Study on the Problem of China’s Business Tax Changes to VAT
—Based on the Panel Data of Listed Companies in the Transport Industry

Abstract: The program to replace the business tax with a value-added tax has been taken for three years since 2012 and it is a great success. Moreover, the transport industry is not only a basic and ser-vice one, but also a “bridging” institute between social production and consumption, wherefore it turns itself into a focus and forerunner industry of the program. Under the condition of a comprehensive program about business, tax changes to the value-added tax in the overall industry for 2016 (shortened as “program” below). This essay attempts to probe what the program would impact upon the transport industry along with the causes in respect of tax incidence and so forth in the model of DID (Difference-in-Difference model). Based on this, further relevant suggestions and reflections upon improvements and soluble schemes of the policies are going to be proposed.
The rate coefficients of unimolecular reactions in the systems with power-law distributions

Abstract: The rate coefficient formulae of unimolecular reactions are generalized to the systems with the power-law distributions based on nonextensive statistics, and the power-law rate coefficients are derived in the high and low pressure limits, respectively. The numerical analyses are made of the rate coefficients as functions of the nu-parameter, the threshold energy, the temperature and the number of degrees of freedom. We show that the new rate coefficients depend strongly on the nu-parameter different from one (thus from a Boltzmann-Gibbs distribution). Two unimolecular reactions are taken as application examples to calculate their power-law rate coefficients, which obtained with the nu-parameters slightly different from one can be exactly in agreement with all the experimental studies on these two reactions in the given temperature ranges.
Cross-Modal Learning via Pairwise Constraints

Abstract: In multimedia applications, the text and image components in a web document form a pairwise constraint that potentially indicates the same semantic concept. This paper studies cross-modal learning via the pairwise constraint, and aims to find the common structure hidden in different modalities. We first propose a compound regularization framework to deal with the pairwise constraint, which can be used as a general platform for developing cross-modal algorithms. For unsupervised learning, we propose a cross-modal subspace clustering method to learn a common structure for different modalities. For supervised learning, to reduce the semantic gap and the outliers in pairwise constraints, we propose a cross-modal matching method based on compound ?21 regularization along with an iteratively reweighted algorithm to find the global optimum. Extensive experiments demonstrate the benefits of joint text and image modeling with semantically induced pairwise constraints, and show that the proposed cross-modal methods can further reduce the semantic gap between different modalities and improve the clustering/retrieval accuracy.

Abstract:
Vendor-managed Inventory (VMI) is a new inventory operation pattern in the supply chain environment, breaking the traditional independent inventory management pattern. It is a kind of cooperative strategies that improving continuously inventory management, which aims at obtaining the lowest cost for both users and suppliers, manages inventory by suppliers under a common agreement, and continuously supervises the implementation of the agreement and amends the content of the agreement. This paper discusses the existing literature of VMI, and reviews the research of VMI from its connotation, theoretical basis and four stages of development, points out the defects and deficiencies, and puts forward suggestions for further research direction.
Bioequivalence and Population Pharmacokinetic Modeling of Two Forms of Antibiotic, Cefuroxime Lysine and Cefuroxime Sodium, after Intravenous Infusion in Beagle Dogs

Abstract: To investigate the bioequivalence and the population pharmacokinetics of cefuroxime lysine and cefuroxime sodium in healthy beagle dogs. A randomized 2-period crossover design in 18 healthy beagle dogs after receiving 20, 40, and 80 mg/kg of cefuroxime lysine or cefuroxime sodium was conducted. A 3-compartment open model was used as the basic model for the population pharmacokinetic study. Both of the antibiotics exhibited dose-proportional pharmacokinetics over the dose range of 20–80 mg/kg. The mean relative bioavailability of cefuroxime lysine versus cefuroxime sodium was 1.05 (range, 0.71 to 1.42), with a significant difference between males and females. The estimates of population pharmacokinetic of CL, V1, Q2, V2, Q3, V3 were 3.74 mL/h, 1.70 mL, 29.5 mL/min, 3.58 mL, 0.31 mL/min, and 158 mL for cefuroxime lysine and 4.10 mL/h, 1.00 mL, 38.5 mL/min, 4.19 mL, 0.06 mL/min, and 13.6 mL for cefuroxime sodium, respectively. The inter-individual variability was determined to be less than 29.1%. A linear pharmacokinetic was revealed for cefuroxime lysine and cefuroxime sodium in dogs after intravenous infusion, and the bioequivalence of these forms of the antibiotic was observed with the significant gender-related differences in mean relative bioavailability of cefuroxime lysine versus cefuroxime sodium.
Is an Idea Different from Cake: Can You Have It and Eat It, Too? A Violation of Permanence in Information Consumption

Abstract: One of the basic features of information is permanence. This feature states that the consumption of information by one consumer does not affect the availability of that information to other consumers. We present examples in two studies indicating that both laymen and experts of information exchange may be motivated to make choices that violate the permanence feature in accepting (Study 1) and offering (Study 2) information. When they possess, but have not yet consumed information, people may suffer from the appearance of wastefulness. This apparent wastefulness may provide a potential explanation for the observed violation of the permanence feature. Our findings indicate that, as the material age evolves into the information age, information-exchange behavior has not evolved significantly away from material-exchange behavior.

Abstract: Oil supply conditions for elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL) in elliptical contacts were investigated.The effects of the effective film thickness of the supplied oil layers on the starved central and minimum film thicknesses were analyzed.Furthermore,the relations among the central and minimum film thicknesses and the formation position of the lubricating film were investigated.The results show that,when the effective film thickness of the supplied oil layer is very small,the central and minimum film thicknesses are also very small,and the formation position of the lubricating film is very close to the Hertzian contact ellipse,this is the serious starved state.If the effective film thickness of the supplied oil layer reaches a certain value,the central and minimum film thicknesses increase very little,and the extra lubricant can hardly enter the contact gap,so the oil supply condition will reach a quasi-fully flooded state.Nevertheless,if the thickness of the supplied oil layer continues to increase,the starved region will disappear completely,the oil supply condition therefore will be the actual fully flooded or the over flooded state.
