Risk Assessment of Agricultural Products Supply-Chain Finance Based on D-S Theory  [PDF]

Abstract: Agricultural products supply-chain finance, as one of the solutions to the issue of “capital problems” of agriculture, countryside and farmers, has proposed a kind of characteristics model to assess the risk of agricultural production, processing and marketing, which can improve the issue of farmers and enterprises lacking of funds. This model is proposed on the basis of uncertain information processing method of D-S theory and its data combination rules, combined with the “discount rate” correction model, and it includes a risk assessment index system of agricultural products supply-chain finance, fully considering the five aspects of production, processing, marketing, cooperation of supply chain and collateral. At last, a taro supply chain is taken for example. And the risk assessment of its supply-chain finance based on this model has been discussed in detail. And the result has proved that the model and its algorithm are practical and feasible.

Abstract: The entrepreneurial identity of team members is vital to team stability and entrepreneurial success. How to improve the identity of team members is a significant issue for entrepreneurs to ponder. Combining literature analysis and empirical research, this paper discusses the following issues: 1) Whether the entrepreneur’s self-disclosure has a positive impact on the members’ entrepreneurial identity; 2) The internal mechanism of how entrepreneur’s self-disclosure affects the team members’ entrepreneurial identity. The results show that in the context of entrepreneurship in China, the self-disclosure of entrepreneurs can promote the entrepreneurial identity of the team members, and the entrepreneurial passion mediates the relationship between them.

Abstract: The task of determining the greatest common divisors (GCD) for several polynomials which arises in image compression, computer algebra and speech encoding can be formulated as a low rank approximation problem with Sylvester matrix. This paper demonstrates a method based on structured total least norm (STLN) algorithm for matrices with Sylvester structure. We demonstrate the algorithm to compute an approximate GCD. Both the theoretical analysis and the computational results show that the method is feasible.

Abstract:
Floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility using partially filled tanks for control of pitch motion response to wave-exciting forces is investigated in this paper. The governing equations for sloshing analysis of rectangular tanks under pitch motion excitation are first established, then the spatial (boundary- value) partial derivatives are approximated by finite differences. The uncoupled pitch equation of FLNG is derived by assuming that pitch is uncoupled from other modes of vibration. By using state-space model to represent fluid-memory effect, the pitch equation can be transformed to first- order ordinary differential equations which can be solved with sloshing equations simultaneously with the given initial conditions. By using the proposed coupling model for FLNG facility and the liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanks, the performance of partially filled tanks for suppressing pitching motions of FLNG facility is numerically assessed. The parametric studies on the example FLNG show that there is a beneficial filling level by which the pitch motion of FLNG can be considerably reduced.

Abstract: Glutathione (GSH) plays important roles in pulmonary diseases, and inhaled GSH therapy has been used to treat cystic fibrosis (CF) patients in clinical trials. The results in this report revealed that GSH altered the sensitivity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to different antibiotics through pathways unrelated to the oxidative stress as generally perceived. In addition, GSH and its oxidized form inhibited the growth of P. aeruginosa.
A modified consensus algorithm for multi-UAV formations based on pigeon-inspired optimization with a slow diving strategy

Abstract: This paper considers the formation control problem for a group of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) employing consensus with different optimizers.A group of UAVs can never accomplish difficult tasks without formation because if disordered they do not work any better than a single vehicle,and a single vehicle is limited by its undeveloped intelligence and insufficient load.Among the many formation methods,consensus has attracted much attention because of its effectiveness and simplicity.However,at the beginning of convergence,overshoot and oscillation are universal because of the limitation of communication and a lack of forecasting,which are inborn shortcomings of consensus.It is natural to modify this method with lots of optimizers.In order to reduce overshoot and smooth trajectories,this paper first adopted particle swarm optimization(PSO),then pigeon-inspired optimization(PIO) to modify the consensus.PSO is a very popular optimizer,while PIO is a new method,both work but still retain disadvantages such as residual oscillation.As a result,it was necessary to modify PIO,and a pigeon-inspired optimization with a slow diving strategy(SD-PIO) is proposed.Convergence analysis was performed on the SD-PIO based on the Banach fixed-point theorem and conditions sufficient for stability were achieved.Finally,a series of comparative simulations were conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Abstract:

Objective: This study aimed to separate and pure chitinase producing actinomycetes with stronger activity from lawn soils of Beijing. Method: Morphology and culture characteristics were observed. physiological and biochemical characteristics were detected. 16SrDNA sequence was analyzed. Result: The highest chitinase activity strain was Bn035, whose relative diameter of transparent circle K2 was 3.42 at which the chitinase activity of fermentation broth reached a maximum value of 1.23 U/mL in the 6th day. Crude enzyme solution and bacteria cake of strain Bn035 generated stronger bacterial resistance to all root rot fungi which indicated that the strain had a strong broad-spectrum resistance to root rot fungi. Conclusion: The strain was identified as Streptomyces scabrisporus. It will be a potential biological control function.

Abstract: Consequent on MHD geometry sensibility phenomena was measured in an accident case; the more detail experiments have been conducted at the liquid metal experimental loop upgrade facility (LMEL-U). The experimental results indicate that MHD pressure drop can be greatly reduced in the special designed ducts. Base on the experimental data, an innovation channel concept (tentatively called as the secondary flow channel, short in “S-channel”) is addressed as a reducing MHD pressure drop channel for the application of a liquid metal blanket system in fusion reactor. It may be a dawn for solving MHD pressure drop key issue of liquid metal blanket system.

Abstract:

The supercritical fluid extraction of Dahurian Angelica Root (Bai Zhi) and Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (Chuan Xiong) was named as BCC. In the study, we investigated whether BCC had effects on left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) and myocardial fibrosis in spontaneous hypertensive rats (SHR). For SHR + BCC group, BCC (0.3 g/kg) was orally administered daily for 12 weeks. The SHR group and the Wistar Kyoto rats (WKY, normal control) group, the equal volume of 5‰ CMC-Na distilled water. After 12 weeks, left ventricle was segregated from each rat in the groups, and the left ventricle weight/body weight (LVW/BW) calculated. The volume fraction of collagen (VFC) in myocardium and the diameter of cardiac muscle cell (DCMC) were examined by histological staining. Biochemical indicators of blood sample such as Angiotensin II (Ang II), Aldosterone (ALD), Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Laminin (LN), Procollagen III (PC III) and Collagen type IV (CIV) levels were detected by using radioimmunoassay (RIA). And also NOS and iNOS levels were measured by means of ultra-violet spectroscopy (UV). The results shown that in SHR + BCC group, the LVW/BW, DCMC and VFC decreased significantly versus SHR group, the same as biochemical indicators except NOS and iNOS. All of above index was similar to WKY group. Statistically significant correlations were found among the plasma Ang II level, the mean systolic blood pressure (SBP), and the NOS level of the three groups. Our study indicates that the BCC can control the LVH and myocardial fibrosis in SHR.

Abstract: Background: Adult hemophagocytic syndrome is a critical condition that is often difficult to diagnose and results in a bad prognosis because of the lack of effective and unified treatment. Aim: To investigate the clinical, diagnosis and treatment of hemophagocytic syndrome. Case Presentation: A 22-year-old female patient received a splenectomy, and the spleen was sent to the King Med Center of Medical Inspection. The results confirmed the diagnosis of hemophagocytic syndrome related to EB (Epstein-Barr) virus infection. Conclusion: Early diagnosis and early intervention are important factors for affecting the progression of the disease and improving its prognosis.
