Method of infrared image enhancement based on regional histogram

Abstract: Histogram equalization is a simple and effective infrared image enhancement techniques,but it leads to missing a lot of the detail informations of the objects.To improve this defect,this paper proposed the infrared image enhancement technique based on regional multi-HE,which could enhance image contrast base on histogram equalization,could enhance images’ details and keep no loss of gray level.This method identified the target sub-regions of the image firstly by using a clustering algorithm.Then,it divided the original histogram into many sub-histograms based on the target sub-regions,and equa-lized the image by utilizing the sub-histograms ensuing.Finally,it enhanced the target sub-regions of the image respectively as the result of this method.Experimental results show that the proposed techniques can effectively restrain the excessive enhancement on background region,at the same time,the method can expand the objects’gray zone as well as enhance the objects’ details.

Abstract: In this paper, a new type of resonant Brewster filter (RBF) consisting of two homogenous layers and a single grating with an equal refractive index is presented. The properties are studied by using the plane waveguide method (PWM) and rigorous coupled-wave analysis (RCWA). It is found that the variation of the grating thickness does not effectively change the position of the resonant wavelength, however it has a remarkable effect on the line width, and the resonant peak can be adjusted back to its original position by slightly tuning the grating period. Moreover, by simultaneously tuning the thicknesses of the homogeneous layers above and beneath the grating structure, multiple channels can also be obtained when the RBF is illuminated at the Brewster angle calculated with the effective medium theory (EMT) of subwavelength grating. The adjacent optical thickness for acquiring the multiple channels is about three-quarters of the resonant wavelength. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that the line width at the operating resonant wavelength can be appreciably narrowed by tuning the thickness of the homogenous layer to its corresponding thickness without fine tuning the grating period or the thickness. Therefore, it is very useful for designing filters with different line widths at the desired wavelength. In addition, it is shown from our calculations that the symmetrical line feather can be obtained if the total optical thickness for the homogeneous layer meets the special condition.

Abstract: The paper proposes an algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and intuitionistic fuzzy sets theory. It fuses multiple different neural networks and applies it to the comprehensive assessment of battlefield target damage effect. It adopts PSO algorithm to improve and optimize multiple neural networks of different structure, then confirms the weights of different neural networks, and synthesizes their assessment results as the final output result according to the weight. Apply the algorithm to instance simulation, the result shows its validity and rationality. .

Abstract: Foreign-body ingestion is a relatively common presentation at emergency departments, but long metallic spoon swallowing is an infrequent occurrence. Unlike most cases of foreign-body ingestion, there have been no reported cases of long foreign bodies reaching the jejunum. We report a rare case of a coffee spoon that was swallowed accidentally and passed through the pylorus and duodenal loop and reached the jejunum, with no complications.

Abstract: This study evaluated the effect of selenium-enriched fermentation mycelia of C. comatus (SMCC) on reducing oxidative stress and hyperglycemia in alloxan-induced diabetic mice. After induction of diabetes, a significant increase of the levels of blood glucose and lipid peroxidation associated with the diminution of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) was observed in all diabetic mice. Treatment of diabetic mice with SMCC for 21 days resulted in a significant reduction in blood glucose and the injuries of pancreas. In addition, a significant increase in the activities of SOD and GSH-Px and a significant decrease in the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) were observed in serum, liver and kidney. The results showed that SMCC might be able to inhibit hyperglycemia, and helpful in the prevention of diabetic complications associated with oxidative damage. It is concluded that SMCC possesses potent antioxidant activity, which may be directly or indirectly responsible for inhibiting hyperglycemia of alloxan-induced diabetic mice.

Abstract: From common consolidation tests,a new oedometer which can measure the pore pressure from the bottom of specimen is employed. A phenomenon is found that the pore pressure in the specimen inclines to delay. Compared curves of the pore pressure and the displacement,it can be concluded that around the appearance of the of peak value pore pressure,the displacement curve finds its first turn. When the pore pressure reaches its total dissipation,the displacement curve finds its second turn. Because the pore pressure has strong relationship with the displacement,research work is carried out to reveal the cause of the delay. With further experiments under various conditions,it can be found that the side friction and the degree of saturation have strong influences on the delay of pore pressure in the specimen. So the delay rance of pore pressure should be considered in determining the consolidation coefficient,and at last,the measuring relative methods are discussed.

Abstract: 吸取不同围岩分类方法的科学实质,通过研究样本分布特征把不同分类方法统一起来,使分类的统计规律、聚类规律与样本分布特征协调一致,提高分类的可靠性。结合平顶山矿区煤巷赋存条件,取地压系数、围岩松动圈和节理发育程度3个指标,对平顶山矿区煤巷围岩稳定性进行综合分类,并以分类图直观表达了样本及样本分布规律,简化分类方法。提出围岩稳定性综合分类方法,研究矿区煤巷稳定性变化规律,得到评价围岩稳定性的统计判据,并根据巷道条件及实测信息评价巷道稳定程度,绘制出多指标围岩分类图。
