Abstract: 以水玻璃和盐酸为原料,采用化学沉淀法制备出多孔型、高比表面积、超细SiO2,用BET、XRD、SEM、DTA-TGA等手段对其性能进行了表征,结果表明,所制得的多孔型SiO2经表面积可达1000m^2/g以上,孔分布均匀,粒径小,具有许多特殊的性能。

Abstract: ZnO nanocrystalline sensitive materials of doped Sb3+ were prepared by citrate method. The effect of doped Sb3+ on construction and dielectric property of ZnO nanocrystalline were studied. The most favourable experiment condition for the preparation of ZnO nanocrystalline of doped Sb3+ were studied. XRD, IR, TG, DTA and TEM examinations were used to characterize the samples.It is observed that Sb3+ content is increased, and lattice constant and volume conductance of ZnO nanocrystalline are changed.

Abstract: anocrystalline ZnFe2O4 have been prepared by the PEG gel method and their structure and magnetic properties were examined by the X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy. It was shown that prepared samples have a single-sprinel structure and are spheric which particel sizes are 10.0, 12.2, 27.5 and 44.0 nm. The experimental results have shown the particle size increases with the calcining temperature and time. Densities of samples reduces with particle size decreasing at 1.0 GPa. Magnetic properties were measured by magnetic balance. It was found that ZnFe2O4 nanocrystal is magnetic at room temperature. It's magnetisability decreases and magnetization increases with magnetic intensity increasing. The IR spectra of the samples broadened and splited variously.

Abstract: The ZnS:Mn nanocrystalline powder and sol were prepared by the coprecipitation method.The excitation and luminous spectra of samples were measured by fluorescent divide spectroscopy(FDS).The optical properties and the luminescent sites of the samples were discussed.It is shown that the luminescent sites of the ZnS:Mn nanocrystalline powder and sol are different from that of the bulk.
Quantum Griffiths Singularities in the Transverse-Field Ising Spin Glass

Abstract: We report a Monte Carlo study of the effects of {\it fluctuations} in the bond distribution of Ising spin glasses in a transverse magnetic field, in the {\it paramagnetic phase} in the $T\to 0$ limit. Rare, strong fluctuations give rise to Griffiths singularities, which can dominate the zero-temperature behavior of these quantum systems, as originally demonstrated by McCoy for one-dimensional ($d=1$) systems. Our simulations are done on a square lattice in $d=2$ and a cubic lattice in $d=3$, for a gaussian distribution of nearest neighbor (only) bonds. In $d=2$, where the {\it linear} susceptibility was found to diverge at the critical transverse field strength $\Gamma_c$ for the order-disorder phase transition at T=0, the average {\it nonlinear} susceptibility $\chi_{nl}$ diverges in the paramagnetic phase for $\Gamma$ well above $\Gamma_c$, as is also demonstrated in the accompanying paper by Rieger and Young. In $d=3$, the linear susceptibility remains finite at $\Gamma_c$, and while Griffiths singularity effects are certainly observable in the paramagnetic phase, the nonlinear susceptibility appears to diverge only rather close to $\Gamma_c$. These results show that Griffiths singularities remain persistent in dimensions above one (where they are known to be strong), though their magnitude decreases monotonically with increasing dimensionality (there being no Griffiths singularities in the limit of infinite dimensionality).

Abstract: A maximum a posteriori (MAP) algorithm is proposed to improve the accuracy of super resolution (SR) reconstruction in traditional methods. The algorithm applies both joints image registration and SR reconstruction in the framework, but separates them in the process of iteratiion.Firstly, we estimate the shifting parameters through two low resolution (LR) images and use the parameters to reconstruct initial HR images. Then, we update the shifting parameters using HR images. The aforementioned steps are repeated until the ideal HR images are obtained.The metrics such as PSNR and SSIM are used to fully evaluate the quality of the reconstructed image. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method can enhance image resolution efficiently.

Abstract:
There is a growing research interest in the topic of work engagement over the past years. In reference to Schauefeli, Salanova, Gonzalez-Roma & Bakker (2002) [1], work engagement is described as “a positive, fulfilling work-related state of mind that is characterized by vigor, dedication and absorption”. As compare to the researches based on the relationship between work engagement and organizational commitment and job performance, the existing researches on the relationship between work engagement and turnover intentions are far fewer. We theoretically discussed the relationship among work engagement, affective commitment and turnover intentions. Research results show that work engagement is negatively related to turnover intentions whereby affective commitment plays a regulating role. Affective commitment moderates the relationship between work engagement and turnover intentions whereby employees’ affective commitment is stronger and employees are more willing to invest effort in their work; hence, employees’ turnover intentions are reduced.

Abstract: The theory of Economics of Language holds that the relationship of language learning and language application is just like investment and benefit. Business English teaching is an investment that can bring economic benefits, so we should try to get a higher return with a lower cost. With an analysis of economic value of business English practical teaching, this paper puts forward some principles and strategies for business English practical teaching. Optimizing the allocation of education resources and establishing a practical teaching system highlighting both language skills and business practice can maximize the economic benefit of Business English education.
Estimating the Size of an Injecting Drug User Population  [PDF]

Abstract: This article describes a sampling and estimation scheme for estimating the size of an injecting drug user (IDU) population by combining classical sampling and respondent-driven sampling procedures. It is designed to use the information from harm reduction programs, especially, Needle Exchange Programs (NEPs). The approach involves using respondent-driven sampling design to collect a sample of injecting drug users who appear at site of NEP in a certain period of time and to obtain retrospective self-report data on the number of friends among the IDUs and number of needles exchanged for each sampled injecting drug user. A methodology is developed to estimate the size of injecting drug users who have ever used the NEP during the fixed period of time, and which allows us to estimate the proportion of injecting drug users in using NEP. The size of the IDU population is estimated by dividing the total number of IDUs who using NEPs during the period of time by the estimated proportion of IDUs in the group. The technique holds promise for providing data needed to answer questions such as “What is the size of an IDU population in a city?” and “Is that size changing?” and better understand the dynamics of the IDU population. The methodology described here can also be used to estimate size of other hard-to-reach population by using information from harm reduction programs.
