Energy-Constrained Duty-Cycle Optimization for Wireless Implanted Communication Devices  [PDF]

Abstract: Energy minimization is an important goal in wireless implanted communication devices. In this context, a cross-layer method is used to optimize parameters in different layers of OSI model, but, there are still several challenges affecting the optimization algorithm. The first point is the accurate energy model, and the second point is the suitable channel model exclude traditional free space channel model. In this paper, we establish a system level accurate energy consumption model and build a suitable channel model for implanted communication devices; analysis the energy-constrained duty cycle optimization with a cross-layer method. Simulation results reveal that adaptive duty cycle to minimize the energy consumption of the wireless implanted communication system is implemented based on accurate energy consumption model and channel model. Simulation results show a good performance on energy saving.

The present paper deals with results of explicit traveling wave solutions for some coupled BBM equations. By detailed computation and using the ('/G)-expansion method, many traveling wave solutions are given. These traveling waves are in the form of hyperbolic functions, the trigonometric functions and the rational functions, which show the reliability and efficiency of the used method.

Based on the literature review which concludes the Lean Six Sigma management theory, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and the key success factors of Information Technology service management (ITSM), this paper analyzes the present situation of information system in G bank and also the challenge it is facing. Furthermore, this paper puts forward a process optimization scheme for the production changes of G bank’s ITSM with the Lean Six Sigma management theory. What’s more, the paper dissects the production changes of G bank’s ITSM by means of DMAIC method in order to achieve these four goals: Firstly, optimizing the process and improving the internal work efficiency also. Secondly, reducing the variation and the error rate and also improving the system availability. Thirdly, strengthen the business interaction in order that the IT value could be reflected preferably. The last but not least, cutting the overtime is to improve employee satisfaction. But improving the ITSM of the banking industry is our ultimate aim.

The Customer Satisfaction Research of 7-ELEVEn Stores in Hong Kong  [PDF]

Using the 7-ELEVEn stores in Hong Kong as an example, this paper has studied customer satisfaction from the point of view of the enterprise. This paper has established a retail enterprise customer satisfaction model based on CCSI models. The secondary indexes of this customer satisfaction model include the following content: enterprise/brand image, quality expectations (shopping environment of convenience stores), quality perception (staff’s service quality), value perception, customer satisfaction, complaints and loyalty of customers and there are also 18 indexes in third class indicators. With the principal component analysis, it can be found that three important factors were value and overall satisfaction, employee service quality, shopping environment and brand image, besides three satisfaction factors were shopping environment, the staff’s service quality and perceived value. The aim of this paper is to provide reference for the key of enterprise’s future work and also for the optimal distribution of resources.

In this paper, a main structure of DC distributed power system is introduced; the stability of the output voltage in parallel system is put forward. This paper analyses the output impedance of master-slave current sharing mode and average current sharing, analyses the stability of parallel system through simulation, there is Right-half plane (RHP) polar in the Bode plot of input impedance. At last this paper distinguishes whether this system is stability and verifies the validity of the simulation.

Genetic Algorithm Optimized CCEM for Complex Topology

Abstract: To evaluate how much two different complex topologies are similar to each other in a quantitative way is an essential procedure in large-scale topology researches and still remains an NP problem. Cross-correlation evaluation model (CCEM) together with Genetic Algorithm (GA) is introduced in this paper trying to solve this issue. Experiments have proved that SLS (Signless Laplacian Spectra) is capable of identifying a topology structure and CCEM is capable of distinguishing the differences between corresponding topology SLS eigenvectors. CCEM used in GA is recommended at last since a way of not finding the optimum solution in GA is a good way to reduce computing complexity.
Human cytomegalovirus IE2 protein interacts with transcription activating factors

Abstract: The human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) IE86 cDNA was cloned into pGEX-2T and fusion protein GST-IE86 was expressed inE. coli. SDS-PAGE and Western blot assay indicated that fusion protein GST-IE86 with molecular weight of 92 ku is soluble in the supernatant of cell lysate. Protein GST and fusion protein GST-IE86 were purified by affinity chromatography. The technology of co-separation and specific affinity chromatography was used to study the interactions of HCMV IE86 protein with some transcriptional regulatory proteins and transcriptional factors. The results indicated that IE86 interacts separately with transcriptional factor TFIIB and promoter DNA binding transcriptiontrans-activating factors SP1, AP1 and AP2 to form a heterogenous protein complex. These transcriptionaltrans-activating factors, transcriptional factor and IE86 protein were adsorbed and retained in the affinity chromatography simultaneously. But IE86 protein could not interact with NF-κB, suggesting that the function of IE86 protein that can interact with transcriptional factor and transcriptionaltrans-activating factors has no relevance to protein glycosylation. IE86 protein probably has two domains responsible for binding transcriptionaltrans-activating regulatory proteins and transcriptional factors respectively, thus activating the transcription of many genes. The interactions accelerated the assembly of the transcriptional initiation complexes.

Abstract: ABSTRACT: Relapse and metastasis are the main causes responsible for failure of surgical operation in treating malignant tumors. This article introduces the present development in post-operation treatment of lung cancer, liver cancer and stomach cancer, showing that the synthetic treatment by stages combined with traditional Chinese medicine is the important way to prevent and treat the post-operation relapse and metastasis of tumors, and suggesting the optimized method for treatment.
Effects of Xuanyinning Recipe on invasion of SPC-A-1 cells and pathomorphological changes of peritoneum in mice inoculated with sarcoma 180

Abstract: Objective: To observe the effects of Xuanyinning Recipe (XYNR) in inhibiting SPC-A-1 cellular infiltration and on the pathomorphological changes of peritoneum in mice inoculated with sarcoma 180 (S180). Methods: On the bases of isolated culture of mouse peritoneal mesothelial cells, we adjusted and added the human lung adenocarcinoma cell line SPC-A-1 into the double-layer culture medium to observe the number of clones formed. We also took out the peritoneum from the mice administered with three different dosages of XYNR and observed its pathomorphological changes with transmission electron microscope. Results: In the in vitro experiment, the number of clones of SPC-A-1 in culture medium with XYNR (50 μg/ml) decreased distinctly. In the in vivo experiment, it was observed that, in the peritoneum from the XYNR-treated mice inoculated with S180, the mesothelial cells arranged more and more regularly with the increasing of the dosage of XYNR, while the mesothelial cells in the peritoneum of the mice in the control group necrosed and arranged loosely. Conclusion: XYNR can inhibit the invasion of SPC-A-1 cells. It also can improve the loose arrangement of the peritoneal mesothelial cells in mice inoculated with S180, so as to inhibit the malignant effusion.
