Zeineb Zerai
Advances in Physical Education (APE) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ape.2018.81002
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the effects of verbalization on the learning process. The methodology adopted consisted of recording the debate of ideas?among?Tunisian students after each learning situation during a complete Handballcycle. An analysis of content and discourse was carried out. Increasing the locational relevance of knowledge has played a key role in interactions, becoming a source of conflict/negotiation and even progress. Understanding, analyzing and interpreting the phenomena that occur during game play are essential to the development of effective action useful in the upcoming “rapport de forces”.
How to Evaluate Interactions during a Debate of Ideas  [PDF]
Zeineb Zerai, Rim Mekni
Creative Education (CE) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/ce.2017.84042
Abstract: The idea of a debate of ideas is part of an innovative conception of the teaching/learning system at school, in which knowledge is developed with the help of peers and the teacher. The debate of ideas first appears as a situation of verbalization about action intended to make aware of the task to be carried out and the instructions that characterize it. To evaluate its effects, we will take data from the experimentation of Zerai (2009) and give us a triangulation between the result and the score of the encounters, quantitative data (balls played, balls conquered, etc.) and a qualitative data: the roadmap. We will try to test the contributions of peer interactions. The methodology used was to observe and retrieve data on a group of Tunisian second-year girls from Thala Secondary High School in a handball cycle. In this group of twenty girls, we organized four sub-groups to form the teams. The chosen triangulation allows an indirect measure of the effectiveness of the debate of ideas. The performance of the team (the ratio of shots to the number of goals) appears very quickly as a trigger for concertation between the players. The observation made collectively on the losses of the ball will also, very quickly generate reactions. The roadmap relies more on the planned strategy and the changes of roles within the team that it implies. In conclusion, comparing the selected indicators provides a realistic way of assessing the adequacy between interactions and progress in the game. This type of work emphasizes the time needed to succeed. One of the achievements of the research in didactics of collective sports at school is that the learning of a game can not be conceived without an important practice. For pupils, a real learning in collective sports games lies, in situations of problem gambling, to observe, to extract, to evaluate the information more and more relevant to reduce the time of analysis, and thus of decision to act on the opposition reports.

SociologieS , 2012,
The employment of North African women in France: specificities and brakes. The case of NormandyThis contribution deals with the employment situation of North African women immigrants in Normandy and their specific work and career development. In the first part, we present the specifics of women immigrant work of and the consequences of the migration which is an opportunity for some of them whereas it may be a source of difficulties for others. We focus on the importance of factors such as education, diploma, origin and the context in which arrives and evolves the immigrant woman. We also show that the feminization of migration from North Africa and the gradual entry of these women in the labor market in France are gradually changing images and representations conveyed on the North African immigrant women in France.

Is the House Price Movement Explaining the Pattern of Consumption: The Case of U.K.?
Zeineb Naggara,Makram Bellalah
International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences , 2013,
Abstract: The purpose of this paper was to investigate whether the historical perspective of house price movements could help to explain the recent pattern of consumption in the UK. In addition to this, tests of this study evaluated how strong the correlation between those variables within a specific period of time could be. This paper also attempted to investigate to which extent the current crisis, well-known as the subprime market crash, could affect future expectations about house prices and consumer habits, considering the following three housing market hypotheses: 1) a wealth effect (Muellbauer & Murphy, 1990): an expected increase in house prices raises the desired level of expenditure; 2) the lower credit constraints, the higher consumption (King & Pagano, 1990); and 3) common causality model: factors such as changes in expected income growth, tax changes or changes in credit market conditions lead to increases in both household expenditure and house prices. Our findings about the coincidence of house prices and consumption during the last two decades had corroborated the hypothesis that an increase in house prices movements could help to explain the followed pattern of consumption.
The Relationship between Prenatal Care and Subsequent Modern Contraceptive use in Bolivia, Egypt and Thailand
Assata Zerai, Amy Ong Tsui
African Journal of Reproductive Health , 2001,
Abstract: Determinants of modern contraceptive use are usually examined in isolation of the effect of exposure to other aspects of health care systems. Maternal interaction with organised health service provision during post-conception and postpartum stages of reproduction can provide an opportunity to transfer contraceptive service information and counselling. We found that living in a community in which women have widespread health service contact is related to both prenatal care use and subsequent modern contraceptive use. After controlling for effects of living in high health service contact areas and various demographic and background factors, our results suggest that prior use of prenatal care has a strong influence on subsequent use of modern contraception in Bolivia, Egypt and Thailand. Health (Health) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/health.2015.78107
Abstract: The study assessed the relationship between exposure to stress and posttraumatic symptoms among nurses and physicians in a Jendouba general hospital. Hospital staff who were exposed to stress were assessed for posttraumatic stress disorder. High levels of stress symptoms were found in physicians and nurses. Logistic regression analysis showed that nurses had an increased risk for posttraumatic stress disorder factors characterized by negative behavior to patient, increased workload excessive ambiguity and role conflict and the lack of free. These findings showed that nurses suffered from more severe posttraumatic symptoms compared to physicians after exposure to prolonged stress. The gap between physicians and nurses warrants further study.
Discrete-Time Ping-pong Optimized Pulse Shaping-OFDM (POPS-OFDM) Operating on Time and Frequency Dispersive Channels for 5G Systems

Abstract: The Fourth Generation (4G) of mobile communication systems was optimized to offer high data rates with high terminal mobility by ensuring strict synchronism and perfect orthogonality. However, the trend for novel applications, that had not been feasible a few years back, reveals major limits of this strict synchronism and imposes new challenges and severe requirements. But, coarse synchronization can dramatically damage the waveforms orthogonality in the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) signals, which results in oppressive Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI) and Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI). As a consequence, the use of non-orthogonal waveforms becomes further essential in order to meet the upcoming requirements. In this context, we propose here a novel waveform construction, referred to Ping-pong Optimized Pulse Shaping-OFDM (POPS-OFDM), which is believed to be an attractive candidate for the optimization of the radio interface of next 5G mobile communication systems. Through a maximization of the Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR), this approach allows optimal and straightforward waveform design for multicarrier systems at the Transmitter (Tx) and Receiver (Rx) sides. In this paper, we analyze several characteristics of the proposed waveforms and shed light on relevant features, which make it a powerful candidate for the design of 5G system radio interface waveforms.
