The antinociceptive role of central arginine vasopressin is involved in the endogenous opiate peptide, serotonin and acetylcholine systems  [PDF]

Abstract: Our previous work has demonstrated that arginine vasopressin (AVP) plays a role in pain modulation. The present study investigated which kinds of neuropeptides and neurotransmitters in central nervous system might be involved in AVP antinociceptive role in the rat. The results showed that (1) intraventricular injection (icv) of V1 receptor antagonist [d(CH2)5Tyr(Me)AVP] and V2 receptor antagonist [d(CH2)5[D-Ile2, Ile4, Ala9-NH2]AVP] blocked the antinociceptive effect induced by AVP (icv), (2) the opiate recaptor antagonist (naloxone) reversed the antinociceptive effect induced by AVP (icv), and (3) both the serotonin receptor antagonist (cypoheptadine) and M receptor antagonist (atropine) could attenuate the antinociceptive effect induced by AVP (icv); but (4) oxytocin, dopamine, N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA), γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), N, α or β receptor antagonist did not influence the antinociceptive effect induced by AVP (icv). The data suggested that AVP antinociceptive role was involved in the endogenous opiate peptide, serotonin and acetylcholine systems in central nervous system.

Abstract: 在不同频率和偏置电场下测量了BaTiO3晶体从三方相到正交相再到四方相相变过程中的介电温谱.基于BaTiO3晶体在电场作用下的偶极子偏转假设和介电特性实验结果,提出BaTiO3各结构相在电场作用下的偶极子偏转路径可以由其相邻相的介电常数随温度的变化特性表现出来.推断出各结构相的偶极子偏转路径,以及偏置电场对偶极子偏转路径的影响.

Abstract: 模拟了0.7Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.3PbTiO3(PMN-0.3PT)单晶1-3型压电复合材料的性能与单晶体积分数的关系,得出性能最优时压电相的体积分数为64%, 在这一体积分数下,采用切割-填充法,并使用了不同类型的环氧树脂填充制备复合材料.系统地研究了聚合物相对复合材料性能的影响,研究表明,减小聚合物相的刚度系数c和密度ρ有利于提高复合材料的性能,且聚合物相与压电相的结合强度对性能的影响非常明显,制备的PMN-0.3 PT单晶1-3型复合材料的厚度伸缩机电耦合系数kt高达90.1%,压电系数d33大于1000pC/N,机械品质因数Qm为10.39,声阻抗Z也大大降低,性能明显优于传统的Pb(ZrxTi1-x)O3(PZT)陶瓷及其1-3复合材料,在压电换能器和传感器中显示出广阔的前景.

Abstract: Refractive indices and extinction coefficients of 0.92Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.08PbTiO3(PMN-0.08PT) single crystal are investigated by variable angle spectroscopic ellipsometry (VASE) at different wavelengths. The parameters relative to the energy band structure are obtained by fitting to the single-oscillator dispersion equation, and the band gap energy is also deduced from the Tauc equation. Similar to most oxygen-octahedra ferroelectrics, PMN-0.08PT has the same dispersion behavior described by the refractive-index dispersion parameters.

Abstract: 研究了开放式车辆路径问题,该问题中车辆在服务完最后一个顾客点后不需要回到车场,若要求回到车场,则必须沿原路返回.提出了一种混合蚁群优化算法,该算法主体是一个在超立方框架下执行的MAX-MIN蚂蚁系统,算法混合了禁忌搜索算法作为局部优化算法,同时算法集成了一个后优化过程来进一步优化最优解.基于标准测试问题,最后给出了算法同文献中其它算法的性能比较结果,计算结果表明本文提出的算法是一个有效的求解开放式车辆路径问题的方法.

Abstract: The standard chemotherapy for Chinese elderly patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains undefined. The study was to evaluate the therapeutic effects as well as side effects of pemetrexed plus carboplatin regimen as the first-line therapy for Chinese elderly patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma. Twenty-three Chinese elderly patients (male 14 and female 9, average age 73.7 years, range 70~81 years) with advanced lung adenocarcinoma received pemetrexed plus carboplatin as the first-line therapy, in detail, pemetrexed 500 mg/m2 and carboplatin AUC 5 mg/ml/m2 were given intravenously on day 1. The treatment was repeated everyday in the 21 days cycle. Therapeutic effects were evaluated at least after two cycles of treatment. The remission rate, disease control rate, time to progression and overall survival were observed. The results showed that all the cases were valid for response evaluation, with the complete remission 0 case, partial remission 8 cases, stabilize disease 9 cases and progression disease 6 cases. The remission rate (including complete remission and partial remission) was 34.8%, disease control rate 73.9%, the time to progression was 5.8 months and the overall survival 13.7 months. There showed the positive relationship between the curative effects (either time to progression or overall survival) and chemotherapy cycles. The main toxicities were bone marrow suppression, nausea and vomiting. There was no chemotherapy-related death. The data suggested that the combination regimen with pemetrexed plus carboplatin is an active and tolerable treatment plan for Chinese elderly patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma, in which the side effects were tolerable and manageable.
Grapefruit Fiber Filled with Silver Nanowires Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor in Aqueous Environments

Abstract: A kind of surface plasmon resonance sensor based on grapefruit photonic crystal fiber (PCF) filled with different numbers of silver nanowires has been studied in this paper. The surface plasmon resonance modes and the sensing properties are investigated comprehensively using the finite element method (FEM). The simulation results show that the intensity sensitivity is related to nanowire numbers and the distance between two nanowires. The optimum value obtained is 2,400 nm/RIU, corresponding to a resolution of 4.51 × 10?5 RIU with a maximum distance of 2 μm. To a certain extent, the PCF filled with more nanowires is better than with just one. Furthermore, the air holes of grapefruit PCF are large enough to operate in practice. Moreover, the irregularity of the filled nanowires has no effect on sensitivity, which will be very convenient for the implementation of experiments.
