Applying the mutation of Bacillus subtilis and the optimization of feather fermentation medium to improve Keratinase activity  [PDF]

Abstract: Energetic Bacillus subtilis was preliminarily isolated from feather meal selection medium experiment, which could be used to produce Keratinase. Through using the ultraviolet ray produced by ultraviolet light and the compound mutation of sodium nitrite solution, a mutated strain was produced which can yield Kerati-nase with a high activity. The activity of Keratinase was 75.9% higher than that before the compound mutation. This was achieved by optimizing the fermentation medium of mutated strain. The optimum fermentation medium had the parameters as feather meal 5.5%, maize silage 0.8%, K+ 0.018 mol/L, Mg2+ 0.065 mol/L, Ca2+ 0.072 mol/L, Fe2+ 0.010 mol/L, and Na+ 0.088 mol/L. Based on the optimized fermentation medium, the highest yielding rate for producing enzyme was 1.117 U/mL, 25.22% higher than that before the optimization. The amino acid in the fermentation medium fluid reached 22.66 mg/mL. This paper presents a simple, and low cost way to produce high quality bio-fermentation feather meal.
Credit Constraints and Decisions in Exports: Theory under Asymmetric Information  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper examines why credit constraints for domestic and exporting firms arise in a setting where banks do not observe firms’ productivities. To maintain incentive-compatibility, banks lend below the amount needed for first-best production. The longer time needed for export shipments induces a tighter credit constraint on exporters than on purely domestic firms, even in the exporters’ home market. Greater risk faced by exporters also affects the credit extended by banks. Extra fixed costs reduce exports on the extensive margin, but can be offset by collateral held by exporting firms.

Abstract: The power of investigation refers to the country’s investigation organ and investigators in order to achieve the purpose of the investigation: in accordance with legal procedures, using special investigative means to carry out the investigation activities of power. As the youngest police classification in China, Chinese air marshal is the important member that first faces the hijacking suspects, and the effective implementation of its investigation right is crucial on how to identify, investigate and prevent the hijacking behavior. This paper, using empirical analysis, comparative analysis and other research methods, aims to analyze and discuss how to overcome the defects of current Chinese air marshal’s investigation power existing in the hijacking in criminal cases, in order to obtain the earliest direct investigation clue, find the suspect, define the direction and determine the specific target of investigation, and then puts forward the conception and suggestion of some reform.
University Students’ Employability Skills Model Based on Chinese Employer Perspective  [PDF]

Abstract: The employability and the employability skills of the university students in China are now being the most important capacity which the employers pay the highest attention to. The aim of this research was to identify the university students’ employability skills and college students’ employability skills framework to reinforce the employability research and the field of human resource development (HRD) in the Chinese context. From the perspective of the employers, using the methods of interview and questionnaire, this paper studied the contents of the students’ employability skills which the Chinese employers recognized and got the model of university students’ employability skills. The results showed that college student’s personal characteristics perceived by the service industry employers and the manufacture industry employers major focused on honesty, independence, self-confidence, adaptability, and enthusiasm. Basic knowledge which perceived by the service industry employers and the manufacture industry employers centralized political knowledge, and economic knowledge. Interpersonal relationship, teamwork, strain capacity, problem handling capacity, leadership, information technology software applications, and presentation skills were the abilities at present and in the next five years that both industry employers thought very important skills and abilities. The conclusions can be got that the employability skills perceived by Chinese employers whether in service industry or in manufacture industry include personal qualities, basic knowledge, skills and abilities. The employability skills framework perceived by employers at present in service industry and in manufacture industry is slightly different. On the contrary, it is surprising that the employability skills at present and in the next 5 years perceived by service industry employers or manufacture industry employers have a significant difference alternatively. Suggestions on managerial implications and future research directions are put forward respectively.
The Market Pricing of Information Risk: From the Perspective of the Generating and Utilizing of Information  [PDF]

Abstract: Generating and utilizing are the two sources of the information risk, reflecting the quality of financial reporting and investors’ information interpreting ability respectively. Using accrual quality to represent the financial reporting quality and the earnings transparency to represent investors’ information interpreting ability, we examine the correlation among them. By combining the generating and utilizing steps of information, we construct a two-dimensional information risk factor, which equals the excess return of portfolios in high-risk areas subtract that in low-risk areas. Then, taking the Fama-MacBeth two-stage cross-sectional regression procedure, we test whether the information risk factor is a pricing factor with individual stocks and industry portfolios respectively, and the empirical results support the point that information risk is priced by market.

Abstract: This research aims to discuss and explore, from the perspective of Ecologic Education, the ecologic characteristics of the traditional Chinese sports education and the developmental direction of the teaching model of Chinese traditional ethnic sports education under the guide of the view of Ecologic Education. Firstly, this research explores the background of the appearing of the view of Ecologic Education and the basic ideas of Ecologic Education. After that, the writer of this article comes up with the ecologic characteristics particularly embraced in Chinese traditional ethnic sports education. These characteristics or features include the educational aim of pursuing harmony, the developmental model of advocating co-existence, the knowledge view of cultural circumstance, and the interactive and win-win relationship between teachers and students. After the analysis made above, the writer of this article further argues that under the view of Ecologic Education pursuing life education full of spirituality, focusing on the active construction of knowledge and exploring multiple ways of enculturation can be the very direction of the teaching model of Chinese traditional ethnic sports education.
Can black holes be torn up by phantom dark energy in cyclic cosmology?

Abstract: Infinitely cyclic cosmology is often frustrated by the black hole problem. It has been speculated that this obstacle in cyclic cosmology can be removed by taking into account a peculiar cyclic model derived from loop quantum cosmology or the braneworld scenario, in which phantom dark energy plays a crucial role. In this peculiar cyclic model, the mechanism of solving the black hole problem is through tearing up black holes by phantom. However, using the theory of fluid accretion onto black holes, we show in this paper that there exists another possibility: that black holes cannot be torn up by phantom in this cyclic model. We discussed this possibility and showed that the masses of black holes might first decrease and then increase, through phantom accretion onto black holes in the expanding stage of the cyclic universe.

Abstract: This paper, establishes a complete vehicle model in MATLAB/Simulink development environment, constructs a vehicle control application using Stateflow, Generates C source code for a microcontroller with Real Time Workshop, builds object code for target CPU, develops an efficient seamless development system used in real-time hardware in the loop system, and validates the system practical performance at the final stage by the implementation of vehicle ABS system.
Contribution to the global air–sea CO2 exchange budget from asymmetric bubble-mediated gas transfer

Abstract: Quantifying air–sea gas exchange is an essential element for predicting climate change due to human activities. Air–sea gas exchanges take place through both the sea surface and bubbles formed during wave breakings. Bubble-mediated gas transfers are particularly important at high wind regions. Bubble-mediated gas transfers are separated into symmetric and asymmetric transfers. Their transfer fluxes are respectively proportional to the gas concentration difference between the atmosphere and ocean surface water, and to the atmospheric gas concentration alone. To quantify the role of asymmetric transfers in the global carbon dioxide (CO2) transfer budget, a parameterisation scheme of asymmetric transfer is developed, which is constrained by gas equilibrium supersaturation in the ocean surface. By establishing a bound for the global mean gas equilibrium supersaturation in ocean surface water, we found that the global ocean uptake by bubble-mediated asymmetric gas transfer is a substantial part of the total air–sea CO2 uptake budget (over 20%). It is found that, over the past half century, the global asymmetric ocean CO2 uptake has increased about a total of 40% on a steadily trend, as a consequence of the increasing atmospheric CO2 concentrations.
