Abstract:

We reexamine the charged AdS domain wall solution to the Einstein-Abelian-Higgs model proposed by Gubser et al. as holographic superconductors at quantum critical points and comment on their statement about the uniqueness of gravity solutions. We generalize their explorations from 3 + 1 dimensions to arbitrary n + 1 Ds and find that the n + 1 ≥ 5D charged AdS domain walls are unstable against electric perturbations.

Abstract: The Hausdorff capacity on the Heisenberg group is introduced. The Choquet integrals with respect to the Hausdorff capacity on the Heisenberg group are defined. Then the fractional Carleson measures on the Siegel upper half space are discussed. Some characterized results and the dual of the fractional Carleson measures on the Siegel upper half space are studied. Therefore, the tent spaces on the Siegel upper half space in terms of the Choquet integrals are introduced and investigated. The atomic decomposition and the dual spaces of the tent spaces are obtained at the last.

Abstract: A DNA fragment about 1.5 kb has been isolated from spleen of adult Chinese swine by RT-PCR. The DNA fragment encodes immunoglobulin IgG H chain gene. Sequencing analysis showed that the DNA fragment is 1 425 bp long, complete CDS. The C region of the gene has been classified as Subclass lg γ3, and is the same as reported by Sunet al., but V region of the present gene is 42 bp less by comparison. The gene has been ligated into expression vector PET-3b (NSEB)(-). A protein about 52 ku has been expressed inE. coli with an expression level of about 21 %.

Type-Driven Incremental Semantic Parsing with Polymorphism

Abstract: Semantic parsing has made significant progress, but most current semantic parsers are extremely slow (CKY-based) and rather primitive in representation. We introduce three new techniques to tackle these problems. First, we design the first linear-time incremental shift-reduce-style semantic parsing algorithm which is more efficient than conventional cubic-time bottom-up semantic parsers. Second, our parser, being type-driven instead of syntax-driven, uses type-checking to decide the direction of reduction, which eliminates the need for a syntactic grammar such as CCG. Third, to fully exploit the power of type-driven semantic parsing beyond simple types (such as entities and truth values), we borrow from programming language theory the concepts of subtype polymorphism and parametric polymorphism to enrich the type system in order to better guide the parsing. Our system learns very accurate parses in GeoQuery, Jobs and Atis domains.

Abstract: Due to the restriction of light illumination condition, the effective utilization of PV grid-connected systems is very low. In view of this question, this paper presents a unified control strategy based on PV grid-connected and active power filter. The distributed small-capacity grid-connected inverter is chose to be the research object. It is preferential to eliminate the deviation between power qualities of the national standards according to the control of decision tables, and adjust the proportion of the compensation currents dynamically. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this unified control strategy.

Abstract:

The paper presents a new STATCOM system based on H-bridge inverter. It can be used in mine power network. It has been commonly verified for the positive effects of SVG on the reactive power compensation and voltage fluctuation suppression. This paper focuses on a generalized structure of multilevel power converter where individual voltage sources are not necessarily the same. The cascade H-bridge consists of two cells, high-voltage cell and low-voltage cell. The high-voltage cell is responsible for voltage lifting, while the low-voltage cell is responsible for PWM modulation. If two cells are cascaded with DC voltages in a ratio of 2:1, the single-phase output voltage can reach 7 levels. Increasing voltage levels of output waveform can bring up AC current quality, optimize harmonic spectrum and enhance converter efficiency. The hybrid multilevel is characterized by per-phase series connection of a high-voltage H-bridge converter and a low-voltage H-bridge converter. Due to the different capacitor voltage, it is a key problem as to how to maintain the capacitor’s voltage at a reference level. Independent DC source can effectively ensure the DC voltage. Through the reactive power compensation technology, the three-phase voltage and current can remain at the same phase.

Abstract: Electromagnetic field is an advanced topic which requires thinking in abstract terms and with imagination. This paper presents authors’ experience in teaching electromagnetics at Tianjin University, China and demonstrates that this difficult subject can be tackled with the help of advanced numerical simulations and virtual experiments. Commercial simulation packages and in house developed software such as the Finite Elements Method (FEM), the Boundary Element Method (BEM) and an analytical method were used for this purpose. Overall, students have provided positive feedback for this teaching methodology.
Factors Influencing Consumers’ Purchasing Behavior on Organic Vegetables: A Case Study in Vientiane, Lao PDR  [PDF]

Abstract: This article aims to study the factors influencing consumers’ purchasing behavior on organic vegetable. The main instrument for data collection used in this study is the questionnaire distributed to 323 respondents on the basis of random and convenience sampling. The purpose of this study is to examine the reliability of the empirical data; therefore, the consistency analysis has been done using Cornbrash’s alpha method. Various statistical methods and techniques such as factor analysis and multiple linear regression models were run by means of the data collected through a structured questionnaire. In terms of proportional marketing mix impact, it is observed that place, product and promotion factors have higher impacts on organic vegetable consumers decision process; whereas, the factor with medium level is price. Results showed the strong support for consumers’ attitude towards organic vegetables is influenced by product specific attitude, health consciousness, perceived price and knowledge of organic vegetables.

Sequencing analysis showed that the DNA fragment is 1 425 bp long, complete CDS. The C region of the gene has been classified as Subclass lg γ3, and is the same as reported by Sunet al., but V region of the present gene is 42 bp less by comparison. The gene has been ligated into expression vector PET-3b (NSEB)(-). A protein about 52 ku has been expressed inE. coli with an expression level of about 21 %. The nucleotides sequence data reported in thin note have heen submitted to GenBank and assigned the accession numher ZHAOKAI AF062384. This note is a part of the firjt author’s Ph.D. dissenation.
