Abstract: A series of polylactic acid (PLA) based nanocomposite fibrous membranes, including neat PLA, PLA/hydroxyapatite (HA) and PLA/HA/graphene oxide (GO), were fabricated via electrospinning method. The morphology and composition were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) respectively. The thermal stability was determined by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). To estimate the cytocompatibility of asprepared PLA/HA/GO fibrous membrane, MC3T3-E1 cells were cultured, and the corresponding cell adhesion and differentiation capability were investigated by fluorescence microscopy, SEM and MTT test. The electrospun ternary PLA/HA/GO membrane exhibited three-dimensional fibrous structure with relatively rough surface morphology, which made itself ideal for cell attachment and proliferation in bone tissue regeneration. The fluorescence microscopy, SEM and MTT test confirmed that the PLA/HA/GO nanocomposite fibrous membrane created a proper environment for the seeding and proliferation of MC3T3-E1 cells.
Lie Algebraic Criteria for Stability of Linear NeutralSystems with a Single Delay

Abstract: The stability of linear neutral delay-differentialsystems with a single delay is investigated. In termsof solvability of a matrix Lie algebra, new simpledelay-independent stability criteria are presented. The new criteria break through the limitation of~$\|C \|<1$,~$\rho(|C|)<1$ or ~$\rho(|N|)<1$ in the stabilitycriteria existing in the related literature and thus lead to theasymptotic stability of neutral systems with a single delay in thecase of ~$\|C \|\ge 1$,~$\rho(|C|)\ge 1$ and ~$\rho(|N|)\ge1$. Finally, two examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the newcriteria.

Abstract:

We combined foreign reserves, capital control and financial depth with other economic variables in the same model and discussed the factors that affect the demand of China’s foreign reserves. The results showed that 1) a considerable number of foreign reserves are passively accumulated, for instance, stronger capital controls deeper financial system will lower the demand of foreign reserves; 2) the ratio of Hot Money/GDP is more significant than the FDI/GDP as a proxy of foreign reserves’ protective demand.

Simulation of Dynamic Property for Wave Reflection in Basin over a Half Infinite Space by Staggered Grid RFFT Differentiation  [PDF]

Abstract: Simulations for seismic wave propagation in the sedimentary basin over half-infinite rock space were performed in this analysis. The results indicated that the basin shape in heterogeneous structures affected wave dynamic characteristics in propagating. The refraction wave from the rock brought the multireflection wave and the secondary surface wave in the basin. The waves oscillating up-down within the basin shook the buildings time after time resulting in heavy damage. The geometrical focusing by basin corners and the physical interference between waves significantly amplified the ground motions. The location of peak ground motion due to the interference was attributable to the apparent velocity difference between the secondary surface wave and the body wave. The late-arrival waves also resulted in the peak ground motion. The frequencies of the late-arrival waves of multireflection might cause dispersion. The late-arrival conversion waves with various frequencies widened the frequency band of seismic input waves shaking buildings and could seriously damage buildings with corresponding intrinsic frequencies.

Abstract: China's prison system requirement is that the full security, monitoring enterprise separate income and expenditure separately, standardized operation, the real is the separation of prisons and prison enterprises to blend with the original prison sentence production and management functions and management functions of separately, to build two sets of both established by law, a separate operation, but also organically linked closely with the new prison system. The new prison system includes the new jail management system and a new prison enterprises management system. New prison management system's main task is the execution of sentences, rehabilitation of offenders. The new enterprise management system, the prison's main task is to provide jobs for the rehabilitation of offenders and places at the same time based on "Company Law" to carry out production and business activities. In the context of prison reform, prison enterprise financial management has been continuously confronted with new problems, so the prison enterprise financial management needs of financial concepts, financial system, financial system, financial relations and increased financial and cultural aspects of innovation, to adapt to the prison the execution of sentences, rehabilitation of offenders needs.
Investigation on Simulation and Measurement of Reverberation for Small Rooms

Abstract: This paper investigates the simulation of reverberation in a small room using image source method, Schroeder model, and Gardner model. It then compares the simulation results with measurement of reverberation in the real measurement room. It shows a large difference between the simulation and the real measurement of reverberation due to the over-simplified representation of the sound source, receiver, and room surfaces in the models. A reverberation simulation model including the real measurement of the source, receiver, and room surfaces will be developed to better match the real measurement of reverberation.

Abstract: Digital waveguide mesh has emerged as an efficient and straightforward way to model small room impulse response because it solves the wave equation directly in the time domain. In this paper, we investigate the performance of the 3-D rectangular digital waveguide mesh in modeling the low frequency portion of room impulse response. We find that it has similar performance compared to the popular image source method when modeling the low frequency portion of the early specular reflections of the room impulse responses.

Abstract: Noise reduction is a very meaningful but difficult task and it has been a subject of intense research in recent years. This paper introduces two popular noise reduction techniques and presents our simulation result of a noise reduction system. It is shown that the system reduces the noise almost completely while keeps the enhanced speech signal very similar to the original speech signal.

Abstract: Inelastic lifetime of an electron quasiparticle in an electron liquid due to electron-electron interaction evaluated in previous work is calculated in an alternative way. Both the contributions of the "direct" and "exchange" processes are included. The results turn out to be exactly the same as those obtained previously, and hence confirm the latter. Derivation in the two-dimensional case is presented in great details due to its intricacies.
