Abstract: 为探讨钻井液及其组分的毒性效应,采用荧光技术研究了一种水基钻井液WBF及其7种主要组分(HXJ、PAC141、KPAM、PolyAL、XC、PolyA、Mud)对海洋微藻中肋骨条藻(Skeletonema costatum)的毒性作用,以未加入WBF或其组分的中肋骨条藻的叶绿素荧光强度为参照,计算得到钻井液及其组分对中肋骨条藻不同时间的EC50值. 结果表明:WBF的7种单组分中,PolyA对中肋骨条藻的96h EC50 = 2 × 103mg·L-1,为有毒组分,PolyAL的96h EC50 = 3 × 104mg·L-1,为低毒组分,其余5种组分无毒;WBF的有毒和低毒组分复配时其毒性与作用时间有关,PolyA与PolyAL在24h之内表现为协同作用,之后主要表现为拮抗作用;WBF的毒性主要取决于其有毒组分,而低毒和无毒组分对钻井液的毒性有协同增强作用.

Abstract: A phase-controlled lower hybrid wave (LHW) multi-junction (MJ) coupler (3(rows)×(columns)× (subwaveguides)) has been developed in the HT-7 tokamak. Simulations show that it is more effective for driving plasma current than an ordinary phase-controlled LHW antenna (3(rows)×12(columns)) (traditional coupler). The plasma--wave coupling experiments show that the reflection coefficient (RC) is below 10%, implying that the MJ grill can launch the wave into the plasma effectively. The effect of power spectrum launched by the MJ coupler on RC indicates that an optimal condition is requisite for a better coupling in the lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) experiments. Studies indicate that the drive efficiency of the MJ antenna is higher than that of the traditional one, which is mainly ascribed to the discrepancy in impurity concentration, plasma temperature, and spectrum directivity. An improved confinement with an electron internal transport barrier is obtained by LHCD. The analysis shows that the modified negative (low) magnetic shear and the change of radial electric field profile due to LHCD are possible factors responsible for the eITB formation.

Abstract: This paper investigates four classes of functions with a single discontinuous point. We give the sufficient and necessary conditions under which the second order iterates are continuous functions. Furthermore, the sufficient conditions for the continuity of the even order iterates with finitely many discontinuous points are obtained.

Abstract: This study with subjects of 345 sales service personnel, examines the organization atmosphere and psychological capital in the customer’s verbal abuse and sales staff turnover intention and job burnout of the influence of the adjustment. It was found that: 1) verbal violation of the customer had a significant positive correlation with the tendency to resign and job burnout; 2) psychological capital has a negative moderating effect on the relationship between verbal abuse and turnover intention of sales staff; 3) organization atmosphere has negative moderating effect on the relationship between customer’s verbal violation and sales staff’s turnover intention and job burnout.

Abstract:
This paper presented a methodology for the analysis and design of steel connections under a double-span connection within the context of preventing progressive collapse. First, various connection models were described and their pros and cons were provided. Then, the load-displacement characteristics of a component-based spring model were described. Thirdly, an experi-mental study on the behaviors of shear tab connections under tension was presented. The main sources of the deformation capacity of the shear tab connections were identified. Finally, a design example of a shear tab connection was provided to illustrate the methodology.

Abstract: The classification method of relative permeability curves is rarely reported, when relative permeability curves are applied; if the multiple relative permeability curves are normalized directly, but not classified, the calculated result maybe cause a large error. For example, the relationship curve between oil displacement efficiency and water cut, which derived from the relative permeability curve in LD oilfield is uncertain in the shape of low water cut stage. If being directly normalized, the result of the interpretation of the water flooded zone is very high. In this study, two problems were solved: 1) The mathematical equation of the relationship between oil displacement efficiency and water cut was deduced, and repaired the lost data of oil displacement efficiency and water cut curve, which solve the problem of uncertain curve shape. After analysis, the reason why the curve is not available is that relative permeability curves are not classified and optimized; 2) Two kinds of classification and evaluation methods of relative permeability curve were put forward, the direct evaluation method and the analogy method; it can get the typical relative permeability curve by identifying abnormal curve.
Generic Algorithm to Predict the Speed of Translational Elongation: Implications for Protein Biogenesis

Abstract: Synonymous codon usage and variations in the level of isoaccepting tRNAs exert a powerful selective force on translation fidelity. We have developed an algorithm to evaluate the relative rate of translation which allows large-scale comparisons of the non-uniform translation rate on the protein biogenesis. Using the complete genomes of Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis we show that stretches of codons pairing to minor tRNAs form putative sites to locally attenuate translation; thereby the tendency is to cluster in near proximity whereas long contiguous stretches of slow-translating triplets are avoided. The presence of slow-translating segments positively correlates with the protein length irrespective of the protein abundance. The slow-translating clusters are predominantly located down-stream of the domain boundaries presumably to fine-tune translational accuracy with the folding fidelity of multidomain proteins. Translation attenuation patterns at highly structurally and functionally conserved domains are preserved across the species suggesting a concerted selective pressure on the codon selection and species-specific tRNA abundance in these regions.
Network Robustness Due to Multiple Positive Feedback Loops: A Systematic Study of a Th Cell Differentiation Model

Abstract: Positive feedback loops have been identified in many biological signal transduction systems. Their importance in a system’s bistability has been well established by identifying multiple steady states of a network under different parameters. In this paper, we identify the contribution of positive feedback loops to network robustness by a systematic comparison between network structures and responses to perturbations at a pre-steady state. Our study is based on a T helper (Th) cell differentiation model in which positive feedback loops give rise to a subnet robustness against both positive and negative perturbations from outside the subnet. Although it is unclear whether this pre-steady state exists in vivo, the results from in silico modeling are in agreement with the reported in vivo observations. Being highly heterogeneous and rarely at a steady state, the disease cells, such as cancer cells, may gain potential resistances to certain drugs in a similar way. From the reverse engineering point of view, our results confirm that, while data from perturbation experiments are very effective in identifying causal relationships among the network components, caution should be taken, as in some circumstances, a direct interaction could be invisible due to positive feedback loops.
Unsupervised Target Detection in SAR Images Using Scattering Center Model and Mean Shift Clustering Algorithm

Abstract: A new framework for target detection in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images is proposed. We focus on the task of locating reflective small regions using scattering centers model and clustering algorithm. Unlike most of the approaches in target detection, we address an algorithm that incorporates total variation filtering and mean shift clustering instead of parameter estimation. Our approach is validated by a series of tests on real SAR images and compared with other target detection algorithms, demonstrating that it configures a novel and efficient method for target-detection purpose.
