Retrospect and Prospect of the Research into Chinese Hezhe Nationality  [PDF]

Abstract: Through the scientometric analysis of these sample documents is related to the ten-year academic researches on Chinese Hezhe nationality, it could find out that the continuous study in this field provides a solid intelligence support for the development of Chinese ethnic minorities. However, problems still exist for the present, that is, the research content need to be deepened while the research perspective is expanded. And what’s more, the lack of the comparative analysis and the empirical research also should be given more attention in the future study. This essay would like to focus on the existing disadvantages by strengthening the problem consciousness which can help improve the researchers’ concern over the Hezhe nationality, reinforce the comparative analysis and empirical research, enhance the comprehensive analysis of multi-disciplinary and multi-perspective and constantly promote the further development of the research in this field.
FPGA Design and Implementation of a Convolutional Encoder and a Viterbi Decoder Based on 802.11a for OFDM  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, a modified FPGA scheme for the convolutional encoder and Viterbi decoder based on the IEEE 802.11a standards of WLAN is presented in OFDM baseband processing systems. The proposed design supports a generic, robust and configurable Viterbi decoder with constraint length of 7, code rate of 1/2 and decoding depth of 36 symbols. The Viterbi decoder uses full-parallel structure to improve computational speed for the add-compare-select (ACS) modules, adopts optimal data storage mechanism to avoid overflow and employs three distributed RAM blocks to complete cyclic trace-back. It includes the core parts, for example, the state path measure computation, the preservation and transfer of the survivor path and trace-back decoding, etc. Compared to the general Viterbi decoder, this design can effectively decrease the 10% of chip logic elements, reduce 5% of power consumption, and increase the encoder and decoder working performance in the hardware implementation. Lastly, relevant simulation results using Verilog HDL language are verified based on a Xinlinx Virtex-II FPGA by ISE 7.1i. It is shown that the Viterbi decoder is capable of decoding (2, 1, 7) convolutional codes accurately with a throughput of 80 Mbps.

The purpose of this qualitative study is to investigate e-business adoption into real estate agencies in China. This research focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of IT/IS (Information Technology/Information Systems) integration through face to face interviews with property agency managers in Suzhou. Particularly, it looks into the real estate sector in China today and provides implications to improve service quality and stay competitive within local real estate agencies in Suzhou, China. The objective of this study is to show that e-business if properly deployed can improve the service quality and increase general performance of real estate agencies in China; also, to propose a few implications to bring to light the problems faced by real estate agents currently in China today.

Abstract: The humanization design, friendly user experience shall be very important for mobile phone interface. The mobile interface design shall be such an important direction for the research of human-computer interaction techniques. The main purpose of this paper is to discuss the design principles, methods and design process for APP registration and login function. In this paper, it has expounded how to judge the APP needs registration and login functions, and then gave the brief elaboration on several commonly-used registration and login methods. Finally, it discusses how to design APP registration and login functions accordingly.
Total glucosides of peony as adjuvant therapy for prevention of cardiac allograft rejection in rats

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the role of total glucosides of peony (TGP) as adjuvant therapy for prevention of cardiac allograft rejection in rats.Methods: Rats with cardiac allograft were randomly divided into control group, tacrolimus-treated group, TGP-treated group and tacrolimus plus TGP-treated group. Graft survival time was observed. Allografts in some cases were examined by histological study seven days after transplantation. At the same time, the levels of CD4+ and CD8+ T cell subsets in peripheral blood were examined by using flow cytometry; the hepatic function and renal function of recipients were also tested.Results: The graft survival time of the tacrolimus-treated group and tacrolimus plus TGP-treated group was (11.14±1.57) d and (13.57±1.99) d, respectively. The graft survival time of the tacrolimus plus TGP-treated group was longer than that of the tacrolimus-treated group (P<0.05). The histological study showed that the rejection of the tacrolimus plus TGP-treated group was slighter than that of the tacrolimus-treated group. The levels of CD4+ T cell subset in the peripheral blood of the tacrolimus-treated and tacrolimus plus TGP-treated groups were (38.71±5.15)% and (32.43±4.39)% respectively 7 days after transplantation. The level of CD4+ T cell subset in the tacrolimus plus TGP-treated group was lower than that in the tacrolimus-treated group (P<0.05). The level of CD8+ T cell subset and the hepatic and renal function had no significant differences between the tacrolimus-treated group and the tacrolimus plus TGP-treated group.Conclusion: Effects of tacrolimus plus TGP in prevention of rejection are better than tacrolimus monotherapy in rats with cardiac allograft and without increasing side effects.
A Theoretical Analysis of Thermoelastic Damping Model in Laminated Trilayered Circular Plate Resonators  [PDF]

Thermoelastic damping of the axisymmetric vibration of laminated circular plate resonators is discussed in this paper. Based on the classical laminated plate theory assumptions, the governing equations of coupled thermoelastic problems are established for axisymmetric out-of-plane vibration of trilayered circular plate. The analytical expression for thermoelastic damping is obtained and the accuracy is verified through comparison with finite element analysis results. Then some simplifications are made on the theoretical model.

Chorioangioma is a tumor of vascular placental origin, the most frequent among primary placental non-trophoblastic tumors; however, it is found in about 1% of placental pathology case studies. Most of the chorioangiomas found are small, asymptomatic lesions that are only found postnatally after careful slicing of the placenta[1]. Larger tumors, particularly those measuring more than 4 cm, are rarely seen in obstetric practice but are clinically significant. In this case report, we will show you the premature with large chorioangioma and we will tell the treatment we take to cure the baby successfully.

Analysis on Correlation between Resistin—420C/G Polymorphism and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Macroangiopathy in Han Population of Northeast China  [PDF]

Objective: To study the allelic and genotypic frequency distribution of RETN—420C/G single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and its relationship with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) complicated with macroangiopathy in Han population of northeast China. Methods: The genotypes and their frequencies of a total of 180 cases, including 60 cases of T2DM complicated with macroangiopathy, 60 cases of simple T2DM and 60 cases of normal control (ND), were measured by PCR—RFLP. Results: The allelic frequencies and simple CC/GC + GG genotype in T2DM complicated with macroangiopathy group were significant different compared with ND group (P < 0.01). The allelic frequencies and CC/GC + GG genotype in T2DM complicated with macroangiopathy group were significant different compared with T2DM group (P < 0.05). The GC + GG genotype in T2DM complicated with macroangiopathy group was significantly higher than that in T2DM group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The RETN—420C/G polymorphism has a correlation with the occurrence of T2DM complicated with macroangiopathy in Han population of northeast China.
Cannabinoids: A New Group of Agonists of PPARs

Abstract: Cannabinoids have been used medicinally and recreationally for thousands of years and their effects were proposed to occur mainly via activation of the G-protein-coupled receptor CB1/CB2 (cannabinoid receptor 1/2). Discovery of potent synthetic analogs of the natural cannabinoids as clinically useful drugs is the sustained aim of cannabinoid research. This demands that these new compounds be free of the psychotropic effects that connected with the recreational use of cannabinoids. In preclinical studies cannabinoids displayed many of the characteristics of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and it seems to be free of unwanted side effects. An increasing number of therapeutic actions of cannabinoid are being reported that do not appear to be mediated by either CB1 or CB2, and recently nuclear receptor superfamily PPARs (peroxisome-proliferator-activated receptors) have been suggested as the target of certain cannabinoids. This review summarizes the evidence for cannabinoid activation on PPARs and possible associated remedial potentials.
Testing gene set enrichment for subset of genes: Sub-GSE

Abstract: In this paper, we develop a novel method, termed Sub-GSE, which measures the enrichment of a predefined gene set, or pathway, by testing its subsets. The application of Sub-GSE to two simulated and two real datasets shows Sub-GSE to be more sensitive than previous methods, such as GSEA, GSA, and SigPath, in detecting gene sets assiated with a phenotype of interest. This is particularly true for cases in which only a fraction of the genes in the gene set are associated with the phenotypes. Furthermore, the application of Sub-GSE to two real data sets demonstrates that it can detect more biologically meaningful gene sets than GSEA.We developed a new method to measure the gene set enrichment. Applications to two simulated datasets and two real datasets show that this method is sensitive to the associations between gene sets and phenotype. There are a variety of ways by which genes, and, ultimately, gene sets may be defined. For example, gene sets can be defined according to the information provided by several databases, such as GeneOntology [1], KEGG [2], Biocarta http://www.biocarta.com webcite, and Pfam [3].
