulation of the Magneto-Electric Effect in a Composite Multiferroic Chain

Abstract: A composite multiferroic chain with an interfacial linear magneto-electric coupling is used to study the magnetic and electric responses to an external magnetic or electric field. The simulation uses continuous spin dynamics through the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equations of the magnetic spin and the electric pseudo-spin. The results demonstrate an accurate description of the distribution of the magnetisation and polarisation are induced by applied electric and magnetic field, respectively.

Abstract: At present, CuInSe2 (referred to as CIS) semiconductor has become one of the hot points in solar cell field at home and abroad for its excellent performances, such as direct bandgap, high light absorption coefficient, high photoelectric conversion efficiency and long-term stability. In this paper, the CIS bulk materials are prepared by the horizontal Bridgman method with double-heat sources, the crystal structure, microstructure morphology and composition of the samples are analyzed in X-ray diffraction instrument (XRD) and scanning electronic microscope (SEM) with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrum (EDX), and surface electrical state and electrical properties of the samples are characterized in X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and four point resistivity test system. The results show that the CIS crystal was grown, and that the conductive performance of the samples is good which display the characteristics of p-type semiconductor. Furthermore, a thin film CIS sample was obtained by argon ion-beam scanning bombardment, and it has high solar energy absorptivity and the bandgap of 0.99 eV analyzed in Ultraviolet-visible Spectrum that is suitable for solar cell. Analysis of precipitation in a Cu-Cr-Zr alloy

Abstract: Precipites in Cu-0.42%Cr-0.21%Zr alloy were analyzed by using scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). After the solid solution was performed at 980 ℃ for 2 h, water-quenched and aged at 450 ℃ for 20 h, the precipite had a bimodal distribution of precipitate size. The coarse precipitates are pure Cr and Cu5Zr, the dispersed fine precipitate is CrCu2(Zr,Mg) and pure Cr ranging from 1 to 50 nm. The coarse phases formed during solidifi cation and were left undissolved during solid solution. The fi ne precipitates are the hardening precipitates that form due to decomposition of the supersaturated solid solution during aging.
Recent Advances on Filtering and Control for Nonlinear Stochastic Complex Systems with Incomplete Information: A Survey

Abstract: Some recent advances on the filtering and control problems for nonlinear stochastic complex systems with incomplete information are surveyed. The incomplete information under consideration mainly includes missing measurements, randomly varying sensor delays, signal quantization, sensor saturations, and signal sampling. With such incomplete information, the developments on various filtering and control issues are reviewed in great detail. In particular, the addressed nonlinear stochastic complex systems are so comprehensive that they include conventional nonlinear stochastic systems, different kinds of complex networks, and a large class of sensor networks. The corresponding filtering and control technologies for such nonlinear stochastic complex systems are then discussed. Subsequently, some latest results on the filtering and control problems for the complex systems with incomplete information are given. Finally, conclusions are drawn and several possible future research directions are pointed out.
Robust Constrained Variance Control for Linear Discrete Systems With Structured Parameter Perturbations

Abstract: In this paper the problem of designing a class of performance robust controllers is considered. The purpose of the addressed problem is to design feedback controllers, or the linear discrete stochastic systems with structured parameter perturbations, such that the closed-loop system is stable and the steady-state variance of each state is not greater than the prespecified upper bound, simultaneously. Based on a modified algebraic Riccati equation, this paper provides the conditions for the existence of the previous performance robust controllers. The explicit expression of the controller is also presented. A numerical example illustrates the simplicity and directness of the present design method.
