Chemical Control of Ipomoea cairica with Three Herbicides and Effect of 2,4-D Butylate on the Environment

Abstract: Ipomoea cairica is a notorious weed which has serious harm to the environment in South China. The effects of three chemical herbicides, such as 2,4-D butylate, dicamba and fluroxypyr, on control of I. cairica in the field were studied. The results showed that 2,4-D butylate (1.00 mL L-1) could eradicate this weed. The death rate of I. cairica stems and leaves was close to 100% after spraying 2,4-D butylate (1.00 mL L-1) in 20 days. The total biomass also decreased significantly in 60 days (P<0.05), and the growth did not recovery after 90 days. The final control effect of 2,4-D butylate (1.00 mL L-1) on Ipomoea cairica was 99.8%. After spraying dicamba (1.00 mL L-1) and fluroxypyr (1.00 mL L-1) in 40 days, the death rate of I. cairica stems and leaves were 99.0% and 100%, respectively, and the regeneration rate of I. cairica was 10% and 100% after 90 days. A few roots were survival sprayed dicamba (1.00 mL L-1) after 40 days. The herbicide residue analysis showed that 2,4-D butylate could degrade quickly with half-life for 14 days, and it could not be detected in the soil after 80 days. Furthermore, 2,4-D butylate (1.00 mL L-1) was relatively safe to other plants, which could regenerate after spraying 2,4-D butylate in 1 year. Therefore, it suggested that the Ipomoea cairica growth could be good control treated with 1.00 mL L-1 2,4-D butylate.
Research on a New Routing Handover Strategy

Abstract: Based on some basic handover rules, a new routing handover strategy is proposed and the performance is analyzed. The handover strategy is under considerations of handover, delay and load. Its performance is compared with other handover strategies The simulation results show that the new strategy performs better with less delay, lower handover frequency and can equipoise the network flux.

Abstract: Constant modulus algorithm is a most popular algorithm and is widely used for blind equalization of non-constant envelope signals and constant envelope signals. But it exhibits very slow convergence speed and large residual error. A modified variable step size algorithm is proposed based on constant modulus algorithm. Its theoretical analysis is made and it is simulated with binary sequence and quadrature amplitude modulation signals. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that it has the characteristics of fast convergence speed and small residual error.

Abstract: In this paper, it studied the topology architecture and routing characteristics of the space information network, then the length of ISL(inter satellite link) and performance of coverage are analyzed. It improved the algorithm for the characteristics of space information network and made some optimizing ways. Then it proposed a new routing algorithm applied for space information network. The new algorithm can find the aggregate of best communication routes between any two satellites, and can reduce link switching as much as possible, thus the system performance is improved.Analysis and simulation results show that the new routing algorithm can enhance the performance of the network, and increase the link reliability, on the other hand, it costs very little link requirements.

Abstract: The complexity of video encoders in the international standards of H.263,MPEG- 4,H.264,depends mainly on the block motion estimation algorithm.In order to make motion estimation algorithm faster and more accurate,a fast motion estimation algorithm based on probability matrix is proposed in the paper.In the algorithm,every possible motion vector's probability of current macro block is estimated by the previous macro blocks' motion vectors,and constitutes the probability matrix whose size is as the same as the search window's.The algorithm restricts the number of pixels to search by probability.From the results of experiment,comparing the proposed algorithm and diamond search algorithm,it shows that the veracity is improved a little,and the speed grown faster at the same time.

Abstract:
In order to reduce the volume and weight of phase array antenna in RF frequency, an integrated technology of multi-channel transceiver circuit and power division network in microwave is proposed for the tile type TR module. The component is integrated in a same dielectric substrate, the mounting interface of chips and power division network are on the same layer. Finally, a 8 × 8 array has been manufactured and tested to validate its function. The results show the integrated technology has good performance. It is very good to satisfy the miniaturization and lightweight of the T/R module in the active phased array antenna.

Abstract: Foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) is a member of the genus Aphthovirus of the family Picornaviridae, which is divided into seven serotypes with no cross-protection conferred among the serotypes [1]. FMDV serotypes O, A, C are widely distributed worldwide, whereas FMDV serotypes SAT 1, SAT 2, SAT 3 are normally restricted to Africa and FMDV serotype Asia 1 to Asia [2,3]. Due to the aggressive nature of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), outbreaks usually result in severe economic losses and impact on both national and international trade within the livestock and animal products [4-6]. Rapid and accurate diagnosis of any suspected FMD cases is of utmost urgency to control this veterinary infection given the extreme contagiousness of the causative virus.Conventional laboratory diagnosis of FMD was made by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detection of specific viral antigens and by observation of cytopathogenic effects in cell culture [4,7-9]. Alternatively, conventional reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) [5,10-14] and real-time RT-PCR [6,15-18] were developed to complement primary diagnostic techniques for the FMDV infection. These assays were time-consuming and laborious, which required centralized laboratory facilities and clinical specimen submissions, resulted in the delay of FMDV diagnosis. Given these problems, a rapid, simple, and practical assay to detect FMDV in animal and its products was therefore required in clinical practice.A novel nucleic acid amplification method, termed reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP), which was applied successfully to the detection of influenza A virus, Newcastle disease virus and classical swine fever virus, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus [19-22]. Abstract: Assuming that the Yukawa couplings between the Higgs and exotic quarks cannot be ignored, we analyze the signals of decay channels $h\rightarrow\gamma\gamma$ and $h\rightarrow VV^*\;(V=Z,\;W)$ with the Higgs mass around $125\;{\rm GeV}$ in a supersymmetric extension of the standard model where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauge symmetries. Adopting some assumptions on relevant parameter space, we can account for the experimental data on Higgs from ATLAS and CMS naturally.
