Abstract: Stimulation of cerebellar interpositus nucleus and fastigial nucleus could influence the neuronal activity of lateral hypothalamic area in the cat, and some of the neurons which respond to the cerebellar stimulations are glucose-sensitive neurons. These results suggest that the cerebellum is involved not only in motor control, but also in the regulation of non-somatic functions through the cerebello-hypothalamic pathways.

Abstract: The performances of diesel contrasted with that of biodiesel, such as HC and CO and NOx and fume and particles discharge, are studied on. The contents of HC, CO, NOx and flue gas are measured by Japan 163 Gas Chromatograph, USA 48 CO Analyser, Japan MEXA-7200H and FBY-201 flue gas analyzer, respectively. The experimental results shows HC dis-charge of biodiesel B20 decreases with the increase of rate of revolution; NOx discharge of biodiesel B5 and biodiesel B20 increase with the increase of torque; NOx discharge increases with the increase of adding biodiesel at the same torque; Flue gas discharge of biodiesel B5 and biodiesel B20 firstly increase and then decrease with the increase of torque; Particle discharge decreases with the increase of the amount of biodiesel.
Modeling and Solution of Economic Dispatch Problem for GTCC Units  [PDF]

Abstract: Economic dispatch problem lies at the kernel among different issues in GTCC units’ operation, which is about minimizing the fuel consumption for a period of operation so as to accomplish optimal load dispatch among units. This paper has analyzed the load dispatch model of gas turbine combined-cycle (GTCC) units and utilizes a quantum genetic algorithm to optimize the solution of the model. The performance of gas turbine combined-cycle units varies with many factors and this directly leads to variation of model parameters. To solve the dispatch problem, variable constraints are adopted to correct the parameters influenced by ambient conditions. In the simulation, comparison of dispatch models for GTCC units considering and not considering the influence of ambient conditions indicates that it is necessary to adopt variable constraints for the dispatch model of GTCC units. To optimize the solution of the model, a Quantum Genetic Algorithm is used considering its advantages in searching performance. QGA combines the quantum theory with evolutionary theory of genetic algorithm. It is a new kind of intelligence algorithm which has been successfully employed in optimization problems. Utilizing quantum code, quantum gate and so on, QGA shows flexibility, high convergent rate, and global optimal capacity and so on. Simulations were performed by building up models and optimizing the solutions of the models by QGA. QGA shows better effect than equal micro incremental method used in the previous literature. The operational economy is proved by the results obtained by QGA. It can be concluded that QGA is quite effective in optimizing economic dispatch problem of GTCC units.
Empirical Research on Relationship of Caddies’ Reward Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention  [PDF]

Abstract: Based on the situation of turnover of golf caddies, we study the relationship of caddies’ reward satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in Shenzhen, China. The research shows that 1) caddies’ gender, education, grade, and years of working make a significant difference in turnover intention; 2) caddies’ reward satisfaction has a significant positive impact on organizational commitment, caddies’ reward satisfaction, organizational commitment has a significant negative impact on turnover intention, and affective commitment and continuance commitment have a significant negative impact on turnover intention; 3) caddies’ organizational commitment tends to mediate between the relationship of reward satisfaction and turnover intention. This paper also proposes some recommendations to improve caddies’ reward satisfaction, organizational commitment, and reduce the turnover intention for golf club managers.

Abstract: To carry out contextualized research on theory of dynamic capabilities under the perspective of the knowledge-based, and explore the mechanism of international enterprises to enhance innovation performance in the Chinese context, also to build a theoretical model between “the Chinese context-dynamic capabilities-innovation performance”, this study makes an attempt to theoretical research and management practices with combining the Chinese context. The study finds that building dynamic capability is the inevitable result of enterprises to survive and develop in the Chinese context, and it makes a contribution to knowledge transferring, sharing and creating in the international market, ultimately to enhance innovation performance, overcome latecomer disadvantages.

Abstract: More and more enterprises are revealed to do something about pseudo social responsibility under the guise of social responsibility; it makes the rationality of the existence of experience of social responsibility a crisis of confidence. However, this phenomenon has not obtained the academic attention, and related studies are particularly scarce. On the basis of summarizing and combing existing literature, we defined pseudo corporate social responsibility, summarized the motivation of pseudo social responsibility in economic interests, the external environment, and the risk of exposed punishment, and described the harm of pseudo social responsibility from the micro and macro levels. Finally, we tried to put forward relevant policies to prevent pseudo social responsibility.
Consumer Environmental Awareness and Coordination in Closed-Loop Supply Chain  [PDF]

Abstract: Considering the impact of products’ eco-friendly level on demand, a two-stage closed-loop supply chain composed by a single manufacturer and a single retailer is constructed. Under both decentralized and centralized decision-making models, the paper deeply researches into the difference of supply chain system in economic benefits, environmental protection and social benefits, and a revenue sharing contract is applied to realize coordination between the manufacture and the retailer. The results show that the system of supply chain in centralized decision-making model is more efficient than that in decentralized decision-making model in economic benefits, environmental protection and social benefits, and the revenue sharing contract can coordinate the supply chain very well. Under two decision-making models, the products’ eco-friendly level, return rate and profit of the node enterprise are positively correlated to the consumer environmental awareness, and negatively correlated to the price sensitivity as well as the cost parameter of green investment; the price is positively correlated to the scaling parameter of collecting and handling; return rate and profit of the node enterprise are negatively correlated, and products’ eco-friendly level is irrelevant.
An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Green Supplier Development and Firm Performance  [PDF]

Abstract: Suppliers have important influence to the enterprise in terms of product and service cost, quality and delivery. Enterprises need to implement supplier development to improve suppliers’ supply capabilities, and promote partnership with suppliers, so as to achieve the improvement of business efficiency. This paper defines green supplier development, divides them into direct green supplier development and indirect green supplier development, and puts forward the research hypothesis of the relationship between green supplier development and supplier relationship and firm performance. Then, using the method of questionnaire survey to collect data, according to the statistical analysis of the 259 questionnaires, the results show that the first, direct green supplier development has positive influence on the economic performance and environmental performance, but the influence of indirect green supplier development on the economic performance of enterprises is not significant. Second, supplier partnership plays a role in the influence of green supplier development on the economic performance and environmental performance.
Association Study of Candidate Gene Polymorphisms with Amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment in a Chinese Population

Abstract: To investigate the relationship between amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) and candidate gene polymorphisms in a Chinese population, 116 aMCI patients and 93 normal controls were recruited. Multi-dimensional neuropsychological tests were used to extensively assess the cognitive functions of the subjects. MassARRAY and iPLEX systems were used to measure candidate single nucleotide polymorohisms (SNPs) and analyse allelic, genotypic or haplotypic distributions. The scores of the neuropsychological tests were significantly lower for the aMCI patients than for the normal controls. The distributions of SNPs relating to the amyloid cascade hypothesis (TOMM40 rs157581 G and TOMM40 rs2075650 G), to the cholesterol metabolism hypothesis (ApoE rs429358 C, LDLR rs11668477 G and CH25H rs7091822 T and PLAU rs2227564 CT) and to the tau hypothesis (MAPT/STH rs242562 GG) in aMCI were significantly different than those in normal controls. Interactions were also found in aMCI amongst SNPs in LDLR rs11668477, PLAU rs2227564, and TOMM40 rs157581, between SNPs in TOMM40 rs157580 and BACE2 rs9975138. The study suggests that aMCI is characterised by memory impairment and associated with SNPs in three systems relating to the pathogenesis of AD-those of the amyloid cascade, tau and cholesterol metabolism pathways. Interactions were also observed between genes in the amyloid pathway and between the amyloid and cholesterol pathways.
