Brief Discussion on the Origin and Emotion of Ancient Chinese Poetry  [PDF]

Poetry is the earliest literary style in ancient China. It was originally presented as the “trinity of poetry, music and dance” and two words and three words as a form of beat. Ancient poetry originated from the labor production of the ancient society. With the awakening of human subject consciousness and the prosperity of ritual music culture, poetry was vigorously developed in the ritual etiquette and widely used in social life. The concept of “poems endowed with feelings” in ancient poetry theory profoundly summarizes and reveals that emotion is the internal cause of poet’s creation of poetry, and plays the most important feature of judging poetry. The emotional source of poetry’s creation of poetry often comes from the change of time and space, and the consciousness of time and space becomes an important perspective to explore poetry creation and thought and emotion.
Nonlinear optical properties of graphene-based materials

Abstract: Graphene, a two-dimensional carbon atom sheet, has attracted tremendous attention and research interest because of its exceptional physical properties. Graphene has high mobility and optical transparency, in addition to flexibility, robustness and environmental stability. The main focus so far has been on fundamental physics and electronic devices. However, because the linear dispersion of the Dirac electrons enables ultrawideband tunability, we believe its true potential lies in photonics and optoelectronics. In this review, we introduce recent advances in the nonlinear optical properties of graphene-based materials. The rise of graphene in nonlinear optics is shown by several recent results, ranging from saturable absorbers and the four-wave mixing effect to giant two-photon absorption, reverse saturable absorption and optical limiting. The relevant forms of the graphene-based materials include pure graphene, graphene oxide and graphene hybrids.
Bismuth nanowire growth under low deposition rate and its ohmic contact free of interface damage

Abstract: High quality bismuth (Bi) nanowire and its ohmic contact free of interface damage are quite desired for its research and application. In this paper, we propose one new way to prepare high-quality single crystal Bi nanowires at a low deposition rate, by magnetron sputtering method without the assistance of template or catalyst. The slow deposition growth mechanism of Bi nanowire is successfully explained by an anisotropic corner crossing effect, which is very different from existing explanations. A novel approach free of interface damage to ohmic contact of Bi nanowire is proposed and its good electrical conductivity is confirmed by I-V characteristic measurement. Our method provides a quick and convenient way to produce high-quality Bi nanowires and construct ohmic contact for desirable devices.
Analysis on Influencing Elements of Enterprise Logistics Risk Early Warning: Based on Manufacturing Industries in Beijing Area  [PDF]

Enterprise logistics risk early warning is an essential part of enterprise logistics risk management, which has been increasingly drawing the attentions of both practical and academic world. However, enterprise logistics risk early warning hasn’t been radically put into practice yet. Therefore, the factors hinder the proceeding of enterprise logistics risk early warning become the key to starting the engine of enterprise logistics risk early warning. In this paper, review of researches on enterprise logistics risk early warning is provided, a questionnaire has been designed according to both exterior and internal factors influencing enterprise logistics risk early warning and a survey on manufacturing industries in Beijing area has been carried out, logistics risk early warning status and influencing elements have been analyzed based on previous survey and advices proposed are concluded to provide valuable references.

Selective Impairment of Attentional Networks of Alerting in Wilson's Disease

Abstract: Wilson's disease (WD) is typically affected by attention, which is one of the cognitive domains. The Attention Network Test (ANT) was developed to measure the functioning of the following three individual attentional networks: orienting, alerting, and executive control. The ANT has been used in a variety of neuropsychiatric conditions; however, it has not been used in WD. The aim of this study was to investigate the attentional function of WD patients, and 35 patients with early and moderate neurological WD, as well as 35 gender-, age-, and education-matched healthy controls performed the ANT. Remarkable differences between the patients and healthy controls were observed in the alerting network (p = 0.007) in contrast the differences in the orienting (p = 0.729) and executive control (p = 0.888) networks of visual attention. The mean reaction time in the ANT was significantly longer in the WD patients than in the controls (p<0.001, 0.001). In the WD patients, there was an effect specifically on the alerting domain of the attention network, whereas the orienting and executive control domains were not affected.

Abstract: A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of nodes equipped with wireless communications and a networking capability without central network control. Nodes in a MANET are free to move and organize themselves in an arbitrary fashion. Energy-efficient design is a significant challenge due to the characteristics of MANETs such as distributed control, constantly changing network topology, and mobile users with limited power supply. The IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol includes a power saving mechanism, but it has many limitations. A new energy-efficient MAC protocol (EE-MAC) is proposed in this paper. It is shown that EE-MAC performs better than IEEE 802.11 power saving mode and exceeds IEEE 802.11 with respect to balancing network throughput and energy savings.

Abstract: The Changle-Linqu region is situated in the middle Shandong Province, and at the Western block of the Yishu fault belt of Tanlu Fault. There are more than 200 volcanic hills, mainly occurring in the Miocene, Pliocene and Pleistocene in the region. The geological settings, occurrences, facies and the developing characteristics of the fractures and pores of volcanic rocks are systematically investigated in this paper. Four main pore systems are recognized: (1) the volcanic channel facies pore system, characterized by the well developed macro-fracture, semi-fill and pillar-plane joints; (2) the volcanic lava facies net pore system composed of various kind, scale, occurrence, evolution of joints, fractures and pores; (3) volcanic eruption facies pore system, and (4) eruption-deposition facies pore system. The quantitative models of the pore systems are also primarily established.
Geometric properties of composition operators belonging to Schatten classes

Abstract: We investigate the connection between the geometry of the image domain of an analytic function mapping the unit disk into itself and the membership of the composition operator induced by this function in the Schatten classes. The purpose is to provide solutions to Lotto's conjectures and show a new compact composition operator which is not in any of the Schatten classes.
D+ to mu+nu and fD+ from 281 pb-1 at Psi(3770) from CLEO-c

Abstract: We report improved measurements of branching fraction and decay constant fD+ in D+ to mu+nu using 281 pb-1 of data taken on the Psi(3770) resonance with the CLEO-c detector. We extract a relatively precise value for the decay constant of the D+ meson by measuring Br(D+ to mu+nu) = (4.40+-0.66+0.09-0.12)x10^-4 and find fD+ = (222.6+-16.7+2.8-3.4) MeV. We also set 90% confidence upper limit on Br(D+ to e+nu) < 2.4x10^-5 which limits contributions from non-Standard Model physics.
Hadronic branching fractions and DDbar cross-sections at Psi(3770) from CLEO-c

Abstract: We present some recent results in hadronic decays and cross-section measurements at Psi(3770) from CLEO collaboration. They include measurement of absolute hadronic branching fractions of D mesons and e+e- to DDbar cross-sections, inclusive production of eta, eta', phi in D decays, branching fractions of D+ to K0_{S,L} pi+ and eta pi+, Psi(3770) non-DDbar decays, and timelike electromagnetic form factors of pion, kaon and proton. These results are based on 55.8 pb-1 and 281 pb-1 at Psi(3770), and other data samples collected by the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR).
