Abstract: Soft X-ray emission and its fluctuation in CT-6B tokamak are detected by using a Au(Si) surface barrier detectors array. The empirical scaling law for soft X-ray sawtooth oscillation in the center of plasma during internal disruption period is given in this paper. The electron thermal transport phenomena, such as electron heating rate, electron energy balance, electron energy confinement time, current density distribution, and electron temperature in the center of plasma during internal disruption are studied from soft X-ray sawtooth oscillation observations.

Abstract: The poloidal rotation velocity of neutral hydrogen atoms is measured using the Doppler shift of the Hα spectral line emitted in the CT-6B tokamak. The poloidal rotation of hydrogen atoms is generated through the collisions and charge-exchanges with main ions (protons). Therefore, the rotation direction of main ions can be deduced from that of neutral hydrogen atoms. The experimental results show that the main ions rotate in the electron diamagnetic drift direction, the same as the impurity ions, in the plasma core. The neutral hydrogen atoms rotate also in the electron diamagnetic drift direction in the edge region of the plasma. However, the rotation direction of main ions in the edge region cannot be judged from the experimental result due to the long mean free path of hydrogen atoms in the edge region. An inward diffusion flux of hydrogen atoms toward the torus inside with a velocity of the same order of magnitude as their poloidal rotation is also observed.

Abstract: A Rogowski coil has been designed to measure the discharging current of the plasma dynamic accelerator which has been developed recently. The principle of Rogowski coil for measuring pulse currents, the electric and geometric parameters of the coil and the ways to shield the coil from the electromagnetic interference have been analyzed. The measuring results have been presented and verified according to the theory of the circuit, and the elementary analysis of the source of the error has been done.

Abstract: Fast and precise location method plays an important role in the data association and the target tracking for the passive sensor system. In order to solve the typical problem of the target location encountered in the netted passive sensor system, the vertical location method is proposed. Simulation results show that the vertical location method is an effective target location method, and its positioning error variance can achieve the Camer-Rao lower bound.

Abstract: This paper investigates the market reaction to stock splits based on China’s A share companies between 2007 to 2010. I find significant positive abnormal returns around the announcement date (especially before the announcement date) as well as four to six days before the execution date of China stock splits. I also observe significant negative abnormal returns just around the execution date. The above phenomenon is relatively stable even if the selection of samples and empirical models may vary, but the degree of this phenomenon might change overtime. The cross sectional regression of the abnormal returns for the announcement date shows that the phenomenon is sensitive to the split ratio and the market, and it is not sensitive to industry, company size and cash dividends. Therefore, combining with the empirical data i have constructed a high Sharpe ratio short selling investment strategy around the execution date. Then, the article further discusses the operability of the investment strategy and its stability over time.

Abstract:

This paper contributes to the literatures about Chinese commercial banks technical efficiency. In order to eliminate the deviation of efficiency scores caused by an undesirable output that is represented by banks’ non-performing loans, the estimation is based on an enhanced parametric hyperbolic distance function which considers not only desirable outputs but also undesirable outputs. Furthermore, we extend the model to divide the factors that affecting technical efficiency into direct factors and indirect factors and exclude the influence of the latter when analyzing the determiners of banks technical efficiency. The validity of this model is examined by a panel of bank data from 2004-2010.

Abstract: To solve the problem of data association in maneuvering target tracking,a new method of data association is proposed.Being different from the Probabilistic Data Association Filter (PDAF),the proposed method assumes that the current turn rate of a maneuvering target changes within a limited range in data association.Therefore,the forecasting center is not a point but a short line.The distance between a measurement and the short line is utilized to compute the weight factor of the measurement.Simulation results show that the proposed method reduces the percentage of lost tracks and improves the state estimating accuracy in tracking a maneuvering target under the circumstance of clutter.

Abstract: In this paper the SOFC-GT-Kalina (solid oxide fuel cell, gas turbine, and Kalina cycle) integrated system is proposed. The system uses Kalina cycle as the bottoming cycle to recovery the waste heat from the gas turbine to generate power. Kalina cycle uses ammonia-water mixture as the work fluid which has sliding-temperature boiling characteristics. By comparing with the SOFC-GT-ST (solid oxide fuel cell, gas turbine, and steam turbine cycle) system as the reference system, the systems are simulated by Aspen Plus through analyzing the overall system performance. Electrical and exergy efficiency of the proposed system are 74.41% and 71.93%, and electrical and exergy efficiency of the reference system are 71.45% and 69.07%, proving the superiority of Kalina cycle for waste heat recovery. In addition, the exergy losses of each component are studied, and the detail performance analysis of the proposed system is presented, consisting of thermal analysis, exergy analysis and EUD (Energy-utilization diagram) analysis, which intuitively disclosed the causes of exergy loss. Additionally, it was revealed that there exists an optimal current density at 350 mA/cm2 for power and power density.
