Study on the Economic Growth of Patent Output in the High-tech Industry

Abstract: This paper makes the empirical research for the relationship between patent output and economic growth in the high-tech industry by panel data model. On the whole, the result shows that there is a significant long-run equilibrium relationship between patent output and economic growth. Moreover they are the Granger reason mutually, with the interactive mechanism. Patent output contributes to economic growth with a significant lagged effect, displaying the function of patent output is a dynamic accumulation process. Subsequently, through constructing the individual fixed effect regression model and analyzing it, this paper finds that there is the conspicuous difference among the spontaneous effects of economic growth among high-tech industry. Finally, this paper proposes that the science and technology input should be arranged reasonably according to the various development characteristic of each industry, instead of one-sidedly pursuing the equalization in industry distribution of the science and technology input.

Abstract: Palladium-catalyzed the Sonogashira coupling reaction of 3-halogen-2-aminopyridines 1 with terminal alkynes 2 afforded the corresponding 21 target products 3a-3u in the presence of palladium catalyst. The structure of target products 3a-3u was confirmed and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and HRMS. The influences of different kinds of catalyst loading, bases, substrates and temperature were also investigated. Under the optimized conditions, including 2.5 mol% Pd?(CF3COO)2, 5 mol% PPh3 and 5 mol% CuI as additive, 1 mL Et3N, substrate 1 with terminal alkynes 2 for the cross-coupling reactions at 100°C for 3 h in DMF afforded the corresponding products of 2-amino-3-alkynylpyridines 3 in moderate to excellent yields (72%?-?96%). We apply the object-oriented robust factor analysis R package robustfa to the 28 financial indicators of the 100 listed companies in China’s Chinese Securities Index (CSI) 100 index in the first quarter of 2013. First of all, according to the size of the data, we automatically choose a robust estimator, the robust Ogk estimator. By the Mahalanobis distances which are computed by the robust Ogk estimator, greater than the critical value, we find a total of 47 abnormal points. This paper discovers that the results of the sample correlation matrix, the rotated factor loading matrix, the contribution of the factors to the original variables, the contribution rate, the cumulative contribution rate, the screeplot of the eigenvalues of the sample correlation matrix, the scatter plot of the first two factor scores, factor scores, and the sorted scores according to factor scores etc. computed by the classical estimator and the robust Ogk estimator are quite different. Finally, we condense the 28 financial indicators to 5 factors by combining the principal component analysis method and the robust Ogk estimator: Provident fund market value factor, profit factor, market value profit rate factor, value per share factor, and asset liability factor. Finally, we sort the 5 factor scores from high to low of each factor, and also get some special stocks according to the factor scores. The robust factor analysis results provide a good basis for investors to choose the stocks.

A Literature Review on Studies of Cultural Contents in English Textbooks for Chinese Senior High School from 2003 to 2018  [PDF]

Abstract: Since the trial implementation of the English Curriculum Standards for Senior High School in 2003, which lists cultural awareness as one of the five vital objectives in English instruction, studies on cultural contents in English textbooks have increased greatly. The release of the five key competencies which includes cultural awareness in the 2017 edition of curriculum standards led to another surge of textbook research on cultural contents. This study reviews studies of cultural contents in English textbooks for Chinese senior high school from 2003 to 2018 and finds that the studies mainly focus on the compilation and selection of cultural contents in English textbooks. The generalized deficiencies of previous studies like leaky classification framework and loose statistical analysis can offer some enlightenment to future researchers.
An Energy-Aware Distributed Unequal Clustering Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract: Due to the imbalance of energy consumption of nodes in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), some local nodes die prematurely, which causes the network partitions and then shortens the lifetime of the network. The phenomenon is called “hot spot” or “energy hole” problem. For this problem, an energy-aware distributed unequal clustering protocol (EADUC) in multihop heterogeneous WSNs is proposed. Compared with the previous protocols, the cluster heads obtained by EADUC can achieve balanced energy, good distribution, and seamless coverage for all the nodes. Moreover, the complexity of time and control message is low. Simulation experiments show that EADUC can prolong the lifetime of the network significantly. 1. Introduction A wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of thousands of low-cost, low-power, and tiny sensor nodes which can be widely used in military, national security, environmental science, traffic management, disaster prediction, medical, manufacturing industry, and city information construction. As sensor networks have limited and nonrechargeable energy resources, energy efficiency is a very important issue in designing the topology, which affects the lifetime of sensor networks greatly. Clustering is proved to be an effective scheme in increasing the scalability and lifetime of WSNs. In clustering schemes, sensor nodes are grouped into clusters and a main node is selected as the cluster head (CH) of a cluster and the other nodes are called cluster members (CMs) [1]. Each CM collects local data from the environment periodically and then sends it to the CH. When the data from all the CMs arrives, the CHs aggregate the data and send it to the BS. As CHs are responsible for receiving and aggregating the data from their CMs, and transmitting the aggregated data to a long distance, The energy consumption of CHs is much larger than that of CMs. In order to balance the energy among nodes, most clustering algorithms divide the operation into rounds and periodically rotate the roles of CHs in the network. However, there is one more question. Energy consumption among cluster heads is imbalanced due to the distance to the BS. In single-hop networks, CHs farther away from the BS need to transmit data to a long distance. Therefore, the energy of CHs farther away from the BS is larger than that of the CHs closer to the BS. In multihop networks, CHs closer to the BS undertake data forwarding, which means that the energy consumption of CHs closer to the BS is larger. Abstract: 摘要 基于消费者的策略行为,构建关于退货运费险的数学对比模型,研究在消费者估值不确定条件下报童型零售商的预售策略和退货运费险决策问题,得到最优预售折扣系数和最优退款额。通过Matlab数值仿真发现:无论零售商是否给预购消费者购买退货运费险,其最优退款额都等于产品的单位成本,然而购买退货运费险,可以制定一个更高的预售价,并且减小库存风险;只有在退货运费处于非常小的范围内时,零售商购买运费险可能会为其带来损失,但是在大部分情况下,购买运费险会给零售商带来巨大收益

Abstract: High-contrast is one of the main advantages in laser projection display, and the method of DCC (Dynamic Contrast Control) is the main way to increase the contrast. Generally, image pre-processing is necessary for eliminating noise and decreasing the over-highlight. In this paper, we proposed and actualized a method by following 3 steps: Firstly, the original image was analyzed statistically to get the scope of gray-scale distribution and average gray-scale; and then the image was divided into a number of sub-images. The sub-images whose pixels are higher than a certain threshold in both number and range, are applied image segmentation by certain growth rules. The sub-images satisfied with the growth rules are marked 1, and the rests are marked 0. Secondly, the sub-images are uniting. A sub-image has 3 relations between 8 sub-images around it: 1 and 1, 1 and 0, 0 and 0. The sub-images marked 1 are uniting together, and the sub-images marked 0 are uniting together. Without affecting the visual vision, all over-highlight pixels were reduced in a certain proportion. Lastly, based on the application of DCC, the whole image signals were enlarged and the brightness of light sources were reduced, so as to achieve the desired effect in contrast enhancement.

This paper concerns a continuous-time portfolio selection problem with inflation in an incomplete market. By using the approach of more general stochastic linear quadratic control technique (SLQ), we obtain the optimal strategy and efficient frontier to this problem. Furthermore, a numerical example is also provided.
