Studies on Seismic Identification and Reinforcement Design of Building Structures  [PDF]

Abstract: China is a country with many earthquakes. Seismic safety monitoring and building earthquake-proofing technique are important means to protect the safety of people’s property in China. However, up to now, China’s seismic reinforcement and identification technology is still not mature enough. In particular, the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake caused great loss of life and safety to the Chinese people. This paper, takes seismic identification and reinforcement technology of building structures as the research object and summarizes the main methods of building structure seismic resistance in China. This paper is based on an in-depth analysis of the main seismic reinforcement and identification techniques in China, deeply analyzes the crux of anti-seismic and reinforcement of building structure combining with the current building seismic reinforcement typical cases, and puts forward some reasonable suggestions and improvement methods for the future development of building seismic identification and reinforcement design.
Square Neurons, Power Neurons, and Their Learning Algorithms  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, we introduce the concepts of square neurons, power neu-rons, and new learning algorithms based on square neurons, and power neurons. First, we briefly review the basic idea of the Boltzmann Machine, specifically that the invariant distributions of the Boltzmann Machine generate Markov chains. We further review ABM (Attrasoft Boltzmann Machine). Next, we review the θ-transformation and its completeness, i.e. any function can be expanded by θ-transformation. The invariant distribution of the ABM is a θ-transformation; therefore, an ABM can simulate any distribution. We review the linear neurons and the associated learning algorithm. We then discuss the problems of the exponential neurons used in ABM, which are unstable, and the problems of the linear neurons, which do not discriminate the wrong answers from the right answers as sharply as the exponential neurons. Finally, we introduce the concept of square neurons and power neurons. We also discuss the advantages of the learning algorithms based on square neurons and power neurons, which have the stability of the linear neurons and the sharp discrimination of the exponential neurons.

Abstract: More and more enterprises are revealed to do something about pseudo social responsibility under the guise of social responsibility; it makes the rationality of the existence of experience of social responsibility a crisis of confidence. However, this phenomenon has not obtained the academic attention, and related studies are particularly scarce. On the basis of summarizing and combing existing literature, we defined pseudo corporate social responsibility, summarized the motivation of pseudo social responsibility in economic interests, the external environment, and the risk of exposed punishment, and described the harm of pseudo social responsibility from the micro and macro levels. Finally, we tried to put forward relevant policies to prevent pseudo social responsibility.
Education, Human Capital and Economic Growth: Empirical Research on 55 Countries and Regions (1960-2009)  [PDF]

Abstract: This article constructed a panel data model to investigate the effect of education human capital on economic growth, using the latest education data of 55 countries and regions from 1960 to 2009. Meantime, by subdividing education human capital into higher education, secondary education and primary education, it also examines the effect of different education level on economic growth. Furthermore, while introducing health human capital into the model, we explored the influence of different economic development level and some important historical events. The result shows that in general, education human capital has a significant positive impact on economic growth. The positive impact of higher education on economic growth is especially significant, however, the primary education and secondary education does not have a significant impact on economic growth; as for human capital, life expectancy and per capita GDP growth also showed a significant positive correlation.

Abstract: In today’s increasingly fashionable design society, the design of fashion products requires designers to have advanced consciousness and innovative spirit. Concept design is undoubtedly the most consistent with the development trend of the field of design theory. However, related studies are still scarce. This paper explains the definition of conceptual design and the conceptual design features of fashion products. Furthermore, some principles and methods of carrying out conceptual design of fashion products are analyzed preliminarily, with a view to further theoretical framework of fashion product conceptual design and its methods, to provide guidance for the development of design activities.

Abstract: Hornik, Stinchcombe & White have shown that the multilayer feed forward networks with enough hidden layers are universal approximators. Roux & Bengio have proved that adding hidden units yield a strictly improved modeling power, and Restricted Boltzmann Machines (RBM) are universal approximators of discrete distributions. In this paper, we provide yet another proof. The advantage of this new proof is that it will lead to several new learning algorithms. We prove that the Deep Neural Networks implement an expansion and the expansion is complete. First, we briefly review the basic Boltzmann Machine and that the invariant distributions of the Boltzmann Machine generate Markov chains. We then review the θ-transformation and its completeness, i.e. any function can be expanded by θ-transformation. We further review ABM (Attrasoft Boltzmann Machine). The invariant distribution of the ABM is a θ-transformation; therefore, an ABM can simulate any distribution. We discuss how to convert an ABM into a Deep Neural Network. Finally, by establishing the equivalence between an ABM and the Deep Neural Network, we prove that the Deep Neural Network is complete.

Abstract: Labor Disputes in China increasingly presents complex and diversified its settlement mechanism in practice exposed many drawbacks in the stage of the proceedings and it lacks timely and effective solution. However, labor relations are the most basic and wide social relations, if the labor dispute can not be solved promptly or handled improperly, it will affect the entire social and economic development and social harmony, stability. We should perfect interface between the cut-trial relations, strengthen the judicial supervision of arbitration, and establish arbitration legal authority. Key words: Labor disputes; Flexibility; Flexible handling Résumé Les conflits de travail dans la présente Chine est de plus en plus complexe et diversifié par son mécanisme de règlement dans la pratique de nombreux inconvénients exposés dans le stade de la procédure et il lui manque une solution rapide et efficace. Cependant, les relations de travail sont les relations les plus fondamentaux et de vaste sociaux, si le conflit de travail ne peut pas être résolu rapidement ou n’est pas manipulé correctement, il aura une incidence sur l’ensemble du développement social et économique et l’harmonie sociale, la stabilité. Nous devrions parfaire l’interface entre les relations de coupe au procès, de renforcer le contr le judiciaire de l’arbitrage, et rétablir l’autorité de l’arbitrage juridique.
