A brief review on the evolution of GPCR: conservation and diversification  [PDF]

Abstract: G-protein couple receptors (GPCR) possess diversified functions and they comprise a large protein superfamily in cellular signaling. Numerous identification methods for GPCR have been employed and versatile GPCR types are discussed. Although they share conserved transmembrane structural topology, alignment results of all GPCR show no significant sequence similarities. Each GPCR type distributes diversely in different evolutionary hierarchies of eukaryotes, but it has a distinctive boundary in the era of metazoan. The common ancestor of GPCR metabotropic glutamate receptor includes 7-transmembrane structure and venus flytrap module, which is probably evolved from a compound of bacteriorhodopsin and periplasmic binding protein. Many investigations focus on fine structure shaping and GPCR classification. Here, we briefly discuss evolutionary dynamic mechanism of GPCR from the perspective of classification, diversification and conservation.
Effects of the deletion of RsbV gene on virulence of Listeria monocytogenes

Abstract: 【目的】探讨RsbV基因缺失对单核细胞增生李斯特菌(LM)毒力的影响。【方法】运用基因重叠延伸PCR(SOE-PCR)技术扩增出LM-XS5野毒株的RsbV基因缺失片段,然后用同源重组方法构建RsbV基因缺失株;通过肝脾细菌计数、LD50的测定和毒力基因转录水平的检测(qRT-PCR),研究LM野毒株和缺失株在毒力上的差异。【结果】RsbV基因缺失株LD50是野毒株的104倍(P<0.01);缺失株在小白鼠肝和脾内的载菌量均明显减少(P<0.05);实时荧光定量PCR检测结果发现,缺失株4个毒力因子的表达水平均显著低于野毒株(P<0.05);缺失株免疫小白鼠后对野毒株的攻毒具有良好的免疫保护作用。【结论】RsbV对LM的4个毒力基因inlA、LLO、PlcA和PrfA的表达具有调控作用;RsbV基因缺失株毒力明显减弱,但仍保留了较强的免疫原性。
Bioaccumulation of Cd, Zn and Pb by three heavy metal-resistant endophytic fungi isolated from rapes

Abstract: 为了筛选到对重金属具良好富集活性的微生物吸附剂,以分离于大宝山矿区重金属富集植物油菜的3株具重金属抗性的内生真菌Fusarium sp. CBRF14,Penicillium sp. CBRF65 和Alternaria sp. CBSF68为研究对象,分析了Cd、Pb和Zn的初始浓度对其活菌体的生物量、富集率及富集量的影响。研究结果发现,随着重金属初始浓度(试验设置的浓度范围内)的升高,Fusarium sp. CBRF14、Penicillium sp. CBRF65和Alternaria sp. CBSF68对Cd和Zn的富集率呈下降趋势,而对Pb的富集率则存在“先升高再下降”的过程;该3株内生真菌的生物量随着Cd、Pb和Zn初始浓度增加呈下降趋势,而对Cd、Pb和Zn的富集量则不断增加,它们对Cd的最大富集量介于20.5 ~ 53.4 mg·g-1,对Pb的最大富集量介于188.9 ~ 356.6 mg·g-1,对Zn的最大富集量介于28.4 ~ 292.8 mg·g-1。研究结果表明这3株油菜内生真菌可在含重金属液体条件下生长并具有良好的重金属富集能力,其在重金属污染废水的生物修复中具有潜在的应用前景,同时也表明重金属耐性植物内生真菌是获得具重金属富集能力微生物的重要资源库

Abstract: In research [1], the authors investigate the dynamic behaviors of a discrete ecological system. The period-double bifurcations and chaos are found in the system. But no strategy is proposed to control the chaos. It is well known that chaos control is the first step of utilizing chaos. In this paper, a controller is designed to stabilize the chaotic orbits and enable them to be an ideal target one. After that, numerical simulations are presented to show the correctness of theoretical analysis.

In this analysis, the single crystal of schiff base has been synthesized and the purity of material has been increased by repeated recrystallization process. Single crystal was grown by adopting the method growing in a slow evaporation solution using ethanol as solvent at room temperature. A new fluorescent molecule based on Schiff base has been synthesised and its binding properties investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy to show that it can selectively bind Cu2+ with fluorescence quenching.

Mathematical Reasoning of Economic Intervening Principle Based on “Yin Yang Wu Xing” Theory in Traditional Chinese Economics (I)  [PDF]

By using mathematical reasoning, this paper demonstrates the economic intervening principle: “Virtual disease is to fill his mother but real disease is to rush down his son” and “ Strong inhibition of the same time, support the weak” based on “Yin Yang Wu Xing” Theory in Traditional Chinese Economics (TCE). We defined generalized relations and generalized reasoning, introduced the concept of steady multilateral systems with two non-compatibility relations, and discussed its energy properties. Later based on the intervening principle of TCE and treated the economic society as a steady multilateral system, it has been proved that the intervening principle above is true. The kernel of this paper is the existence and reasoning of the non-compatibility relations in steady multilateral systems, and it accords with the oriental thinking model.

Influence Factor Analysis on Strength of Lime-Fly Ash Loess  [PDF]

Abstract: Lime-fly ash loess is composed of fly ash, lime and loess. It is a new material in subgrade backfill. Main factors to influence the strength of lime-fly ash loess are age, amount of fly ash and lime, ratio of fly ash to lime (1:K), and moisture content. In order to observe the effect of each factor influencing the strength of lime-fly ash loess and find out the relationship between each other, this paper adopted orthogonal test design to conduct unconfined compression tests. The result shows that 90d strength can be considered to calculate the strength of lime-fly ash loess in practice. And the most important factor to influence the 90d strength of lime-fly ash loess is the amount of fly ash and lime, the second is moisture content, and then is the ratio of fly ash to lime (1:K). These achievements are significant to the design and application of lime-fly ash loess in subgrade construction of loess areas.
Psychological Characteristics of Entrepreneurship of College Students in China  [PDF]

The study investigated the psychological characteristics of entrepreneurship of 829 college students in Chinaby questionnaire. The psychological characteristics include five aspects: entrepreneurial capacity, entrepreneurial belief, entrepreneurial consciousness, entrepreneurial motivation, and entrepreneurial determination. In the five factors, the entrepreneurial consciousness of college students is the highest, and the other four are almost at the same level. There is significant difference on entrepreneurial belief, consciousness, and motivation in different gender of students. Also there is significant difference on entrepreneurial consciousness in different major students and on entrepreneurial motivation in different degree students. However, the college students only with high entrepreneurial consciousness are not enough to succeed in business. The other four psychological characteristics are not only essential to entrepreneurship, but also necessary to their future professional development. College students should have a lot of preparation and accumulation on the other four psychological characteristics of entrepreneurship, and give much more effort to improve them.
