A Practical Approach to Management of Chronic Hepatitis B

Abstract: Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) is one of the important public health problems worldwide. Major advances have been made in the treatment of CHB during the past several years. This article systemically reviews advances in the application of HBV DNA quantitation and three approved drugs for HBV treatment, and presents an updated and practical clinical approach to managing CHB. Highly sensitive PCR-based quantitation of HBV DNA makes it possible to precisely determine pre-treatment HBV load and monitor HBV DNA response during treatment. HBV DNA level, HBeAg status, degree of hepatic histological activity and fibrosis, and serum transaminases are the most important parameters in determining indication, regimen, and duration of HBV treatment. Although interferon alfa-2b, lamivudine, and adefovir are all approved as initial HBV treatment, understanding the advantages and advantages of each agent is important in choosing the best treatment for each individual patient with CHB.

Abstract: We use lattice gas automation to simulate the electrical transport properties of saturated rocks by computer with different water saturation and porosity, grain shape of matrix. The result shows the nature of non-Archie relation between resistivity index and water saturation. Saturation exponent n is not a constant as the traditional idea expected but a function of water saturation and porosity. It is a reflection of complexity-change rate of conductive path with water saturation. A new method is presented in this paper to calculate water saturation. The high efficiency of this method can be proved by comparing calculated result with rock experiments in field application.

Abstract: 本文应用 2_D格子气自动机模拟饱和油水两相的多孔介质的导电特性 .在油水两相界面处 ,引入反射与透射系数来决定粒子的运动状态 ,通过调节反射与透射系数就可以改变油水两相的导电性差异 .用模拟结果考察Archie公式的地层因素F =Ro Rw 和电阻率增大系数I=Rt Ro,其中 ,Ro 为百分之百饱和水时的岩石电阻率 ,Rw为水的电阻率 ,Rt 为不同流体饱和度时的岩石电阻率 .结果表明F与孔隙度 φ间 ,I与含水饱和度间都存在幂关系 ,并可以表示为F =aφ-m ,I=bS-nw 模拟结果同时证实 :公式中的参数a、m的变化反映了孔隙微观结构的变化 ,参数b、n主要受孔隙度大小和油相分布状态的影响 .
Isolation and Characterization of a Novel Endoglucanase from a Bursaphelenchus xylophilus Metagenomic Library

Abstract: A novel gene (designated as cen219) encoding endoglucanase was isolated from a Bursaphelenchus xylophilus metagenomic library by functional screening. Sequence analysis revealed that cen219 encoded a protein of 367 amino acids. SDS-PAGE analysis of purified endoglucanase suggested that Cen219 was a monomeric enzyme with a molecular mass of 40 kDa. The optimum temperature and pH for endoglucanase activity of Cen219 was separately 50°C and 6.0. It was stable from 30 to 50°C, and from pH 4.0 to 7.0. The activity was significantly enhanced by Mn2+ and dramatically reduced by detergent SDS and metals Fe3+, Cu2+ or Hg2+. The enzyme hydrolyzed a wide range of β-1, 3-, and β-1, 4-linked polysaccharides, with varying activities. Activities towards microcrystalline cellulose and filter paper were relatively high, while the highest activity was towards oat gum. The Km and Vmax of Cen219 towards CMC was 17.37 mg/ml and 333.33 U/mg, respectively. The findings have an insight into understanding the molecular basis of host–parasite interactions in B. xylophilus species. The properties also make Cen219 an interesting enzyme for biotechnological application.

Abstract: Tris(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminium doped poly-methyl-methacrylate (PMMA:Alq3) composite nanofibres are fabricated by electrospinning. The morphology of fibres is characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The photoluminescence of a series of the nanofibres with various contents of Alq3 to PMMA is investigated. UV-visible absorption and the PL spectra analysis are employed to analyse the interaction between the polymer and the luminescent molecule.
The simulation of conductivity of binary mixtures with lattices Boltzmann method

Abstract: The Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) is employed to simulate the conductivity of binary mixtures. The conductivity is affected by the conductivity of each component, volume fraction and structure of mixtures. The simulated results of conductivity for the binary mixtures in the serial and parallel modes are in agreement with the analytical solution to show the reliable of the LBM. The conductivity of the models with a random distribution of inclusion, obtained by the LBM, falls into the area predicted by H-S theory. The LBM is believed to be an efficient way to investigate the conductivity and the dielectric constant for the agreement between the simulation of the conductivity of Al-Bi alloy, the dielectric constant of saturated rock and laboratory experiments of them.
The Use of Anycast Routing for Building Efficient Relay Routing System

Abstract: Relay routing system consists of a set of relay routers, providing relay routing for routing domains that cannot exchange routing information. The key point of the system is to configure appropriate relay router for routing domains. In this paper, all the relay routers are taken as a virtual node by assigning them an anycast address which is accessed along the shortest path by anycast routing. In addition, source routing is used to route the data packets to relay router. The anycast-based relay routing system enables auto-configuration of relay routing,improves the performance and the reliability of relay routing, and it is compatible with existing network infrastructure with quite low overhead.

The Effect of Soil Moisture Upon Net Photosynthetic Rate of the Goldspur apple Tree

Abstract: 通过对 7年生田间和 2年生盆栽金矮生苹果 ( Maluspumila CV.goldspur)进行不同土壤水分和光照条件下叶片光合速率测定研究 ,结果表明 ,光合速率 ( Pn)与光照强度 ( PAR)和土壤水分 ( SWC)之间存在着密切的关系。当林木供水充足 ,即 SWC( >1 5 % )达到田间持水量 ( FC)的 75 %以上时 ,Pn的光响应曲线为直角双曲线 ,但 SWC低于这一水平时 ,Pn的光响应曲线则为二次抛物线 ,表现出不同程度的光抑制 ,水分胁迫越严重 ,出现光抑制越早。弱光下 ( PAR<5 0 0 μmol· s- 1· m- 2 ) ,光合速率最大值 Pmax出现在 SWC比较低的范围内 ( 70 %~ 75 % FC) ,如果 SWC继续增大时 ,Pn反而下降 ;随着光强的增大 ,Pmax出现的 SWC水平随之提高。金矮生苹果 Pn的日变化规律在不同 SWC下并不相同 ,水分胁迫存在时 ,Pn的日变化表现出“午休”现象 ,水分胁迫越严重 ,“午休”时间越长 ;水分供应充足时 ,Pn从 1 0∶ 0 0的最大值直线下降 ,下午不再回升。轻度水分胁迫时 ,Pn日平均值接近或达到最大值 ;随着 SWC的提高 Pn日平均值反而有下降趋势。在正常光照条件下 (日均值 80 0~ 1 0 0 0μmol· s- 1· m- 2 ) ,当林木处于严重水分胁迫 ,即 SWC低于 FC的 5 5 %时 ,Pn随土壤水分的增加直线上升 ;当土壤水分供应充足 ( SWC>75 % F
