Computing and Routing for Trust in Structured P2P Network

Abstract: Study of trust in P2P network now is focus on how to effectively against various malicious behaviors such as providing fake or misleading feedback about other peers and the management of trust in a P2P environment. But the scotoma of portability that trust peer can join (leave) a certain P2P network at anytime and anywhere is seldom discussed. In this paper, a structured topology for trusts management in portable P2P network based on DHT (discrete hash table) is proposed first, in which includes trust management strategies and peer operations on certain DHT circle. After that, a novel trust-computing model for the structured P2P network and the main trust decisions in the structured network are introduced too. Effectiveness and practicality of the proposed trust management have been showed in simulation experiments at the end.

Abstract: P2P network is open, anonymous and dynamical in contrast with conventional network. It’s full of dishonesty, deceit, selfishness. It’s necessary to build a robust security infrastructure system. The one important module of security infrastructure is to identify the users in transactions. This paper will propose an identification solution based on PKI. In our algorithm, the peer generates their public-private key pairs by themselves, issues certificates, and performs authentication without any centralized services. It can realize the identification, meanwhile keep peers anonymous. Moreover, it can limit the quantity of ID that a user applies for; alleviate the risk of Sybil attack.

Abstract: Based on the mechanism analysis of frost-heaving force emerging in the retaining structure with row-piles and frozen soil wall for deep foundation pit,releasing-pressure holes are used to reduce horizontal frost-heaving force. By numerical simulation,the values of horizontal frost-heaving force against row-piles are obtained in the condition with or without releasing-pressure holes. The results indicate that using releasing-pressure holes can sharply reduce the horizontal frost-heaving force against row-piles, and the relationship between horizontal frost-heaving force and thickness of frozen soil wall is given out. The research results can provide designing basis for engineering practice of the new type of retaining structure.
Clinical Implementation of Chromosomal Microarray Analysis: Summary of 2513 Postnatal Cases

Abstract: Background Array Comparative Genomic Hybridization (a-CGH) is a powerful molecular cytogenetic tool to detect genomic imbalances and study disease mechanism and pathogenesis. We report our experience with the clinical implementation of this high resolution human genome analysis, referred to as Chromosomal Microarray Analysis (CMA). Methods and Findings CMA was performed clinically on 2513 postnatal samples from patients referred with a variety of clinical phenotypes. The initial 775 samples were studied using CMA array version 4 and the remaining 1738 samples were analyzed with CMA version 5 containing expanded genomic coverage. Overall, CMA identified clinically relevant genomic imbalances in 8.5% of patients: 7.6% using V4 and 8.9% using V5. Among 117 cases referred for additional investigation of a known cytogenetically detectable rearrangement, CMA identified the majority (92.5%) of the genomic imbalances. Importantly, abnormal CMA findings were observed in 5.2% of patients (98/1872) with normal karyotypes/FISH results, and V5, with expanded genomic coverage, enabled a higher detection rate in this category than V4. For cases without cytogenetic results available, 8.0% (42/524) abnormal CMA results were detected; again, V5 demonstrated an increased ability to detect abnormality. Improved diagnostic potential of CMA is illustrated by 90 cases identified with 51 cryptic microdeletions and 39 predicted apparent reciprocal microduplications in 13 specific chromosomal regions associated with 11 known genomic disorders. In addition, CMA identified copy number variations (CNVs) of uncertain significance in 262 probands; however, parental studies usually facilitated clinical interpretation. Of these, 217 were interpreted as familial variants and 11 were determined to be de novo; the remaining 34 await parental studies to resolve the clinical significance. Conclusions This large set of clinical results demonstrates the significantly improved sensitivity of CMA for the detection of clinically relevant genomic imbalances and highlights the need for comprehensive genetic counseling to facilitate accurate clinical correlation and interpretation.

Abstract: Tin-tagging method is one of the most powerful methods to track the seeds removed,cached and dispersed by seed-caching rodents,which can easily determine where each seed comes from and the fate of the seed,making the quantitative study of seed dispersal and its fate more effective and accurate. This paper briefly introduced its managing procedures,including material selection and preparation,field operation,and some notices during operation.
Effects of enclosure protection and seed burial on direct seeding of nut-bearing trees

Abstract: In a subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest nearby Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, Southwest China, we investigated seedling establishment of six nut-bearing tree species with and without enclosure protection and seed burial, with the aim of determining the impact of these treatments on seed survival and seedling establishment. At the same time, we studied population dynamics of seed-eating rodents in the autumn and the following spring. The results showed that, without enclosure protection, most of the seeds were predated due to high predation pressure in the autumn. The emergence rate of seedlings of all the studied species significantly increased under autumn protection, complete protection, and 1-4 cm burial under soil covered by litter. Effects may reflect the seasonal dynamics of rodent abundance and the characteristics of the seeds. We conclude that taking effective measures such as enclosure protection and seed burial according to seasonal dynamics of rodent population would promote survival after direct seeding.

Abstract: 润扬长江公路大桥南汊悬索桥南锚碇基坑深29 m,平面尺寸为69 m×51 m,采用排桩冻土墙围护结构,为解决该结构设计中冻胀力取值难题,进行深基坑排桩冻土墙围护结构冻胀力物模试验研究。首先根据相似理论,推导模拟试验的相似准则;然后,进行模型设计和制作;最后,通过模拟试验,首次得到没有卸压孔时,排桩所受水平冻胀力为0.238 MPa,当在冻土墙外侧施工卸压孔时,排桩所受的水平冻胀力平均值为0.133 MPa。并给出了随着基坑开挖的卸压作用,桩上受到的水平冻胀力呈现减小趋势,最大衰减率达40%。从而为这种新型围护结构的工程应用提供设计依据。

深冻结井筒内层钢板高强钢筋混凝土复合井壁试验研究

Abstract: 针对600~800 m特厚表土层中冻结井筒的支护难题,根据约束混凝土原理,提出合理的解决途径是采用内层钢板高强钢筋混凝土复合冻结井壁结构.通过模型试验,对该种井壁结构的应力、变形和强度特性进行深入研究,结果表明:由于内层钢板筒的约束作用,井壁结构中混凝土处于三轴受压应力状态下,其变形能力和抗压强度都得到较大程度的提高,井壁破坏时,内缘混凝土的环向应变可达-4 000 με,表现出较好的延性特性,改善了高强混凝土的脆性缺陷.如将目前现场使用的现浇高强钢筋混凝土冻结井壁改为内层钢板高强钢筋混凝土复合结构形式,则井壁承载能力可大大提高,可合理地解决特厚表土层中冻结井筒的支护难题.影响该种井壁极限承载力大小的因素依次为混凝土抗压强度、厚径比、内层钢板厚度和配筋率,其中提高混凝土强度对井壁承载力影响非常显著,如将混凝土强度提高10 MPa,则井壁承载力将提高约13.8%.而增大配筋率对井壁承载力影响甚微,所以,在实际工程应用中,为经济合理设计井壁,只需配置单外排钢筋.最后,根据理论分析和试验结果推导出该种井壁承载力的计算公式,从而为该种井壁结构的工程应用提供设计依据.
