Abstract:
“Huaqiao 2” is a new chestnut (Castanea mollissima) cultivar developed from seeding tree by Xiangtan Research Institute of Forestry Sciences. It comes into blossom 2-3 years after planting. It has early maturity, good quality and glossy surface. The average mass of fruit is 16.2 g. The yield is 6900 kg·hm﹣2 (yield of test tree), with high and stable yield, and suitable for planting in the neutral to acidic gravel soil. Xiangtan Research Institute of Forestry Sciences has built some successful “Huaqiao 2” chestnut orchards.

Abstract:
The energy momentum tensor of perfect fluid is a simplified but successful model in astrophysics. In this paper, assuming the particles driven by gravity and moving along geodesics, we derived the functions of state in detail. The results show that, these functions have a little correction for the usual thermodynamics. The new functions naturally satisfy the causal condition and consist with relativity. For the self-potentials of the particles, we introduce an extra function W, which acts like negative pressure and can be used to describe dark matter. The results are helpful to understand the relation and interaction between space-time and matter.

Abstract:
In this paper, we discuss the equation of state for nonlinear spinor gases in the context of cosmology. The mean energy momentum tensor is similar to that of the prefect fluid, but an additional function of state W is introduced to describe the nonlinear potential. The equation of state w(a)^-1 in the early universe is calculated, which provides a natural explanation for the negative pressure of dark matter and dark energy. W may be also the main origin of the cosmological constant L. So the nonlinear spinor gases may be a candidate for dark matter and dark energy.
Expressing activity of promoter elements of large intergenic region from cotton leaf curl virus in host plant

Abstract: Cotton leaf curl virus (CLCuV) is a type of single-stranded DNA virus, belonging to geminivirus of subgroup III. In order to determine the function of CLCuV large intergenic region (LIR), total DNA of CLCuV-infected cotton leaves was used as template, and fragment of LIR was obtained by PCR and inserted into clone vector. The fragment of LIR was fused withgus reporter gene andnos terminator in the orientation of transcription of virion sense and complementary sense respectively, and the plant expression vectors were constructed. GUS activity ofAgrobacterium-mediated transgenic tobacco was measured. The result indicated that LIR showed strong promoter activity in complementary sense gene orientation. Average GUS activity of the complementary sense promoter was 5–6 times that of CaMV 35S promoter, and the highest GUS activity of individual plant was ten times of that of CaMV 35S promoter. Histochemical localization confirmed its activity in both mesophyll and vascular tissues. Activity of virion sense of LIR was rather low. Thus LIR isolated from CLCuV could be used as a novel strong promoter in plant genetic manipulation.

Primary Small-Cell Carcinoma of the Palate with Cushing’s Syndrome: A Case Report

Abstract: We report a 24-year-old woman presenting with a relapsed soy-bean-size tender mass at the junction of the soft and hard palate and a history of palatine tumor of small cell carcinoma. Reexcision surgery was performed and histopathological features were consistent. The patient was treated with six cycles of chemotherapy consisting of etoposide and cisplatin. After one year, the patient developed bone metastases and Cushing's syndrome, and successfully recovered with subsequent chemotherapy with irinotecan and cisplatin plus radiotherapy. There was no evidence of recurrence or metastasis for more than three years. Small cell carcinoma originating in the head and neck region has been reported to be highly aggressive and has a poor prognosis. This is the first case report of a patient with relapsed primary small cell carcinoma of the palate and successfully treated with second-line chemotherapy and local radiotherapy.

Abstract: Geminivirus is a kind of single-stranded DNA virus. Experimental results from tomato golden mosaic virus (TGMV) showed that expression pattern of coat protein gene (cp) promoter was phloem specifically expressed. In this note, the studies oncp promoter of cotton leaf curl virus (CLCuV) which is found and identified recently suggest that the promoter is not phloem specifically expressed. The expressing activity ofgus gene driven by the promoter exists not only in phloem but also in mesophyll tissues and root tip meristem. Transient expression suggests thatcp promoter transactivated by AC2 shows expressing activity in mesophyll and vascular tissue of leaf vein.

Introduction Extrapulmonary small-cell carcinoma (EPSCC) is a relatively rare disease accounting for 0.1–0.4% of all malignancy and 2.5–4% of small-cell carcinoma [1, 2]. In the head and neck regions, the most common primary subsites are the salivary gland, nasal cavity, paranasal sinus, tonsil, larynx, and tongue [3, 4]. However, to our knowledge, small-cell carcinoma has never been reported to occur in the palate before. We presented a case of relapsed palate small-cell carcinoma accompanied with Cushing’s syndrome and successfully treated with chemoradiotherapy. 2. Case Presentation A 24-year-old woman had a history that included the excision of palate tumor in an outside hospital in February 2008. The tumor was a 2.5 × 1.5 × 1.5?cm mass, and the histopathologic examination showed small, round neoplastic cells with scant cytoplasm and hyperchromatic nuclei. The diagnosis of small-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the palate was determined and no adjuvant chemotherapy or radiotherapy was performed after surgery. The patient was free from tumor until November 2008, when signs of recurrence in the primary lesion were detected during a follow-up visit. Then she was transferred to our hospital for further treatment. Physical examination found a soy-bean-size, tender mass at the junction of soft and hard palate fixed to the underlying tissues. No clinical evidence of lymphadenopathy was present. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed an ill-defined mass of the palate. Computer tomography (CT) scans of the brain, chest, and abdomen, as well as radionuclide bone scan (ECT) were carefully examined to look for signs of metastatic disease. There

Abstract: Under the circumstances of globalization, collaboration between organizations becomes an important topic in the field of strategy management. With an increase of nonprofit organization in scale and number, it has been a new choice that enterprise builds collaborative relationship with nonprofit organization. Considering the different characteristic of two organizations, this paper begins with different motives of collaboration between enterprise and nonprofit organization and then explores many kinds of modes of collaboration. By describing the social embeddedness of organization behavior, this paper sets forth the concept and formation mechanism of collaborative network. Future research on collaboration between enterprise and nonprofit organization would be strengthened in effect and management of collaboration based on network theory.
