Psychological Characteristics of Entrepreneurship of College Students in China  [PDF]
Hua Zhang, Ying Zhang
Psychology (PSYCH) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/psych.2013.43023

The study investigated the psychological characteristics of entrepreneurship of 829 college students in Chinaby questionnaire. The psychological characteristics include five aspects: entrepreneurial capacity, entrepreneurial belief, entrepreneurial consciousness, entrepreneurial motivation, and entrepreneurial determination. In the five factors, the entrepreneurial consciousness of college students is the highest, and the other four are almost at the same level. There is significant difference on entrepreneurial belief, consciousness, and motivation in different gender of students. Also there is significant difference on entrepreneurial consciousness in different major students and on entrepreneurial motivation in different degree students. However, the college students only with high entrepreneurial consciousness are not enough to succeed in business. The other four psychological characteristics are not only essential to entrepreneurship, but also necessary to their future professional development. College students should have a lot of preparation and accumulation on the other four psychological characteristics of entrepreneurship, and give much more effort to improve them.

Philosophy and Aesthetic: To Begin with the Case of Western Postmodern Art  [PDF]
Shi-Ying Zhang
Open Journal of Philosophy (OJPP) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/ojpp.2012.22022
Abstract: Philosophy is, generally speaking, divorced from real life, and therefore, monotonous and rigid. But the author maintains that philosophy must be poetic. He advocates philosophy with beautiful features. Western postmodern art is closely related to real life, so art becomes life-oriented and vitalized. Philosophy may be inspired by Western postmodern art as follows: It should philosophize about life; philosophers may use reason to argue for an art-oriented realm of life and achieve a philosophy featuring beauty. Traditional Western philosophy is typical of pursuit of abstract concepts and ideals and an estrangement from the sensible world and life. To make philosophy achieve artistic beauty, we must bring to an end traditional Western philosophy. With the end of old philosophy, a new philosophy came into being with the name of “post-philosophy”. One of the features of “post-philosophy” is the union of philosophy and poetry, which is no other than making philosophy achieve artistic beauty. The union of philosophy and poetry is also an important feature of most of traditional Chinese philosophy. Traditional Chinese philosophy ,especially, that of Daoism is similar to Western post-modern art. Both of them stress the realm of life and uphold the beauty of life, mind and spirit. Since the middle of the last century, under the influence of traditional Western philosophy, Chinese philosophy lost its traditional beauty. To keep this beauty, we need to go further and understand philosophy as a discipline to upgrade the realm of life. The beauty of life realm comes before the beauty of philosophy. Therefore, Chinese philosophy needs to become life-oriented like postmodern art. Inheriting and developing Daoism philosophy while absorbing the philosophy of life shown through postmodern art, seems to be a good way for us to enhance the realm of life and pursue the beauty of philosophy.

Environmental Sound Recognition Using Double-Level Energy Detection  [PDF]
Xiaoxia Zhang, Ying Li
Journal of Signal and Information Processing (JSIP) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/jsip.2013.43B004

The performance of classic Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) is unsatisfactory in noisy environment with different sound sources from nature. In this paper, a classification approach of the ecological environmental sounds using the double-level energy detection (DED) was presented. The DED was used to detect the existence of the sound signals under noise conditions. In addition, MFCC features from the frames which were detected the presence of the sound signals by DED were extracted. Experimental results show that the proposed technology has better noise immunity than classic MFCC, and also outperforms time-domain energy detection (TED) and frequency-domain energy detection (FED) respectively.

The Experience and Enlightenment of American High-End Equipment Manufacturing Industry to China  [PDF]
Ying Chi, Jianming Zhang
American Journal of Industrial and Business Management (AJIBM) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/ajibm.2013.38077

To get rid of the financial crisis happened in 2008, the United States, as the representative of developed countries, made an achievement of the transformation from the “de-industrialization” to “re-industrialization”. The US government took some effective measures through the combination of government, R & D and production, such as focusing on high-end equipment manufacturing industry, increasing R & D investment, encouraging innovation actively, building competitive markets, paying attention to the multinational industrial reflux and vigorously supporting the SME, to develop high-end equipment manufacturing industry. Learning from the experience of the United States, China should take some effective measures. Firstly, our country should increase the investment in scientific research, in particular by increasing funding for basic research, and then by improving innovation capabilities. Secondly, our country should vigorously support the SME and improve the employment situation. Finally, our country needs to further maintain and improve the socialist market economic system.

The Analysis of the Risks Faced by China’s Social Endowment Insurance under the Background of Rapid Aging Population  [PDF]
Ying Zhang, Zongli Qiu
Open Journal of Business and Management (OJBM) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/ojbm.2015.32018
Abstract: With the increasing aging population, the pressure of social endowment insurance in our country is growing more quickly than ever. Meanwhile, there are some practical problems and shortcomings in the current social endowment insurance system in China. And all this will raise risks in the field of inherent finance, fund investment and operation of the endowment insurance system. At the same time, it will cause new risks in the field of institution and policy. Thus, only by strengthening risk management and actively responding to the risks of social endowment insurance, can the government perfect the social endowment insurance system constantly.
Zhuangzian Literary Hermeneutic from Perspective of “Words of Three Kinds三言”  [PDF]
Chen Guo, Ying Zhang
Advances in Literary Study (ALS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/als.2018.62006
Words of Three Kinds depict both the writing style of the Zhuangzi and an especially useful way to interpret it. Yuyan shows the instability of meanings expressed; Zhongyan shows the truth revealed is no definite truth; Zhiyan justifies every interpretation. The analysis of words of three kinds implies Zhuangzi’s writing mode might be speaking reckless words, forgetting the words but continuing to speak, urging readers to listen recklessly, embrace all the interpretations, perspectives and values, living a life beyond dichotomy and creating new meanings in their lives.
Static and Dynamic Structure Characteristics of a Trust Network and Formation of User Trust in an Online Society  [PDF]
Ying Li, Hongduo Cao, Ying Zhang
Social Networking (SN) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/sn.2018.74016
This study investigated the characteristics and formation of the online social trust network of Epinions.com, a general consumer review site. An analysis of the static structure of this social trust network revealed a high clustering coefficient, short average path length, and power-law degree distribution; it is therefore a small-world and scale-free trust network. The dynamic evolutionary characteristics of the online social network (OSN) were also examined. The results showed that the scale of the network followed a sigmoidal curve; the average degree of the network was nonconstant and changed into a bell-shaped distribution; the density of the network decreased and subsequently stabilized; and user trust diffusion in the network conformed to the Bass model. Finally, the formation of trust within the network was researched at the overall network (macro) and individual user (micro) levels. Compared with their accumulated contribution and reputation, user activeness had a larger effect on trust formation in OSNs, indicating a “diminishing returns” phenomenon. This phenomenon contrasts with the Matthew effect (i.e. , the more reputation a person has, the more likely he or she is to be trusted) in real-world social networks.
Mass Mixing Effect and Oblique Radiative Corrections in Extended Effective Theory
Ying Zhang
Advances in High Energy Physics , 2012, DOI: 10.1155/2012/761953
Abstract: We analyze the properties of electroweak chiral effective Lagrangian with an extended gauge group. Right-handed gauge bosons affect electroweak observables by mixing with electroweak gauge bosons and . We discuss all possible mass mixing terms and calculate the exact physical mass eigenvalues by diagonalization of mixing matrix without any approximate assumptions. The contributions to oblique radiative corrections parameters STU from fields are also presented. 1. Introduction Although the standard model (SM) has been checked very successfully by more and more high energy physics experiments, the as yet undiscovered Higgs, introduced as a basic scaler field in SM, remains as the only unknown component of the electroweak symmetry-breaking mechanism (EWSBM) unknown. That situation has prompted many extensions to SM [1–3]. A new group, associated with an additional triplet of gauge bosons and , is often considered for different reasons as an extension to the gauge symmetry [4–6]. This extension often appears in superstring-inspired models as well as GUT models [7]. The non-Abelian contains sufficient complexity to incorporate interesting issues related to spontaneous parity violation (SPV) and precise electroweak observables, although remains simple enough that phenomenology can be subjected to analysis. gauge bosons can improve unitarity of not only but also scattering processes and delay the breaking scale of unitarity. Many left-right symmetry models with symmetry group have been used in studying EWSBM. The common feature of these models is the existence of multi-Higgs bosons that then raises phenomenological issues related to multi-Higgs structure dependencies. To obtain an universal physical analysis, we adopt the nonlinear realization of the chiral Lagrangian to describe extended electroweak gauge models given the symmetry breaking pattern . This chiral Lagrangian has already been written down in [8]. The model is a generalization of the conventional linearly realized models with multi-Higgs. Within the extended non-Abelian chiral effective Lagrangian, multi-Higgs effects are parameterized by a set of coefficients that describes all possible interactions among the gauge bosons and provides a model-independent platform to investigate interesting physics [8]. In the paper, we focus on mass mixing effects in left-right chiral effective Lagrangian. Mass mixings are main focus in the contribution of the right-handed gauge bosons to electroweak observables at low-energy scales. The gauge triplet can be regarded as a copy of the gauge triplet of SM, but with
Coherent Network Optimizing of Rail-Based Urban Mass Transit
Ying Zhang
Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society , 2012, DOI: 10.1155/2012/960762
Abstract: An efficient public transport is more than ever a crucial factor when it comes to the quality of life and competitiveness of many cities and regions in Asia. In recent years, the rail-based urban mass transit has been regarded as one of the key means to overcoming the great challenges in Chinese megacities. The purpose of this study is going to develop a coherent network optimizing for rail-based urban mass transit to find the best alternatives for the user and to demonstrate how to meet sustainable development needs and to match the enormous capacity requirements simultaneously. This paper presents an introduction to the current situation of the important lines, and transfer points in the metro system Shanghai. The insufficient aspects are analyzed and evaluated; while the optimizing ideas and measurements are developed and concreted. A group of examples are used to illustrate the approach. The whole study could be used for the latest reference for other megacities which have to be confronted with the similar situations and processes with enormous dynamic travel and transport demands. 1. Introduction An efficient public transport is more than ever a crucial factor when it comes to the quality of life and competitiveness of many cities and regions. Rail-based urban mass transit is the backbone of modern transit systems [1], as their inherent characteristics such as exclusive right-of-way, automated guidance, and electric propulsion allow them to carry large numbers of passengers with speed, convenience, and safety. Projects of rail-based urban mass transit are often a top contender to meet the rapidly increasing travel demand, especially in many Asian cities [2]. As high population density requires an efficient transport system to facilitate mobility and economic development of the territory. On the other hand, this high density provides the essential condition for the development of a mass transit type of public transport. Furthermore, this kind of transit system is bound to grow. The world is constantly urbanizing, creating megacities that rely more and more on public transportation. Indeed, the development of rail-based urban mass transit has been one of the key objectives of the transport policies and strategies over the past few decades. As the population size of Chinese city increases, the use of a rail-based system becomes more appealing. Since 2003, 28 cities have done their plans of this system network. 2700?km among the planned lines have been constructed after that. This means, above 250?km line track per year have been brought into
