The Effect of Job Autonomy on Psychological Well-Being: The Mediating Role of Personal Initiative  [PDF]

Abstract: Employees’ psychological well-being is an important factor affecting organizational performance. Thus, through empirical study, the present article investigates the influence of employees’ job autonomy on their psychological well-being. Specifically, personal initiative will mediate this relationship. To examine a series of hypotheses we developed, online survey was used to collect data. Finally, 380 respondents were accepted. Empirical data showed that employees’ job autonomy is positively related to psychological well-being. Namely, the psychological well-being of employees will gain dramatic improvement when they possess high job autonomy. In addition, through the way of path analysis, we revealed that personal initiative plays a role of intermediary mechanism in the relationship between job autonomy and psychological well-being. In last part, we discussed the contribution, limitations, and the directions of future research.

Abstract: To study the human nature is the most important project for human knowing themselves. Human being has thought and probed into the problem of human nature since the naissance. Unfortunately, although modern human has already achieved great processes and marvelous successes in natural science, the recognition to human nature is superficial. All descriptions about human nature past and now focus on the surface of the problem instead of the essence. This paper points out the puzzle of human nature. By analyzing and illustrating the characteristics of human nature, this paper chiefly discusses the social effect of human nature in perspective of politics and laws. Finally, this paper examines the real world with defects, where the common human nature is ignorant.
Scientific Analysis of the Commonness in Human Civilization

Abstract: Contrary with the opinion and idea that the civilization difference induces the civilization conflicts, the commonness of civilization is more important in fact. In the various past researches about the civilization comparison, most scholars emphasized to review and look the differences among different civilizations, and deduced that the differences induced the conflicts. However, the differences among various civilizations are only one aspect of the fact, and on the other hand, the commonness exists among different civilizations. From many aspects such as common system, common earth, common goals, common opportunities, common threats, common benefits and common deficiencies, we scientifically analyzed the commonness among the human civilizations.
Commentating the Contradictions in the Implementation of Canada’s Immigration Policy

Abstract: Immigrating is the primary means of population growth in Canada and the main source of enlarging the labor force, and the important safeguard for maintaining the national strategy and the people's livelihood. Every Canadian government in history has taken making and implementing appropriate immigration policies as one of the basic tasks. The policies have been adjusted with the historical conditions and international circumstances. However, it is necessary to give a timely analysis of the implementation of the policies and make an adjustment. This text, from the academic perspective, tries to analyze the contradictions in grading standard and the employment criteria of immigrants, in manpower input and waste, in social equity and recessive discrimination, and in short-term benefit and long-term danger during the implementation of its immigration policy. And I recommend it be adjusted and improved.

Abstract: At the time of globalization, people begin to scan and consider global problems, seek the global strategies to solve these problems and adopt corresponding global actions. People are taking the global system as the understanding object and the rebuilding object. When the global system occurs in human views, the proper understanding tool is needed to help us observe and consider it. The system theory is thus an understanding tool. The idea and method of the system theory can be utilized to research and explain the phenomenon of globalization, and as a result, to discover and find the essential and rule of globalization. This article will analyze the structure of global system, the attributes of global system, the governance of global system, the state of global system and the evolution of global system.

Abstract: One of prominent traits for the time of globalization is information inflation and knowledge explosion.
