Abstract: The focal and diffuse cerebral white matter injury can be caused by treatment with radiation therapy for cranial tumors. However, the literature rarely describes a MRI finding in radiation-induced delayed extensive cerebral injury. Our objective was to report a rare case who had a delayed extensive hyperintensity injury in brain on MRI after radiation therapy due to nasopharyngeal cancer. A MRI was performed on a 40-year-old patient with extensive brain damage who had the radiation therapy two years ago.MRI finding was evaluated. On MRI, T2-weighted MRI showed an extensive hyperintensity after treated by irradiation. The radiographic pattern of extensive cerebral injury is relatively distinct. It involves the white matter and gray matter in cerebral, cerebellum, medulla oblongata, pons, internal capsule and thalamus bilaterally. Our observations demonstrate that the extensive hyperintensity lesions in brain on MRI after radiation therapy is a cortical laminar necrosis and white matter myelinolysis.
Sepsis Associated Encephalopathy Predicts Poor Outcome among Acute Supratentorial Intracerebral Hemorrhage with Coma  [PDF]

Abstract: Background: Both sepsis associated encephalopathy (SAE) and supratentorial intracerebral hemorrhage (SICH) are a significant cause of coma and death throughout the world. The aim of this study was to investigate whether the presence of SAE among acute SICH with coma would predict a poor outcome. Methods: A retrospective of consecutive patients was selected for study. All registered an adult intensive care unit (ICU) of university teaching hospital between June, 2013 and July, 2015. Brain computed tomography (CT) scans were analyzed on admission and at coma onset or after coma onset. Univariate and Cox regression analyses were performed. Results: A total of 379 SICH with coma was studied. Among these, 245 (64.6%) SICH patients with coma due to SAE and 134 (35.4%) SICH with coma no SAE was compared. Our data showed that the frequency of the SAE in SICH patients increased at about double the proportion over the four SIRS criteria. The SICH patients with SAE were more likely to present with infection (100% vs 35.8%) and multiple organ failure (1.2 ± 0.9 vs 0.1 ± 0.3), especially nosocomal brain failure (60.4%). The 30 days mortality was significantly higher in the SAE group than those who did not (60.8% vs 11.2%). In Cox multivariate logistic analysis, the SAE (RR, 4.4; 95% CI, 2.296 - 8.422; P = 0.000) was more likely to related to risk on death in SICH patient with coma. Conclusions: SAE is a frequent complication of SICH, which greatly increased risk of death among SICH patients with coma.

Abstract: This paper summarizes the variation characteristics of personal investment selection in China and analyses the correlation between personal financial investment selection and macro financial economic development. The result indicates that Chinese residents’ personal financial investment is greatly associated with GDP, price of commodities and interest rates but slightly with employment rate. Key words: personal finance, investment selection, macroeconomy, correlation Résumé: Le présent article résume les caractéristiques des variations du choix de l’investissement personnel en Chine et analyse la corrélation entre le choix de l'investissement financier personnel et le développement macroéconomique et financier. Abstract: Model-based planning is a general planning method. It extracts a plan from the model of the given problem. This paper presents a survey of model-based planning. At first.it introduces SATPLAN and CSP to discuss the general frameworks of model-based planning. Then it introduces newly developed model-based planning systems, BLACKBOX and GP-CSP. After comparing model-based planning with planning as deduction and CBP,it gives some remarks on the future of model-based planning.

Abstract: 提出了一种意向驱动式面向agent程序设计语言--AOPLID(agent-oriented programming language with intention driver).该语言基于开放式情景演算OSC(open situation calculus),吸收了GOLOG的合理成分,加入对信念、意向、能力、策略等agent心智成分的处理,使用信念修正原语处理通信交互以及事件响应等外因行动,并采用了一种新颖的离线规划和在线执行相结合的运行方式,从而解决了GOLOG语言在应用于面向agent程序设计时不能有效地描述处理agent心智状态,无法处理外因行动等问题.给出了AOPLID语言语法结构,基于OSC的AOPLID程序语义以及AOPLID程序实例.
Path planning of mobile robot based on compound potential field method

Abstract: Aiming at the problem existing in the path planning of mobile robot, this paper proposed a path planning based on compound potential field method CPFM for autonomous mobile robot. Firstly, this paper analyzed the shortages of artificial potential field in detail, which would lead to the local minimum point. Then it applied repulsive potential field function with additional repulsion factor to deal with the problem of the minimum, which caused by the obstacles in the vicinity of the target and made the target point unreachable. In addition, this paper developed a new compound potential field method, by combining the artificial potential field and visibility graph method, to help the robot escape from the local minimum point or the vibration area. Finally, verified the effectiveness and good performance of the CPFM by the experiments of path planning for indoor mobile robot.
In Search of Regulators of LeSPL-CNR by South-Western Blotting and Yeast One-Hybrid Library Screening System  [PDF]

LeSPL-CNR is a crucial transcription factor for fruit ripening of Solanum lycopersicum. The cnr (colorless non-ripening) epimutation resulted from hypermethylation in a 286 bp region of LeSPL-CNR promoter inhibits normal fruit ripening. In present study, potential regulators of LeSPL-CNR, which could bind to the specific 286 bp region, were screened via south-western blotting and yeast one-hybrid (Y1H) library screening system. Results indicated that a total of 13 and 19 candidate proteins were acquired respectively, and both ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase and 40S ribosomal protein were identified by two methods. These would provide some information for revealing roles of DNA methylation and the regulatory mechanism for LeSPL-CNR.

Infection of Apple by Apple Stem Grooving Virus Leads to Extensive Alterations in Gene Expression Patterns but No Disease Symptoms

Abstract: To understand the molecular basis of viral diseases, transcriptome profiling has been widely used to correlate host gene expression change patterns with disease symptoms during viral infection in many plant hosts. We used infection of apple by Apple stem grooving virus (ASGV), which produces no disease symptoms, to assess the significance of host gene expression changes in disease development. We specifically asked the question of whether such asymptomatic infection is attributed to limited changes in host gene expression. Using RNA-seq, we identified a total of 184 up-regulated and 136 down-regulated genes in apple shoot cultures permanently infected by ASGV in comparison with virus-free shoot cultures. As in most plant hosts showing disease symptoms during viral infection, these differentially expressed genes encode known or putative proteins involved in cell cycle, cell wall biogenesis, response to biotic and abiotic stress, development and fruit ripening, phytohormone function, metabolism, signal transduction, transcription regulation, translation, transport, and photosynthesis. Thus, global host gene expression changes do not necessarily lead to virus disease symptoms. Our data suggest that the general approaches to correlate host gene expression changes under viral infection conditions to specific disease symptom, based on the interpretation of transcription profiling data and altered individual gene functions, may have limitations depending on particular experimental systems.

Abstract: We apply the distributional derivative to study the existence of solutions of the second order periodic boundary value problems involving the distributional Henstock-Kurzweil integral. The distributional Henstock-Kurzweil integral is a general intergral, which contains the Lebesgue and Henstock-Kurzweil integrals. And the distributional derivative includes ordinary derivatives and approximate derivatives. By using the method of upper and lower solutions and a fixed point theorem, we achieve some results which are the generalizations of some previous results in the literatures.
