Full spectrum band integrator with multi-parameter and stable integrator design

Abstract: A class of integrators with multi-parameter is introduced. The class of integrators is based on the linear combination of the numerical integrators. The parameter roles selected to get the optimal integrators are presented. Based on the roles, a new integrator is introduced, and this one can accurately approximate the ideal integrator over the entire Nyquist frequency range. In comparison with existing digital integrators, the new integrator has minimum absolute magnitude error. Then a novel stable transform of the IIR digital integrator is obtained by stabilizing the transform of the new integrator.

Abstract: The anatomical basis for the concept of meridians in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has not been resolved. This paper reviews the evidence supporting a relationship between acupuncture points/meridians and fascia. The reviewed evidence supports the view that the human body's fascia network may be the physical substrate represented by the meridians of TCM. Specifically, this hypothesis is supported by anatomical observations of body scan data demonstrating that the fascia network resembles the theoretical meridian system in salient ways, as well as physiological, histological, and clinical observations. This view represents a theoretical basis and means for applying modern biomedical research to examining TCM principles and therapies, and it favors a holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract: 提出了用木薯干为原料,同步糖化发酵(SSF)开发燃料乙醇的新工艺.对各个影响条件进行了研究,获得了最佳的工艺条件:原料粉碎粒度0.45mm,加水比2.8,100℃下蒸煮30min,α-淀粉酶、糖化酶的添加量分别为10,180U/g,30℃下发酵48h.并与普通的先糖化后发酵(SHF)生产模式进行了对比,认为SSF。具有工艺简单、能耗低、发酵迅速、醪液酒精度高等众多优点,值得工业推广.
Cold cesium molecules produced directly in a magneto-optical trap

Abstract: We report on the observation of ultracold ground electric-state cesium molecules produced directly in a magneto- optical trap with a good signal-to-noise ratio. These molecules arise from the photoassociation of magneto-optical trap lasers and they are detected by resonantly enhanced multiphoton ionization technology. The production rate of ultracold cesium molecules is up to 4×104 s-1. We measure the characteristic time of the ground electric-state cesium molecules generated in the experiment and investigate the Cs2+ molecular ion intensity as a function of the trapping laser intensity and the ionization pulse laser energy. We conclude that the production of cold cesium molecules may be enhanced by using appropriate experimental parameters, which is useful for future experiments involving the production and trapping of ultracold ground electric-state molecules.

Abstract: Radiotherapy can cause DNA damage into cells, triggering the cell cycle arrest and cell apop-tosis through complicated interactions among vital genes and their signal pathways. In order to in-depth study the complicated cellular res- ponses under such a circumstance, a novel mo- del for P53 stress response networks is pro- posed. It can be successfully used to simulate the dynamic processes of DNA damage trans-ferring, ATM and ARF activation, regulations of P53-MDM2 feedback loop, as well as the toxins degradation. Particularly, it has become feasible to predict the outcomes of cellular response in fighting against genome stresses. Consequently, the new model has provided a reasonable framework for analyzing the complicated regu-lations of P53 stress response networks, as well as investigating the mechanisms of the cellular self-defense under radiotherapy.
A Novel Method for Fast Change-Point Detection on Simulated Time Series and Electrocardiogram Data

Abstract: Although Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS) statistic is a widely used method, some weaknesses exist in investigating abrupt Change Point (CP) problems, e.g. it is time-consuming and invalid sometimes. To detect abrupt change from time series fast, a novel method is proposed based on Haar Wavelet (HW) and KS statistic (HWKS). First, the two Binary Search Trees (BSTs), termed TcA and TcD, are constructed by multi-level HW from a diagnosed time series; the framework of HWKS method is implemented by introducing a modified KS statistic and two search rules based on the two BSTs; and then fast CP detection is implemented by two HWKS-based algorithms. Second, the performance of HWKS is evaluated by simulated time series dataset. The simulations show that HWKS is faster, more sensitive and efficient than KS, HW, and T methods. Last, HWKS is applied to analyze the electrocardiogram (ECG) time series, the experiment results show that the proposed method can find abrupt change from ECG segment with maximal data fluctuation more quickly and efficiently, and it is very helpful to inspect and diagnose the different state of health from a patient's ECG signal.

Abstract: We have designed a novel three-valued single-electron memory.This memory compris es two multiple-tunnel junctions(MTJs) and a single-electron transistor which ac ts as an electrometer.Because the Coulomb gaps of the two multiple-tunnel juncti ons are different,the device have three stable states.It is possible to fabricat e multiple-valued single-electron dynamic random access memories(DRAM)and nonvol atile random access memories(NOVORAM).The memory,which is promising for high fre quency and low power-dissipation,can achieve ultradense data storage.
