Abstract: The title compound, C14H13N3O3, was synthesized by the condensation reaction of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde with isonicotinohydrazide in a methanol solution. The molecule of the compound displays a trans configuration with respect to the C=N and C—N bonds. The dihedral angle between the benzene and the pyridine rings is 27.3 (2)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H...N interactions into zigzag chains with graph-set notation C(7) along [010]. An intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bond is observed.

Abstract: The title molecule, C9H9N3O4, syhthesized from 1H-pyrazole-3,5-dicarboxylic acid and 2-bromoacetonitrile, is approximately planar; the interplanar angles between the pyrazole ring and the mean planes of the two carboxylate units and the cyanomethyl unit are 4.49 (10), 5.56 (9) and 5.03 (19)°, respectively. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of weak C—H ...O bonds occur, and the packing is further stabilized by aromatic π–π stacking [centroid–centroid separation = 3.793 (4) ].
Current and Shot Noise in a Quantum Dot Coupled to Ferromagnetic Leads in the Large U Limit

Abstract: Using the Keldysh nonequilibrium Green function technique, we study the current and shot noise spectroscopy of a single interacting quantum dot coupled to two ferromagnetic leads with different polarizations. The polarizations of leads can be both parallel and antiparallel alignments. General formulas of current and shot noise are obtained, which can be applied in both the parallel and antiparallel alignment cases. We show that for large polarization value, the differential conductance and shot noise are completely diferent for spin up and spin down configurations in the parallel alignment case. However, the differential conductance and shot noise have the similar properties for parallel alignment case in the small polarization value and for antiparallel alignment case in any polarization value.

Abstract: This paper proposes an alternative scheme for generating four-photon W state via cavity QED. The scheme bases on the resonant interaction of a \Lambda -type three level atom with two bimodal cavities. The detection of atom collapses the cavity to the desired state. Comparing with previous schemes, the advantage of this scheme is that the interaction time can be greatly shortened since it uses the resonant interaction between atom and cavities. Moreover, the proposed scheme is more experimentally feasible than the previous ones.
A scheme for approximate conditional teleportation of entangled two-mode cavity state without Bell state measurement

Abstract: An alternative scheme to approximately conditionally teleport entangled two-mode cavity state without Bell state measurement in cavity QED is proposed. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of a ladder-type three-level atom with two bimodal cavities. The entangled cavity state is reconstructed with only one atom interacting with the two cavities successively.

Abstract: Using the Keldysh nonequilibrium Green function technique, we study the current and shot noise spectroscopy of an interacting quantum dot coupled to two ferromagnetic leads with different polarizations in the Kondo regime. General formulas of current and shot noise are obtained, which can be applied in both the parallel (P) and antiparallel (AP) alignment cases. For large polarization values, it is revealed that the behaviour of differential conductance and shot noise are completely different for spin up and spin down configurations in the P alignment case. However, the differential conductance and shot noise have similar properties for different spin configurations in the P alignment case with the small polarization value and in the AP alignment case with any polarization value.
Correlated electron transport through parallel double-quantum-dot

Abstract: We investigate the spectral and transport properties of parallel double-quantum-dot (DQD) system with interdot tunneling coupling in both the equilibrium and nonequilibrium cases. The special geometry of DQD system is considered, in which each dot is connected to two leads by the tunneling barriers. With the help of Keldysh nonequilibrium Green function technique and the equation-of-motion approach, the spectral function and the conductance spectra of DQD system are calculated in two cases with and without the intradot Coulomb interaction, respectively. The exact calculation is performed in the absence of intradot Coulomb interaction. For the case with intradot Coulomb interaction, the Hartree-Fock approximation is applied to truncate the equation of motion for the high-order Green functions at high temperatures. The phenomenon of correlated electron transport is clearly shown in the linear conductance of each dot in the presence of interdot tunneling when setting one dot level and tuning another. The interplay between the intradot Coulomb interaction and the interdot tunneling coupling is displayed.
