Usability Evaluation of Independent-Sales B2C Fashion Website Based on Consumer’s Perspective  [PDF]

Abstract:

Based on consumer’s perspective, according to Microsoft Usability Guidelines (MUG), evaluation system of independent-sales B2C fashion website usability was established. Six independent-sales B2C fashion websites were selected to be tested. The questionnaire results were analyzed by gray correlation analysis, two-step cluster analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis, leading to a usability classification and characteristic description, which indicated the quality of usability of the selected fashion websites.

The origin of the vertebrate jaw: Intersection between developmental biology-based model and fossil evidence

Abstract: The origin of the vertebrate jaw has been reviewed based on the molecular, developmental and paleontological evidences. Advances in developmental genetics have accumulated to propose the heterotopy theory of jaw evolution, i.e. the jaw evolved as a novelty through a heterotopic shift of mesenchyme-epithelial interaction. According to this theory, the disassociation of the nasohypophyseal complex is a fundamental prerequisite for the origin of the jaw, since the median position of the nasohypophyseal placode in cyclostome head development precludes the forward growth of the neural-crest-derived craniofacial ectomesenchyme. The potential impacts of this disassociation on the origin of the diplorhiny are also discussed from the molecular perspectives. Thus far, our study on the cranial anatomy of galeaspids, a 435-370-million-year-old ‘ostracoderm’ group from China and northern Vietnam, has provided the earliest fossil evidence for the disassociation of nasohypophyseal complex in vertebrate phylogeny. Using Synchrotron Radiation X-ray Tomography, we further show some derivative structures of the trabeculae (e.g. orbitonasal lamina, ethmoid plate) in jawless galeaspids, which provide new insights into the reorganization of the vertebrate head before the evolutionary origin of the jaw. These anatomical observations based on new techniques highlight the possibility that galeaspids are, in many respects, a better proxy than osteostracans for reconstructing the pre-gnathostome condition of the rostral part of the braincase. The cranial anatomy of galeaspids reveals a number of derived characters uniquely shared with gnathostomes. This raises the potential possibility that galeaspids might be the closest jawless relatives of jawed vertebrates. Our study provides an intriguing example of intersection between developmental biology-based model and fossil evidence.

Abstract: The kinetic characteristics of the ion confined in a MMFM operation point of a combined trap were compared with that in a non-MMFM point by numerical simulation both for the ion produced within a combined trap or injected from an external source into the trap. It turns out that the MMFM working point can provide better trapping condition for the ions with stronger localization and higher stability.

Abstract: Teacher talk is the major resources of comprehensible target language input learners are likely to receive in the foreign language classroom teaching. The current study, based on class videotapes of four college English teachers and questionnaires, attempted to investigate and analyze the phenomenon of teacher talk time, questioning pattern, and feedback pattern. The findings showed that although communicative approach and classroom interaction are highly advocated and adopted, one-way communication still dominants class teaching and learning in college English classroom in University of Jinan, class activities are still lack of real communication information. Efforts should be made in the future to enhance teachers’ awareness in this respect and relevant training and evaluation should also be organized.

Abstract: In this article we study the initial-value problem for the periodic two-component b-family system, including a special case, when b = 2, which is referred to as the two-component Dullin-Gottwald-Holm (DGH) system. We first show that the two-component b-family system can be derived from the theory of shallow-water waves moving over a linear shear flow. Then we establish several results of blow-up solutions corresponding to only wave breaking with certain initial profiles for the periodic two-component DGH system. Moreover, we determine the exact blow-up rate and lower bound of the lifespan for the system. Finally, we give a sufficient condition for the existence of the strong global solution to the periodic two-component DGH system.

Abstract: We prove strictly that one dimension spin 1/2 Heisenberg model has a symmetry of energy spectrum between its subspace $n$ and the subspace $L-n$ of the Fock space. Our proof is completed by introducing two general quantum operations. One is a flip operation of spin direction and another is a mirror reflection of spin sites.

Granular association rules for multi-valued data

Abstract: Granular association rule is a new approach to reveal patterns hide in many-to-many relationships of relational databases. Different types of data such as nominal, numeric and multi-valued ones should be dealt with in the process of rule mining. In this paper, we study multi-valued data and develop techniques to filter out strong however uninteresting rules. An example of such rule might be "male students rate movies released in 1990s that are NOT thriller." This kind of rules, called negative granular association rules, often overwhelms positive ones which are more useful. To address this issue, we filter out negative granules such as "NOT thriller" in the process of granule generation. In this way, only positive granular association rules are generated and strong ones are mined. Experimental results on the movielens data set indicate that most rules are negative, and our technique is effective to filter them out.
