Abstract: In China, the majority of children would not learn to read or speak without promoting from adults. Those teachers who teach a bewildered group of little ones will have to know the solution of prompting the young. Teachers must lay great emphasis on motivation and application of motivation theories in children English teaching. There are some theories that can be used by the teachers. They are drive and need theories, cognitive theories, instinct theories. Motivation theories can be used in many aspects of teaching.

Abstract: “Rural Revitalization” strategy of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is related to the economic development of rural areas in China. As key construction areas, the level of social and economic development in rural areas affects the realization of all-round well-off society in China. As an important Qiang district in China, the local economic development in Qiang district of the Aba Prefecture is restricted by various factors such as the limitation of geographical environment and the influence of climate and hydrological conditions. And the “three rural issues” (agriculture, rural areas and farmers) affects the living standards of the local people. However, due to the regions strong ethnic minority culture, the cultural heritage in the region has a high level value of tourism, history and cultural protection. Excavating history and culture and developing tourism can solve the problem of local economic development to a large extent. This paper mainly analyzes the status quo of the protection of cultural heritage and the development of cultural industry in the Qiang district of Aba prefecture, and on this basis, probes into the development of cultural industry in the region, and proposes the establishment of a protection base, a digital center, the publication of a series of books and the establishment of a special brand of cultural heritage protection mode.

Abstract:

This paper proposed a risk assessment model with which supervisory authorities can calculate the money laundering risk (MLR) level of financial institutions and make comparisons among multiple institutions. The model is based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and decomposes MLR into two second-tier criteria, i.e. Inherent Risk & Control Risk. AHP pair wise comparisons made by the experts from various fields are processed through AHP software to get the weight of each factor. Using this model, MLR of each financial institution could be obtained and certain comparison among them could be carried out.

Abstract: A fringelike field emission with high-luminescence and stable emission current from screen-printed carbon nanotube mixed zinc oxide (CNT-ZnO) composite cathode was investigated. The luminescent patterns are significantly different from those observed in the field emission measure of pure CNT cathode. SEM images reveal that the CNTs are perfectly matched with ZnO powders by filling the interspaces in CNT film. XRD analysis demonstrates that the CNTs and ZnO have a high degree of crystalline perfection. Field emission measurement exhibits that the turn-on field of CNT-ZnO cathode is 2.08 V/µm, lower than 2.46 V/µm for pure CNT cathode. The large fringelike emission current at the brims of CNT-ZnO cathode is attributed to a combination of the increased effective contact area of CNTs, which decrease the sheet resistance of cathode film, and the dangled CNT bundles at the brims of CNT-ZnO film cathode.

Estimating Chlorophyll Content of Apple Leaves Based on Different Scales in Differential Window  [PDF]

Abstract: The aims of this study are to explore the effect of different scales in the high spectral data on the estimation of chlorophyll content of apple leaves, to find out the optimal differential window scale and to establish a model for estimating the chlorophyll content of apple leaves. Taking the apple leaves as the research object, the actual spectral reflectance of the leaves was determined by the ASD Field Spec 3 spectrometer and the chlorophyll contents of the leaves were measured in the laboratory. Firstly, the differential transformations from 1 to 30 window scales were done for actual spectral data respectively, and correlation analyses were done between apple leaf chlorophyll content and differential data, then two sensitive wavelengths were chosen under each window. Secondly, taking five consecutive differential windows as a group, the best differential window was selected in each group. Lastly, after the conversion of two sensitive wavelengths in six differential windows, relationship analyses between chlorophyll content of apple leaves and two sensitive wavelengths were done, then two new parameters with the largest correlation coefficient were chosen to establish estimation model. Results showed that with increasing differential window, the determination coefficient (R2) of estimation model decreased after an initial increase, the tipping point was at the 13th differential window scale. Testing the partial least squares (PLS) model and the stepwise regression (SR) model established under differential window scale of the 13th, the R2 of the SR model was higher than that of the PLS model. The RMSE and RE% of the SR model were lower than that of the PLS model, which showed that SR model was more suitable to estimate chlorophyll content.

Abstract: In this paper, we present our investigation on the morphological and autofluorescence char-acteristics of the cones and rods using two- photon excitation with a femtosecond Ti: sap-phire laser. The results show that the micro-structures of the photoreceptor layers can be visualized at submicron level without any stain- ing or slicing. The morphology and spatial dis-tribution of the cones and rods can be resolved by autofluorescence imaging. The autofluores-cence in the photoreceptor outer segments is much stronger than other layers, but suscepti-ble to light-induced damage.
