Abstract: 对Ta2O5/Ta样品界面区的深度剖面曲线进行了研究。基于离子溅射引起影响层存在的考虑,提出一种解释该曲线的新模型。通过此模型能很好地拟合实验曲线,并反映了溅射过程中的离子混合效应、原子堆积效应及相应的特征参数。样品由阳极氧化法制得,其厚度为500埃。表面分析在PHI-590型扫描俄歇微探针上完成,所有测量均在室温下进行。研究表明:深度剖面曲线并不符合误差函数分布;影响层的厚度为30—50埃,它是进行深度剖面分析时,决定元素俄歇信号强度的第一位重要因素;深度剖面

Abstract: A new method is proposed for determining the backscattering factor using information provided by the background off an direct Auger spectrum N(E). Complicated calculations such as the Monte Carlo method were avoided, and the quantitative Auger analysis accuracy could be further improved since the calculations of backscattering factor was based on the spectra. The examples of determining the compositions of Au-Cu and Ag-Cu alloys are given. These results are compared with that obtained by other mothods.

Abstract: A simple method has been developed in our laboratory, namely, lonization Loss Spectros-copy (ILS) for unoccupied DOS measurement which can be performed with existing Auger electron spectroscopy apparatus.The results of spin-orbit splitting and binding energy obtained by ILS are in excellent agreement with that of ESCA. The ILS spectra of 3d transition metals, Ti, Cr, Ni, Cu have been measured. The typical integral spectra exhibit a peak-like shape with different intensity and width which reflects the width of the unoccupied DOS. Since the unoccupied 3d DOS of Cu is zero, the ILS spectrum of Cu measured is shown by a step-like structure resulting from the flat, narrow 4s DOS.

Abstract: The surface phenomena of Pb97.4Sn2.6 alloy under the Ar+ ion sputtering have been investigated using PHI-590 scanning Auger microprobe at room temperature. Theoretical analyses of experimental data showed that the ion-bombardment-enhanced diffusion occured with diffusion coefficient up to 10-15 cm2/s and the thickness of alter layer was about 260 ?. The possible explanation is given.

Abstract: The slow electron energy-loss spectra in a reflection mode recorded above a core-level, known as the surface extended energy-loss fine structure (SEELFS), can give detailed local surface structural information of solids. This work reports for the first time the investigation of the role the boron atoms play in polycrystalline boron, Fe80B20 and Fe78.5 Si5B16.5 samples by using this technique. The oscillating structures were up to 300 eV above the boron K-edge. With the program daveloped in this laboratory, the radial distribution functions around the excited site were obtained by analyzing the SEELFS data. After phase-shift correction, the nearest-neighbor bondlengths of surface atoms were found: 1.57 ? for polycrystalline boron, 2.14 ? for Fe80B20 and 2.12 ? for Fe78.5Si5B16.5

Abstract: In this paper stability and sustainability of food production and agricultural output value were used to assess the general holostic production performances,and homogenity or diversity was used to express the overall agricultural development of the compound agro-ecosystem in Fuma village,which is located in the subtropical hilly region.The results from analysis of the input-output of energy,N,P,K and funds in each subecosystem showed that the overall flux of those factors and system openess were all increased in the recent ten years,and the utilization efficiency for solar radiation was increased,energy input-output ratio was decreased in cropland sub-ecosystem.For animal husbandary sub-ecosystem,transfer rates were increased significantly.The population bearing capacity of land was also increased from 13.8 persons/ha in 1980 to 15.5 persons/ha in 1989 based on the rapidly developing animal husbandary.By calculation it was suggested that the food production in this region could support double its present population.

Regulative effect of anandamide-mediated cannabinoid receptor in rats with visceral hypersensitivity

Abstract: Objective  To investigate the role of anandamide(ANA)-mediated cannabinoid receptor 1(CB1) on the acquisition of visceral hypersensitivity in rats, and explore its underlying mechanism. Methods  The visceral hypersensitivity non-noxious/noxious colorectal distension (NNCRD/NCRD) model of rat was reproduced by ovalbumin (OVA) sensitization combined with NNCRD/NCRD. Fifty-four rats were randomly divided into control group (n=7), saline+CRD group (n=7), OVA+CRD+dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) group (n=8), OVA+CRD+different concentrations of ANA (0.5, 5.0, 10.0mg/kg) groups (8 each), and OVA+CRD+ANA+AM251 group (n=8). The expression and quantitative assessment of CB1 were monitored by immunoflurorescence and laser scanning confocal analysis. The visceral sensitivity was evaluated by the area under curve (AUC) of myoelectrical activity of abdominal wall muscle. Results  By NCRD at 80mmHg, the density of CB1 immunofluorescence intensity was significantly higher in L4–L6 of the spinal cord of the rats in saline+CRD group compared with that in control group (P < 0.05). The expression of CB1 was higher in OVA+CRD+DMSO group than in saline+CRD group (P < 0.05). By NNCRD at 20 mmHg, no statistical difference was found in the AUC of visceromotor reflex (VMR) among various groups (P>0.05). By NCRD at 80mmHg, the VMR-AUC increased obviously in OVA+CRD+DMSO group as compared with that of saline+CRD group, but it decreased significantly in OVA+CRD+high concentration ANA group (P < 0.05). When AM251 was intravenously given, VMR-AUC increased significantly in OVA+CRD+ANA+AM251 group compared with that in OVA+CRD+different concentrations of ANA groups (P < 0.05). Conclusions Intravenous administration of ANA may mitigate the visceral nociception induced by basic OVAsensitization combined with NCRD stimulation in CB1-mediated manner. It indicated that anandamide-mediated CB1 cannabinoid receptor may regulate the development and maintenance of visceral hypersensitivity.
Growth and Photoluminescence of ZnO and Zn1-xMgxO Nanorods by High-pressure Pusled Laser Deposition

Abstract: The influence of the experimental parameters such as temperature, target, and thickness of catalyst layer on the growth of nanorods were systemically studied by a newly designed and home-built high-pressure pulsed laser deposition Zn1-xMgxO (PLD). The growth mechanism and photoluminescence properties of ZnO and Zn1-xMgxO nanorods were also investigated. It was found that c-orientated ZnO nanorod arrays grown on silicon substrate were obtained when the growth temperature was 925 nd the thickness of gold catalyst layer was 2 nm. It was also proved that growth temperature and catalyst layer thickness were both crucial for the diameter and growth density of ZnO nanorods. A combination of vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) and vapor-solid (VS) mechanism was proposed to describe the growth of ZnO nanorods by high-pressure PLD. Zn1-xMgxO nanorods and nanobelts with random orientation were grown by doping the ZnO target with MgO. The bandgap of ZnO was effectively expanded together with defect-related levels formation in the forbidden gap, which also induced enhancement of visible peak emission.
Sedative effects of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) leaf aqueous extracts on brain ATP, AMP, Adenosine and Glutamate/GABA of rats  [PDF]

Abstract: Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) leaf aqueous extracts (PLAE) has been reputed to be a type of sleep-aid in China. To investigate the sedative effects and effect pathways of PLAE, rats (n = 31) were employed in two experiments and intragastrically administrated of (1) distilled water, PLAE (500 mg/kg body weight (BW)) and peanut stem aqueous extracts (PSAE, 500 mg/kg BW); (2) 0, 100 or 500 mg/kg BW of PLAE, respectively for at least 14 days. Six relevant neurotransmitters were measured finally. Experiment-1 (n = 16) results showed that the brain Lactate were significantly elevated (p < 0.05) in rat cerebrums after PLAE administrations, compared with Control and PSAE groups. In respect of brain energy system, significant degradations of the brain adenosine triphos- phate (ATP) (p < 0.05) were observed in the brainstems and even the whole brains of rats though PLAE treatments. Moreover, we found that the brain Adenosine monophosphate (AMP) were clearly decreased (p < 0.05) in rat cerebrum and brainstem regions, while the brain Adenosine revealed an increasing propensity (p = 0.076) in the cerebrums of freely behaving rats. After experiment-2 (n = 15), the γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) concentrations were statistically (p < 0.05) enhanced and the ratios of Glutamate/GABA were simultaneously reduced (p < 0.05) in rat brainstems, no matter which one dose (100 or 500 mg/kg BW) of PLAE were used. Results indicated that PLAE could influence the target neurotransmitters that related to rat circadian rhythms in the specific brain regions, possessing the potentialities as a sedative or sleep-aid for hypnic therapy purposes.
