Wen,Liu; Zailani,Suhaiza; Fernando,Yudi;
Journal of technology management & innovation , 2009, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-27242009000100003
Abstract: the growth of china's economy hinges to a large extent on the ability of the industry to operate more efficiently and effectively in the global supply chain system. china's manufacturing companies should pay attention to adopt more efficient supply chain technologies to provide better services for their customers. china has initially carried out research and development and industrialization of technology related to rfid and begun to apply in some areas in recent years. this article studies the determinant factors of the rfid adoption by manufacturing companies in china. the population of this study is manufacturing companies in china that are registered under federation of china manufacturers. a questionnaire survey is conducted to study the adoption of rfid by china's manufacturing industry. this study reveals that the environment, organization, technology and product have the impact on the adoption of rfid in china. organization should be given strategic attention to improve employee participation in adopting rfid as a strategic tool..
Service Quality Analysis on the Consumer Perceptions Toward Online Ticketing: Evidence in Malaysia
Suhaiza Zailani,Lee Chee Kheng,Yudi Fernando
International Business Management , 2012,
Abstract: The importance of service quality in improving customer satisfaction and loyalty in traditional business settings has been established through the use of such instruments as Servqual. However, these established service quality dimensions, or similar measures, have not been applied to electronic commerce settings. This study investigates consumer perceptions toward online ticketing service quality. Specially, issues relating to the privacy, security, trust, convenience and experience within the consumer perception. The respondent in this study was an individual who had purchased air ticket through the Internet among Malaysian university staffs. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed and 95 questionnaires were collected from the respondents. However, out of the 95 questionnaires that were received, 75 respondents had been purchased air ticket through the Internet. The results showed that privacy, security, convenience and experience were significantly influenced consumer perceptions on online ticketing, while trust factor was not significantly influenced consumer perceptions on online ticketing.

Going Global: The Role and Effect of Leadership Styles in PT Bunga Mawar Indonesia
Siti Rohaida Mohamed Zainal,Roazian Md Nor,Yudi Fernando
IBIMA Business Review , 2011,
Abstract: It is widely acknowledged that among all determinants of employment outcomes, leadership is viewed as an important predictor with a central role (Carli, 1990). It has been long held within the humanistic management perspective that different types of leadership style eventually are leading towards different outcomes. In this era of globalization, the role of leadership in determining the internalization pathways for the company is even more crucial. Due to many environment changes, companies decide to inject a new perspective into their management styles. The issue of globalization for example, has lead many companies to divert their focus to the issues of sustainability. This paradigm shift requires management to solicit the subordinates’ inputs in decision making and/or allow them to ensure that the management receive a warm support from the employees which is embarking to the sustainability journey, it actually begin from the internal groups. Thus, this paper discusses the leadership style of senior manager in medical wastes business in Indonesia. By using the qualitative approach with case study method, there were 13 semi-structured interviews with 35 questions based on the topic used to investigate the role of leader’s leadership styles. Later, all data was transcribed and coded systematically. Based on the results of the interviews, the case analysis is presented, thus at the end, this paper will conclude by recommendations for management of PT Bunga Mawar.
Halal Traceability and Halal Tracking Systems in Strengthening Halal Food Supply Chain for Food Industry in Malaysia (A Review)
Suhaiza Zailani,Zainal Arrifin,Nabsiah Abd Wahid,Rosly Othman,Yudi Fernando
Journal of Food Technology , 2013, DOI: 10.3923/jftech.2010.74.81
Abstract: The Halal industry involves farm-to-table operations. This has led to the development of new links within the value chain most notably in the area of information technology. Given the advancement in science and technology and the on-going initiatives to improve society, it is essential that the Halal concept be fully understood by industry players as well as customers. Halal traceability system and Halal tracking system are emerging as lucrative areas in the global Halal market. An effective traceability and tracking system in Malaysia is essential to mitigate the risks associated with Halal that can disrupt the international trade of Malaysian Halal food. Traceability and tracking systems function as a tool for communication making information available along the supply chain. However, recently Malaysia s latest claim to be one of the Halal hubs in the world was put to test due to the unbelievable result of recent raid carried out by the Malaysia authorities. The finding was appalling and unethical as some so-called Halal foods manufacturers do not comply with the regulation set by the Malaysia authorities. The commotion pertaining to this issue was immense where the Muslim consumers in Malaysia began to question the effectiveness of Halal food traceability and tracking in Malaysia s market. This study is written to discuss on the approaches towards Halal traceability and tracking currently used in Malaysia. Specifically, this study discusses the conceptual architecture on Halal traceability and Halal tracking system for Halal food product in Malaysia.
Integración de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación para la ense?anza de la lengua
Herrera,Yudi;
Folios , 2007,
Abstract: this article presents a review of the integration of ict in language teaching. this text is structured into three sections which promote the educational use of new technologies as cognitive tools, in other words expand the functions of cognitive tools, enhance and reorganize the capabilities of students not as a mere container or transmitter of information. in addition, this article presents an analysis of educational software from the pedagogical approach, focusing on those that promote reflexive learning. finally, three proposals are discussed for the integrating of ict for teaching languages through simulators, webquest and wikis.
Gravitino Dark Matter with Sneutrino NLSP in NUHM
Santoso, Yudi
High Energy Physics - Phenomenology , 2008,
Abstract: The identity of dark matter has not been solved up to this date, a problem that became the main topic of this conference. There are many theoretical candidates for dark matter particle, including gravitino from supergravity models. For gravitino dark matter scenario, the phenomenology depends much on what the next lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP) is. We show here that sneutrino can naturally be the NLSP in the Non-Universal Higgs Masses (NUHM) model, and that this scenario is still phenomenologically viable.
Gravitino Dark Matter with Stop as the NLSP
Santoso, Yudi
High Energy Physics - Phenomenology , 2007,
Abstract: Gravitino is one feasible candidate for the dark matter in supergravity models. With its couplings being suppressed by the Plank mass, gravitino interacts very weakly with other particles, making its direct detection, or production at colliders practically impossible. The signatures of this scenario mainly arise from the next lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP) which is metastable due to the very weak coupling. There are many possibilities for the NLSP, and here I will review the feasibility of stop particle as the NLSP and discuss its phenomenology.

Yudi Herrera
Folios , 2007,
