Gypsum karst in China.

Abstract: The Peoples Republic of China has the largest gypsum resources in the world and a long history of their exploitation. The gypsum deposits range in age from Pre-Cambrian to Quaternary and their genesis includes marine, lacustrine, thermal (volcanic and metasomatic), metamorphic and secondary deposits. The gypsum is commonly associated with other soluble rocks such as carbonates and salt. These geological conditions, regional climate differences and tectonic setting strongly influence the karstification process resulting in several karst types in China. Well developed gypsum palaeokarst and some modem gypsum karst is present in the Fengfeng Formation (Ordovician) gypsum of the Shanxi and Hebei Provinces. Collapse columns filled with breccia emanate upwards from this karst and affect the overlying coalfields causing difficult and hazardous mining conditions. Gypsum karst is also recorded in the middle Cambrian strata of Guizhou Province and the Triassic strata of Guizhou and Sichuan Provinces. Gypsum-salt lake karst has developed in the Pleistocene to Recent enclosed basin deposits within the Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Plateau.
Structure of Peer-to-Peer Social Networks

Abstract: This paper presents a statistical analysis of the structure of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) social networks that captures social associations of distributed peers in resource sharing. Peer social networks appear to be mainly composed of pure resource providers that guarantee high resource availability and reliability of P2P systems. The major peers that both provide and request resources are only a small fraction. The connectivity between peers, including undirected, directed (out and in) and weighted connections, is scale-free and the social networks of all peers and major peers are small world networks. The analysis also confirms that peer social networks show in general disassortative correlations, except that active providers are connected between each other and by active requesters. The study presented in this paper gives a better understanding of peer relationships in resource sharing, which may help a better design of future P2P networks and open the path to the study of transport processes on top of real P2P topologies.

Abstract: 发展和完善了变形加固理论;提出结构失稳的严格定义及其集合逻辑表述,发展了基于塑性余能及其变分的结构稳定性判剧;完善了最小塑性余能原理的证明,指出它是结构平衡条件、变形协调条件和本构关系的集中体现.提出结构整体稳定性可以用结构整体安全度与塑性余能的关系曲线来描述的新思路,并应用于高拱坝整体稳定性评价.结果表明,变形加固理论为评价高拱坝的整体稳定性、坝踵开裂、坝趾锚固、断层加固等高拱坝关键技术问题提供了统一和实用的理论框架和基础.

Abstract: As for the importance of stability problem of the high shiplock slope of the Three Gorges Project, the back analyses for the mechanical parameters of rock masses are proposed by elestic and visco-elasto-plastic model according to the measured and geologic data. With the obtained parameters, the shiplock is analyzed by 3D nonlinear FEM and the monolithic stability and safety are evaluated.

Abstract: 采用饱和渗流模型,对降雨入渗条件下三峡船闸边坡渗流场的非稳态变化情况进行了分析。结果表明,在降雨量较大时,降雨入渗对高边坡的渗流场还是有一定影响的,但由于排水洞的作用,不会在边坡的浅部和船闸直立墙附近造成过高的压力水头。因此,降雨入渗对高边坡的稳定影响不大。

Abstract: 为模拟天然岩体中裂隙对渗流的影响,基于裂隙的空间形态及分布的统计特性,应用裂隙网络随机模拟技术,采用Matlab程序生成二维裂隙网络.由此裂隙网络生成包含裂隙的有限元计算网格.考虑到渗流场数值模拟分析时步多、计算量大的问题,采用基于element-by-element策略的有限元并行计算方法进行数值模拟.该方法不集成整体刚度矩阵,可有效节省存储量,同时可降低共轭梯度法中的迭代次数,提高收敛性.编制相应的模拟分析并行程序,并在分布存储的并行机上实现.分别对包含1,2组裂隙的岩体进行渗流场的数值模拟.计算结果表明,该方法能够较真实地反映裂隙岩体的实际状态,对于模拟岩体中的裂隙是很有效的;同时,并行计算可有效降低数值模拟的计算时间.

Abstract:

The introduction of an exponential or power law gradient in the interstellar medium (ISM) allows to produce an asymmetric evolution of the supernova remnant (SNR) when the framework of the thin layer approximation is adopted. Unfortunately both the exponential and power law gradients for the ISM do not have a well defined physical meaning. The physics conversely is well represented by an isothermal self-gravitating disk of particles whose velocity is everywhere Maxwellian. We derived a law of motion in the framework of the thin layer approximation with a control parameter of the swept mass. The photon’s losses, which are often neglected in the thin layer approximation, are modeled trough velocity dependence. The developed framework is applied to SNR 1987A and the three observed rings are simulated.
