Clinics and Practice , 2011, DOI: 10.4081/cp.2011.e82
Abstract: Annular pancreas is a rare congenital abnormality. This entity can rarely be symptomatic. Patients can present with gastrointestinal obstruction or acute pancreatitis. We report a case with a rich iconography, of an annular pancreas discovered intraoperatively. A 46- year-old woman was operated with the diagnosis of acute cholecystitis with common bile duct stones. At operation, a strip of pancreatic tissue (2 cm) completely encircled the second duodenum. Open cholecytectomy with choledocotomy and stones extractionwas done. Postoperatively, she developed an acute pancreatitis. The post-operative cholangiography showed the annular duct surrounding the second duodenum. Annular pancreas is rare. Symptoms may occur in newborn children. In adults, annular pancreas discovering is radiological or intra operatively.
Pseudo-tumoral hepatic tuberculosis discovered after surgical resection
Miloudi Nizar,Mzoughi Zeineb,Ben Abid Sadri,Sabbagh Safa
Clinics and Practice , 2012, DOI: 10.4081/cp.2012.e27
Abstract: Pseudo-tumoral hepatic tuberculosis is rare. It is characterized by non-specific symptoms and radiological polymorphism. Diagnosis is problematic. This article presents three cases, each clinically different from each other, that illustrate how difficult diagnosis can be. The definitive diagnosis of pseudo-tumoral hepatic tuberculosis was reached on the basis of histological examination of surgical samples. Treatment of the disease based on appropriate anti-tubercular therapy generally gives a positive outcome.

Advances in Physical Education (APE) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ape.2018.81002
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the effects of verbalization on the learning process. The methodology adopted consisted of recording the debate of ideas?among?Tunisian students after each learning situation during a complete Handballcycle. An analysis of content and discourse was carried out. Increasing the locational relevance of knowledge has played a key role in interactions, becoming a source of conflict/negotiation and even progress. Understanding, analyzing and interpreting the phenomena that occur during game play are essential to the development of effective action useful in the upcoming “rapport de forces”.
How to Evaluate Interactions during a Debate of Ideas  [PDF]
Zeineb Zerai, Rim Mekni
Creative Education (CE) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/ce.2017.84042
Abstract: The idea of a debate of ideas is part of an innovative conception of the teaching/learning system at school, in which knowledge is developed with the help of peers and the teacher. The debate of ideas first appears as a situation of verbalization about action intended to make aware of the task to be carried out and the instructions that characterize it. To evaluate its effects, we will take data from the experimentation of Zerai (2009) and give us a triangulation between the result and the score of the encounters, quantitative data (balls played, balls conquered, etc.) and a qualitative data: the roadmap. We will try to test the contributions of peer interactions. The methodology used was to observe and retrieve data on a group of Tunisian second-year girls from Thala Secondary High School in a handball cycle. In this group of twenty girls, we organized four sub-groups to form the teams. The chosen triangulation allows an indirect measure of the effectiveness of the debate of ideas. The performance of the team (the ratio of shots to the number of goals) appears very quickly as a trigger for concertation between the players. The observation made collectively on the losses of the ball will also, very quickly generate reactions. The roadmap relies more on the planned strategy and the changes of roles within the team that it implies. In conclusion, comparing the selected indicators provides a realistic way of assessing the adequacy between interactions and progress in the game. This type of work emphasizes the time needed to succeed. One of the achievements of the research in didactics of collective sports at school is that the learning of a game can not be conceived without an important practice. For pupils, a real learning in collective sports games lies, in situations of problem gambling, to observe, to extract, to evaluate the information more and more relevant to reduce the time of analysis, and thus of decision to act on the opposition reports.

The employment of North African women in France: specificities and brakes. The case of NormandyThis contribution deals with the employment situation of North African women immigrants in Normandy and their specific work and career development. In the first part, we present the specifics of women immigrant work of and the consequences of the migration which is an opportunity for some of them whereas it may be a source of difficulties for others. We focus on the importance of factors such as education, diploma, origin and the context in which arrives and evolves the immigrant woman. We also show that the feminization of migration from North Africa and the gradual entry of these women in the labor market in France are gradually changing images and representations conveyed on the North African immigrant women in France.

The Abiod at Ellès (Tunisia): stratigraphies, Campanian-Maastrichtian boundary, correlation [L'Abiod d'Ellès (Tunisie) : stratigraphies, limite Campanien-Maastrichtien et corrélation]

Carnets de Géologie , 2010,
Abstract: In central Tunisia near the village of Ellès is Wadi Ed Dam. There the Abiod Formation, underlain by the Kef marls and capped by the El Haria marls, crops out in an almost uninterrupted exposure about 286 m thick. In view of its possible use as a regional litho- and bio- stratigraphic reference section for the southern border of the Tunisian trough it is examined in detail here. Fossils studied include foraminifera (115 samples representing 6 micropaleontologic zones, see chart) and ammonites. The biohorizons established are based on the first (FO) or last occurrence (LO) of certain species of planktonic foraminifers in addition to the FO of already established foraminiferal zonal markers. Ammonite markers found include both the FO and LO of some forms, or just one or the other. The location of the Campanian-Maastrichtian (Cp-Ma) boundary time line at Ellès is established by comparison with that determined at Kalaat-Senan and with that of the international stratotype of Tercis (France), ratified by the International Union of Geological Sciences. At Kalaat-Senan the Cp-Ma boundary is set at the lower third of the upper indurated limestone bar of the Abiod Formation - the Ncham Member. Its location at Kalaat-Senan is based on the upper limit of occurrence of Nostoceras (Nostoceras) hyatti and Pseudokossmaticeras brandti together with the FO of Nostoceras magdadiae, a Maastrichtian ammonite. At Ellès several of these same markers are present, along with the respective planktonic foraminiferal zones. The length in years of some lithologic units and paleontologic zones in the Upper Cretaceous succession of wadi Ed Dam was calculated using cyclostratigraphy. The Abiod Formation represents 13.2 Ma, the Radotruncana calcarata Zone 0.79 Ma, and the Nostoceras (Bostrychoceras) polyplocum Zone 0.97 Ma. A proposed subdivision of the Upper Campanian is recommended at the base of the Bostrychoceras Zone.Li et alii's 1999 proposal for fixing the location of the Cp-Ma boundary at the top of a limestone bed in the El Haria marls is reviewed.
Is the House Price Movement Explaining the Pattern of Consumption: The Case of U.K.?
Zeineb Naggara,Makram Bellalah
International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences , 2013,
Abstract: The purpose of this paper was to investigate whether the historical perspective of house price movements could help to explain the recent pattern of consumption in the UK. In addition to this, tests of this study evaluated how strong the correlation between those variables within a specific period of time could be. This paper also attempted to investigate to which extent the current crisis, well-known as the subprime market crash, could affect future expectations about house prices and consumer habits, considering the following three housing market hypotheses: 1) a wealth effect (Muellbauer & Murphy, 1990): an expected increase in house prices raises the desired level of expenditure; 2) the lower credit constraints, the higher consumption (King & Pagano, 1990); and 3) common causality model: factors such as changes in expected income growth, tax changes or changes in credit market conditions lead to increases in both household expenditure and house prices. Our findings about the coincidence of house prices and consumption during the last two decades had corroborated the hypothesis that an increase in house prices movements could help to explain the followed pattern of consumption.
Online Reservation Abandonment: How to Bridge the Gap between the Original Intention and the Actual Behavior?  [PDF]
Mohamed Nabil Mzoughi, Anissa Negra, A?cha Habacha
American Journal of Industrial and Business Management (AJIBM) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/ajibm.2012.23012
Abstract: Online reservation abandonment has not been yet explained by scholars. This research aims to identify key drivers to the issue. It proposes a theoretical framework inspired from behavioral theories particularly from Morrison’s Model (1979) stipulating that actions are controlled by intentions, but not all intentions are accomplished. Findings show that online consumer procrastination and website quality encourage online shoppers to intend to drop out an e-reservation and leave the hotel website without culminating the purchase. This study provides hoteliers with insights to improve purchase conversion rates on their own websites.
