Research on Risk Factors Identification of P2P Lending Platforms  [PDF]

Abstract: We take 2259 P2P Lending platforms as the sample, and integrate 14 variables from five dimensions to analyze the risk factors of P2P Lending problematic platforms by binary logistic model. The empirical results show that the 11 variables which are the type of company, platform background, operation time, the type of project, interest rate, fund custody, term of loan, day-bid, transfer of creditor’s rights, automatic bidding and information disclosure, have significant influences on the operating status of the platform, while the other variables such as registered capital, the number of employees and security mechanism have no obvious impact on the operating status of the platform. The results provide a reference for investors and regulators.

A new type of combinations of Bernstein operators are given in [1]. In this paper, we give the Bernstein-Markov inequalities with step-weight functions for combinations of Bernstein polynomials with inner singularities as well as direct and inverse theorems.

Abstract:

Split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) has become a frequently used technique to measure the uniaxial compressive stress-strain relation of various engineering materials at high strain-rates. The accuracy of an SHPB test is based on the assumption of uniaxial and uniform stress distribution within the specimen, which, however, is not always satisfied in an actual SHPB test due to the existence of some unavoidable negative factors, e.g., interface friction constrains. Kinetic interface friction tests based on a simple device for engineering materials testing on SHPB tests are performed. A kinetic interface friction model is proposed and validated by implementing it into a numerical model. It shows that the proposed simple device is sufficient to obtain kinetic interface friction results for common SHPB tests. The kinetic friction model should be used instead of the frequently used constant friction model for more accurate numerical simulation of SHPB tests.

Abstract: In the field of bioinformatics, the size of a biological network is usually very big. Without any help, it’s extremely hard to analyze the network. If it is shown as a visualized picture, things will be easier. So it’s very important to convert the biological network into a picture. However, there are a lot of software tools to be used to visualize the network. They use different file formats and do not support the transfer from one format to another. Sometimes it’s really hard to deal with it. So I analyzed three text file formats of them (“.dl”, “.net” and “.vna”) and developed a program to do this work automatically. The result of execution is very well and the efficiency is also impressive.

Abstract: This paper investigated the dynamics of a dipole of ±1/2 parallel wedge disclination lines in a confined geometry, based on Landau-de Gennes theory. The behavior of the pair depends on the competition between two kinds of forces: the attractive force between the two defects, aggravating the annihilation process, and the anchoring forces coming from the substrates, inhibiting the annihilation process. There are three states when the system is equilibrium, divided by two critical thicknesses dc1 and dc2 (existing when r015ξ, r0 is the initial distance between the two defects), both changing linearly with r0. When the cell gap ddc1, the two defects coalesce and annihilate. The dynamics follows the function of r(t0-t)α during the annihilation step when d is sufficiently large, relative to r0, where r is the relative distance between the pair and t0 is the coalescence time. α decreases with the decrease of d or the increase of r0. Abstract: In this paper, we propose a fuzzy linear regression model with LR-type fuzzy input variables and fuzzy output variable, the fuzzy extent of which may be different. Then we give the iterative solution of the proposed model based on the Weighted Least Squares estimation procedure. Some properties of the estimates are proved. We also define suitable goodness of fit index and its adjusted version useful to evaluate the performances of the proposed model. Based on the Least Median Squares-Weighted Least Squares (LMS-WLS) estimation procedure, we give robust estimation steps for the proposed model. Compared with the well-known fuzzy Least Squares method, the effectiveness of our model on reducing the outliers influence is shown by using two examples.

Abstract: More and more enterprises organize co-creation activities in virtual brand community to allow customers to participate in new products or new service development process. Involved in those activities, customers obtain experience value, which can make them have sense of achievement. Does this co-creation experience promote the formation of loyalty, such as customer citizenship behaviors? Dowebsite characteristics influence the co-creation experience? The study examines the relationship between co-creation experience to citizenship behaviors and the impact of website characteristics as well as customer participation to co-creation experience. Based previous research, the study builds structural equation model and conducts empirical analysis. The results show that the affection-relevant clues of the site characteristics and customer participation have a positive impact on three dimensions of the experience, and the task-relevant clues have a positive influence on the hedonic experience and social experience. The two dimensions of co-creation experience have a significant positive impact on citizenship behaviors and have a mediating effect.

Abstract: To find an effective prevention method for porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), three indices from experimental and control group pigs, namely, routine blood index, serum biochemical indicators, and conventional cell factor contents of serum, are inspected. The prevention and treatment of PRRS effect are evaluated, feeding pigs with Daitai. Results show that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Daitai can significantly improve the nonspecific immunity of pigs.
