Influence of the Level of Financial Development on OFDI in China  [PDF]

Abstract: Outward Foreign Direct Investment (OFDI) is influenced by many factors. In these factors, the impact of the financial development of the investing country is very important and obvious. An important support for an enterprise to make OFDI is to get a sufficient source of funding, and the source of funding depends on the degree of development of domestic financial market. From the early research, we can find that OFDI in developing countries, at least to some extent, is the result of economic structural improvements and financial innovations. Taking China as an example, this paper studies the role of developing countries in the level of financial development in OFDI. By using the panel data of 30 provinces and autonomous regions in China during the five-year period from 2010 to 2014, we want to examine the development of financial markets in various regions impact on China’s outward foreign direct investment.
D-S Theory Based on an Improved PSO for Data Fusion

Abstract: The Dempster-Shafer (D-S) theory is an excellent method of information fusion. Because of the difference which is caused by the sensors, it is essential to deal with the evidence with a method of weighed D-S theory. The new method to deal with data fusion based on improved D-S theory has been proposed, and set up the concept of weight of sensor evidence itself and evidence distance based on a quantification of the similarity between sets to acquire the reliability weight of the relationship between evidences. Considering the disadvantages of the improved D-S theory, a best method of obtaining evidence weight value is presented by an improved particle swarm optimization (PSO). Compared with the compared methods, this evidence theory proves more effective and advanced by making simulation test.

Abstract: A novel flash memory cell with stacked structure (Si substrate/SiGe quantum dots/tunneling oxide/poly-Si floating gate) is proposed and demonstrated to achieve enhanced F-N tunneling for both programming and erasing.Simulation results indicate the new structure provides high speed and reliability.Experimental results show that the operation voltage can be as much as 4V less than that of conventional full F-N tunneling NAND memory cells.Memory cells with the proposed structure can achieve higher speed,lower voltage,and higher reliability.

Abstract: 研究了添加氧化镁强化后浓海水对低浓度二氧化硫的吸收效果。利用鼓泡吸收装置考察了不同氧化镁投加量、气体流速和吸收液温度对二氧化硫吸收效果的影响。结果表明,氧化镁可以极大地提高吸收液的脱硫效率。在室温,氧化镁投加量为0.5 g/L时,吸收体系对二氧化硫的吸收效果最好,吸收容量达到1 901.38 mg/L,是普通海水脱硫和未加添加剂的3~6倍。

Abstract: A noval adsorbent from straw pulp black liquor and magnesia chloride was made by physical activation. The results show that the BET surface and total pore volume reach 388.96 m2/g and 0.40 mL/g respectively. The effects of adsorption time, pH, adsorbent dosage and initial concentration were investigated. The best absorption effect was acquired at pH value 2, adsorbent dosage 2 g/L, adsorption time 120 min. The adsorption of Cr(VI) follows Freundlich isotherm.
Comparison of Dietary Control and Atorvastatin on High Fat Diet Induced Hepatic Steatosis and Hyperlipidemia in Rats

Abstract: We employed a rat model of NAFLD to examine the therapeutic efficacy of dietary control and/or ATO treatment. Sprague-Dawley rats were fed with normal chow diet as normal controls or with high fat diet (HFD) for 12 weeks to establish NAFLD. The NAFLD rats were randomized and continually fed with HFD, with normal chow diet, with HFD and treated with 30 mg/kg of ATO or with normal chow diet and treated with the same dose of ATO for 8 weeks. Subsequently, the rats were sacrificed and the serum lipids, aminotranferase, hepatic lipids, and liver pathology were characterized. The relative levels of fatty acid synthesis and β-oxidation gene expression in hepatic tissues were measured by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Hepatic expression of hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase was determined by Western blot assay.While continual feeding with HFD deteriorated NAFLD and hyperlipidemia, treatment with dietary control, ATO or ATO with dietary control effectively improved serum and liver lipid metabolism and liver function. In comparison with ATO treatment, dietary control or combined with ATO treatment significantly reduced the liver weight and attenuated the HFD-induced hyperlipidemia and liver steatosis in rats. Compared to ATO treatment or dietary control, combination of ATO and dietary control significantly reduced the levels of serum total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C). However, the combination therapy did not significantly improve triglyceride and free fatty acid metabolism, hepatic steatosis, and liver function, as compared with dietary control alone.ATO treatment effectively improved NAFLD-related hyperlipidemia and inhibited liver steatosis, accompanied by modulating the expression of genes for regulating lipid metabolism. ATO enhanced the effect of dietary control on reducing the levels of serum total cholesterol and LDL-C, but not triglyceride, free fatty acid and hepatic steatosis in HFD-in

Abstract: An ultrahigh vacuum chemical vapor deposition (UHV/CVD) system is developed and the details of its construction and operation are reported. Using high purity SiH4 and GeH4 reactant gases, the Si0.82Ge0.18 layer is deposited at 550 degrees C. With the measurements by double crystal X-ray diffraction (DCXRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy (RBS) techniques, it is shown that the crystalline quality of the SiGe layer is good, and the underlying SiGe/Si heterointerface is sharply defined.

Abstract: Despite the advancements made in drug delivery systems over the years, many challenges remain in drug delivery systems for treating chronic diseases at the personalized medicine level. The current urgent need is to develop novel strategies for targeted therapy of chronic diseases. Due to their unique properties, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology has been recently engineered as implantable drug delivery systems for disease therapy. This review examines the challenges faced in implementing implantable MEMS drug delivery systems in vivo and the solutions available to overcome these challenges.

Abstract: 本文通过PEST分析法对学术期刊数字出版平台发展的宏观环境进行了分析,在此基础上提出了学术期刊数字出版平台发展的机遇和挑战。并通过波特五力方法对我国学术期刊数字出版平台的战略进行了分析,在分析的基础上提出了我国学术期刊数字出版平台战略发展的三种模式。最后提出了我国学术期刊数字出版平台建设的两种模式,并对学术期刊数字出版平台的建设提出了建议。
