Centrosome Functions as a Molecular Dynamo in the Living Cell  [PDF]
Yue Zhao
Advances in Bioscience and Biotechnology (ABB) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/abb.2015.67045
Abstract: Recent development in the field of quantum biology highlights that the intracellular electromagnetic field (EMF) of microtubules plays an important role in many fundamental cellular processes such as mitosis. Here I propose an intriguing hypothesis that centrosome functions as molecular dynamo to generate electric flow over the microtubules, leading to the electric excitation of microtubule EMF that is required for spindle body microtubule self-assembly. With the help of motors proteins within the centrosome, centrosome transforms the energy from ATP into intracellular EMF in the living cell that shapes the functions of microtubules. There will be a general impact for the cell biology field to understand the mechanistic function of centrosome for the first time in correlation with its structural features. This hypothesis can be tested with technics such as super resolution live cell microscope.
Research of Lightweight Composite Automobile Wheel  [PDF]
Yue Bao, Xiaoyu Zhao
World Journal of Engineering and Technology (WJET) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/wjet.2017.54056
Abstract: Composite materials are widely used in automobiles because of their small proportion, large modulus and high strength. In this paper, carbon fiber-epoxy (T300/5222) composite material is used to design the composite automobile wheel hub according to the general principle of laminated plate design. And the hub layer is finished with hypermesh 14.0. The stress and strain of the hub can be analyzed by Hyperworks14.0 according to the three kinds of conditions. Then the maximum stress layer?is found?out and the strength?is?checked. The composite wheel hub is compared with the same aluminum alloy hub. The results showed that composite materials of hub can be achieved in hub strength requirements. Because its ultimate stress is bigger than Aluminum Alloy of hub, obviously the strength of composite hub is higher than the Aluminum Alloy of hub. Because of the smaller strain, the impact of performance is better. The composite wheel hub reduces?the weight of 11.3%.
The Effect of Job Autonomy on Psychological Well-Being: The Mediating Role of Personal Initiative  [PDF]

Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2018.611017
Abstract: Employees’ psychological well-being is an important factor affecting organizational performance. Thus, through empirical study, the present article investigates the influence of employees’ job autonomy on their psychological well-being. Specifically, personal initiative will mediate this relationship. To examine a series of hypotheses we developed, online survey was used to collect data. Finally, 380 respondents were accepted. Empirical data showed that employees’ job autonomy is positively related to psychological well-being. Namely, the psychological well-being of employees will gain dramatic improvement when they possess high job autonomy. In addition, through the way of path analysis, we revealed that personal initiative plays a role of intermediary mechanism in the relationship between job autonomy and psychological well-being. In last part, we discussed the contribution, limitations, and the directions of future research.
Your Health, My Happiness: Optimism and Socioeconomic Status as Moderators between Spousal Health and Life Satisfaction among the Elderly  [PDF]
Yue Zhao, Liangmu Wu
Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2018.612012
Abstract: This study aims to investigate the relationship between spousal health and life satisfaction among the elderly as well as the boundary conditions of this relationship. We use a subsample (N = 3532) from the 2011-2012 Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS). The results show that spousal health is positively related to an individual’s life satisfaction. This relationship is stronger when one is pessimistic than when he or she is optimistic. In addition, there is a three-way interaction between elderly people’s socioeconomic status (SES), their optimism, and their spouse’s health so that when optimism is low rather than high, the moderating effect of SES on the relationship between spousal health and life satisfaction is stronger. The theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
The Analysis of Trade Policy Formulation From the Benefit of Producer and Consumer
Yue Zhao
International Journal of Business and Management , 2009, DOI: 10.5539/ijbm.v3n9p62
Abstract: The implementation of a trade policy will have different effects on the different interest groups. The benefits of producer and consumer are often opposite. In order to look out an appropriate trade policy, we should balance the benefits of producer and consumer when we formulate trade policy.
Entropic force and its fluctuation in Euclidian quantum gravity
Yue Zhao
Physics , 2010, DOI: 10.1142/S0217751X11052967
Abstract: In this paper, we study the idea about gravity as entropic force proposed by Verlinde. By applying the identification between partition functions of gravity theory and the dual field theory, we find the gravitational force can be calculated from the changing of entropy induced from its dual field theory side. Unlike Verlinde's calculation, our method does not depend on other assumptions such as equipartition of energy, so it is a safe check on the entropic force idea. Also we show how entropic force can be derived by similar method from gravity side along, which will provide a clue to a better understanding on the gauge/gravity duality. At last, we study the fluctuation of the force, and we find the fluctuation acting on the point-like particle can never be larger than the expectation value of the force. For black hole in AdS space, by gauge/gravity duality, the fluctuation is induced by thermal fluctuation from field theory living on conformal boundary. And for the metric of black hole in flat space, the ratio between fluctuation and force goes to a constant$\frac{T}{m}$ at infinity. .
Cardioprotective effects of tea and its catechins  [PDF]
Nana Li, Yue Zhao, Yuerong Liang
Health (Health) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/health.2013.54A004

Tea is rich in polyphenolic catechins which are beneficial to health. There have been evidences suggesting that habitual tea consumption may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Intake of tea or catechins isolated from tea was shown to inhibit the development of CVD in population studies and in animal models. Many possible pathways and mechanisms were investigated. There have been evidences showing that tea and tea catechins reduced the risk of CVD by enhancing antioxidant activity, attenuating metabolic syndrome, inhibiting angiotensin converting enzyme, improving endothelial dys-function, preventing cardiac hypertrophy and protecting mitochondria from damage.

The Impact of Electronic Banking on the Credit Risk of Commercial Banks
—An Empirical Study Based on KMV Model

Zheng Zhao, Yue Lan, Xiaoyu Wu
Journal of Mathematical Finance (JMF) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jmf.2016.65054
Abstract: Due to the birth of the age of Big Data and the development of Internet finance, electronic banking has been booming. With the application of descriptive statistics, KMV model, panel data regression and robustness testing, this paper examines the validity of KMV model as a measurement of the credit risk of financial institutions, and reveals the impact of electronic banking on the credit risk of commercial banks. The findings are as follows: First, the default distance based on the KMV model can well reflect the credit risk of banks; Second, the growing electronic banking may increase the credit risk, considering the lack of governmental and industrial regulation; At last, the credit risk of banks under different systems have their unique characteristics, so that a clearly defined division of responsibilities for risk control and supervision is needed.

Chinese Studies (ChnStd) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/chnstd.2012.11001
Abstract: The dual land market has greatly encouraged the economy and urban development and created far-reaching effects on excessive land expropriation and land finance. Using an analytical framework of dual market structure model, this paper investigates the relationship between local land finance and China’s rapid urbanization. Low-cost land expropriation is the main reason why extensive urbanization goes so fast in recent China. Granting farmers the complete land rights, implementing property tax to consolidate local tax bases, unifying the dual land market are helpful to achieve both social equity and land use efficiency in Chinese rapid urbanization process.
