Abstract: The paper takes the Shanghai-Nanjing expressway as the research subject and takes the samples of the Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) on both sides of the highway as samples to analyze the pollution and the pattern of pollution distribution. The study shows that the concentration of TSP is very high, even six times of the national limit value.

Abstract: The Davydov D1 ansatz, which assigns an individual bosonic trajectory to each spin state, is an efficient, yet extremely accurate trial state for time-dependent variation of the sub-Ohmic spin-boson model [J. Chem. Phys. 138, 084111 (2013)]. A surface hopping algorithm is developed employing the Davydov D1 ansatz to study the spin dynamics with a sub-Ohmic bosonic bath. The algorithm takes into account both coherent and incoherent dynamics of the population evolution in a unified manner, and compared with semiclassical surface hopping algorithms, hopping rates calculated in this work follow more closely the Marcus formula.

Change of the resonant electron orbit from trapped orbit to passing orbit in fast wave current drive

Abstract: In fast wave current drive, the resonant electron is accelerated by fast wave in the direction parallel to the static magnetic field, and the parallel velocity will be increased. The trajectories of the trapped resonant electrons are calculated with a computer code in which fast wave-induced diffusion in velocity space is accounted for by a quasi-linear operator. The simulation results show that the orbit of trapped resonant electron will change from a trapped orbit to a passing orbit in some cases. We obtain the transition conditions, and if they are satisfied the trapped orbit will become a passing orbit. The transition from trapped orbit to passing orbit implies that the effect of trapped electrons on current drive will be reduced and the current drive efficiency will be improved.
Comparison between the Isotope Tracking Method and Resistivity Tomography of Earth Rock-Fill Dam Seepage Detection  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper compares the different inversion results of three different earth rock-fill dam models with the actual leakage passages by performing isotope tracing tests and resistivity tomographic tests. The accuracy of the experimental results is evaluated, and the characteristics of these two methods are analyzed. As a result, some significant references are offered for earth rock-fill dam’s hidden defects detection. The experimental results show that the leakage and the direction of the seepage can be judged by isotope tracing tests, meanwhile, the degree of the leakage can be confirmed through the determination of the horizontal seepage velocity and the vertical seepage velocity, but it is difficult to properly determine the position of leakage passages and the range of leakage. Relatively speaking, the positions of the leakage passages can be accurately and directly displayed through resistivity tomographic tests. The experiment results show that the resistivity tomographic method is much better than isotope tracing method with regard to earth rock-fill dam’s hidden defects detection, and the resistivity tomographic method expresses much more convenience and much higher precision than isotope tracing method.

Ubiquitin-proteasome pathway (UPP) is a significant way of protein degradation and modification in eukaryotic cell and involved in a complex series of intracellular processes. As a key component in UPP, ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme (E2) plays an extremely important role in ubiquitin (Ub) transferring and substrate specific recognition. Abundant evidences have proved that UPP is involved in cells immune reaction caused by pathogens and the attendance of E2 has a significant effect on host cells and pathogen. This article presents an overview of the current research on E2s that is involved in immune response caused by viruses and bacteria.

Abstract: Due to the restriction of light illumination condition, the effective utilization of PV grid-connected systems is very low. In view of this question, this paper presents a unified control strategy based on PV grid-connected and active power filter. The distributed small-capacity grid-connected inverter is chose to be the research object. It is preferential to eliminate the deviation between power qualities of the national standards according to the control of decision tables, and adjust the proportion of the compensation currents dynamically. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this unified control strategy.
Exploring the Impact of Switching Costs on Customer Retention in the Technology Standard Competition Market  [PDF]

As the competition in the market is increasingly fierce, increasing consumers’ switching cost has already become an important strategy for enterprises. However, existing research lacks discussion about switching costs in the standard competition market. This research develops a model of switching costs’ impact on customer retention in the standard competition market. The findings suggest that in the standard competition market, different factors that affect customer switching costs have different effects on switching costs. Technology standard complexity, technology upgradability, and customer investment have significant positive influences on switching costs, but the customer experience presents the negative correlation with switching costs. Furthermore, switching cost is positively related with customer retention, especially the lost benefit cost which has the largest impact on customer retention. This study improves the researches of switching costs antecedent influencing factors, and it is of much importance for enterprises in the standards competition to manage switching costs better and implement customer retention.

Abstract: Experimental study was conducted with regard to upgrading low-quality coal by low temperature pyrolysis technology and fluidization classification technology, which laid the theoretical foundation for research and development of low-quality coal upgrading process. Firstly, a pyrolysis pilot experiment of long-flame coal was performed and the optimum pyrolysis conditions were found. When the final pyrolysis temperature was 450?C and the residence time was 10 minutes, the content of semicoke volatile dry ash-free was about 22.89% and the content of semicoke ash was about 16.1%. More than 5% of the ash needs to be removed before entering the pyrolysis fluidized bed. Thus, classification tests were carried out to pick out the coal particles with the target size of 500 μm, using a gas-solid fluidized bed coal picker. It was found that the separating effect of coal particles was the most satisfactory when the inlet velocity at the bottom was 3.27 m/s. The percentage of particles with diameters less than 500 μm was as low as 28.7% in the coarse samples. Based on the test results, a novel process of low-quality coal upgrade and coupling was proposed, which realized the sorting, grading, drying and pyrolysis of low-quality coal through the multi-stage fluidized bed integrated process.

Abstract: In order to monitor and forecast the deformation of the brick-concrete building, by taking a brick-concrete building as research object, fiber grating sensors were used to collect the monitoring data and double logarithmic curve of limit value characteristic and monitoring data were obtained based on the fractal theory. Constant dimension fractal method cannot be used to analyze the data directly. With the method of variable dimension fractal, we accumulate data, and the double logarithmic curve is smooth. Piecewise fractal dimensions are close. The outer interpolation method is used to calculate the fractal dimension of the next point and then back calculate the vertical displacement. The relative errors are calculated by comparing the forecast values and monitoring values, and the maximum relative error is 5.76%. The result shows that the fractal theory is suitable to use in the forecast of the deformation and the accuracy is good.
