Abstract: The flow and thermal fields within the infrared signature suppression(IRSS) device of a marine gas turbine exhaust system were investigated numerically. For the conjugate heat transfer within the device, an integrated solution method was adopted. The discretion equation was derived for the control volume with conjugate heat transfer at its interface, with the radiation heat flux at the interface appearing as an additional source term. The solution method of velocities at the entrance of secondary flow was presented. The numerical results agreed well with corresponding experimental data, which are the basis of the prediction of infrared radiation distribution of a marine gas turbine exhaust system.

PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases , 2009, DOI: 10.1371/journal.pntd.0000520
Abstract: Background Several angiostrongyliasis outbreaks have been reported in recent years but the disease continues to be neglected in public health circles. We describe an outbreak in Dali, southwest China in order to highlight some key problems for the control of this helminth infection. Methodology/Principal Findings All available medical records of suspected angiostrongyliasis patients visiting hospitals in Dali in the period 1 October 2007–31 March 2008 were reviewed, and tentative diagnoses of varying strengths were reached according to given sets of criteria. Snails collected from local markets, restaurants and natural habitats were also screened for the presence of Angiostrongylus cantonensis. A total of 33 patients met criteria for infection, and 11 among them were classified as clinically confirmed. An additional eight patients were identified through a surveillance system put in operation in response to the outbreak. The epidemic lasted for 8 months with its peak in February 2008. Of the 33 patients, 97.0% complained of severe headache. 84.8% patients had high eosinophil cell counts either in the peripheral blood or in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Three-quarters of the patients were treated with a combination of albendazole and corticosteroids, resulting in significantly improved overall conditions. Twenty-two patients reported the consumption of raw or undercooked snails prior to the onset of the symptoms, and approximately 1.0% of the Pomacea canaliculata snails on sale were found to be infected with A. cantonensis. The snails were also found in certain habitats around Dali but no parasites were detected in these populations. Conclusions/Significance The import and sale of infected P. canaliculata is the likely trigger for this angiostrongyliasis outbreak. Awareness of angiostrongyliasis must be raised, and standardized diagnosis and treatment are needed in order to provide clinicians with a guide to address this disease. Health education campaigns could limit the risk, and a hospital-based surveillance system should be established in order to detect future outbreaks.
The Relationship Between the Adjusting Earnings Per Share and the Market Quality Indexes of the Listed Company
Xiang-li LI,Shao-rong SUN
Management Science and Engineering , 2010,
Abstract: The adjusting earnings per share can be more directly reflect the list companies the main business income’s net profit. Selected the independent variables by the stepwise method in the 11 market quality indexes by the Shanghai Stock Exchange 100 listed companies samples, and established the multiple linear regression model among the relative effective spread, the liquidity index as the independent variables and the adjusting earning per share as a dependent variable. The linear relationship was significant and the residual random variable distribution was the normal distribution and the variance homogeneity assumption was established. Keywords: the adjusting earnings per share; the relative effective spread; the liquidity index; the multiple linear regression; the market quality indexes
The Relationship between the Factors of the Ownership Structure and the Earnings Per Share
Xiang-li LI,Shao-rong SUN
International Business and Management , 2010,
Abstract: The 100 listed companies were selected randomly in 2008 in the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The two linear independent factor 1 and factor 2 were extracted through analyzing the top ten shareholders of the 100 listed companies. At the same time the 100 listed companies two factors scores o were computed. The two factors were divided into the larger classes and the smaller classes according to the two factors scores order. The earnings per share were divided into the larger class and the smaller class in accordance with the earnings per share rank. The log-linear model was established by the two factors as the independent variables and the earnings per share as the dependent variable. Finally three variables were done as the single factor multivariate covariance analysis. The factor 1 was significant on the earnings per share. But the factor 2 and the interaction of the rank factor1 and the factor 2 were not significant on the earnings per share. Key words: the log-linear model; the covariance analysis; the ownership structure; the factor; the earnings per share

Diagnostic Pathology , 2012, DOI: 10.1186/1746-1596-7-55
Abstract: Seventy eyes of 35 consecutive refractive surgery candidates were included in this study. The mean age of the subjects was 26.42?±?6.95?years, the average CA was ?1.17 diopters (D; SD 0.64; range ?0.2 to-3.3D), All subjects in this study were WTR CA. 34 eyes were in the normal CA group with a mean CA was ?0.67?±?0.28D, 36 eyes were in the high CA group with an average CA of ?1.65?±?0.49D. All subjects underwent ophthalmic examination and imaging with the Cirrus HD OCT.No significant difference was noted in the average cup-to-disk ratio, vertical cup-to-disk ratio and cup volume (all P values?>?0.05). Compared with the normal CA group, the high CA group had a larger disc area and rim area, thinner RNFL thickness in the temporal quadrant, and the superotemporal and inferotemporal peaks were farther to the temporal horizon (All P values?<?0.05). There were no significant differences between the two groups in global average RNFL thickness, as well as superior, nasal and inferior quadrant RNFL thickness (all P values?>?0.05).The degree of with-the-rule CA should be considered when interpreting ONH parameters and peripapillary RNFL thickness measured by the Cirrus HD OCT.The virtual slide(s) for this article can be found here: http://www.diagnosticpathology.diagnomx.eu/vs/1148475676881895 webciteAstigmatism is a worldwide common ocular disorder. Total astigmatism is mainly driven by corneal astigmatism(CA), which occurs due to an irregular shape of the cornea. In eyes with astigmatism, retinal images can be distorted. Langenbucher et al. [1] reported that the retinal image was distorted to an ellipse, and the image size could vary according to the axis of astigmatism assessed with computer-based methodology in astigmatic eyes.Optical coherence tomography (OCT) can provide imaging of ocular structures by a noninvasive method, It is widely used in clinical and scientific ophthalmology to obtain high-resolution cross-sections of the retina images. The thickness of the retina

Abstract: This paper analyzes equivalence checking methods of combinational circuits based on binary decision diagram. The methods to structure the BDDs of outputs are discussed, and two different kinds of algorithms dealing with the boolean operations between BDDs are discussed. Then we present a equivalence method for verifying the combinational circuits based on BDD.
Tabu Search Technique for Solving the Routing Problem

WANG Dong-Ping LI Shao-Rong,

计算机科学 , 2003,
Abstract: Routing problem is a very import problem in the network design. However, with the increasing of the number of vertices, the convergence speed of the conventional method (such as the Dijkstra algorithm) becomes slow. In some services, the accurate shortest path isn't requested. This paper presents a new algorithm for solving this problem based on the tabu search technique. The tabu search algorithm can get the satisfied path with the changing of the iteration times, the tabu period and neighborhood size. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method is very efficient for computing the shorted path, especially when the scale of the network is large.
Fuzzy Tabu Search for Solving the Assignment Problem

WANG Dong-Ping LI Shao-Rong,

计算机科学 , 2003,
Abstract: A fuzzy tabu search method is presented in this paper for solving the assignment problem. The proposed fuzzy tabu search technique uses a fuzzy method in the determination of the tabu period and the selection of the neighborhood. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.
