Abstract: We derive the viscous current in the fully ionized two-fluid plasma to generate the solar magnetic field. The global magnetic field of the Sun can be simulated by the viscous current from the differential rotation inside the Sun. The field presents a structure with 6-polar. As the viscous current is very weak, the magnetic field intensity is only about G, which could be considered as the background field of the Sun. The theory is a start for the generation of solar magnetic field. The local strong magnetic field of the Sun is not considered in the paper.
A Novel Treatment Optimization System and Top Gene Identification via Machine Learning with Application on Breast Cancer  [PDF]

Abstract: Traditional treatment selection of cancers mainly relies on clinical observations and doctor’s judgment, but most outcomes can hardly be predicted. Through Genomics Topology, we use 272 breast cancer patients’ clinical and gene information as an example to propose a treatment optimization and top gene identification system. This study faces certain challenges such as collinearity and the Curse of Dimensionality within data, so by the idea of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is implemented to resolve this issue. Several genes, for example, SLC40A1 and ACADSB, are found to be both statistically significant and biological-studies supported; the model developed can precisely predict breast cancer mortality, recurrence time, and survival time, with an average MSE of 3.697, accuracy rate of 88.97%, and F1 score of 0.911. The result and methodology used in this study provide a channel for people to further look into the more precise prediction of other cancer outcomes through machine learning and assist in the discovery of targetable pathways for next-generation cancer treatment methods.

Abstract: Chinese beginners often find themselves in struggling for learning complicated Chinese characters (also known as Hanzi), after the acquisition of Chinese pronunciation (Chinese Phonetic Alphabets, also called Pinyin). Actual experience of living and studying in China exposes a fact that people on daily basis are not using Pinyin to assist pronunciation. All means of social media only have Hanzi for people to recognize. The connection between Pinyin and Hanzi is a difficult part to accomplish for Chinese language beginners. Based on several years of teaching experience of Chinese language to speakers of other languages and working memory drill in English-Chinese interpretation, the author explores a practical way to build this connection between Pinyin and Hanzi by taking-notes using computers and mobile phones in class. In alliance with fun language teaching methodologies, i.e., the Audiolingual method, Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) to reassure the memory rehearsal drill in association with imaginary situations. The research experiment results show that this method can stimulate beginners’ learning enthusiasm and arouse their confidence and initiative in the long-run Chinese language learning process and it can facilitate Chinese beginners to better communicate in the fast-changing social media.

Abstract: Standards and specifications are the premise of integrated reorganization of science specimen data, and data integration is the core of the reorganization. ETL [1] which is the abbreviation of extract, transform, and load [2], is very suitable for data integration. Kettle is a kind of ETL software. In this paper, it has been introduced into the integrated reorganization of science specimen data. Multi-source and heterogeneous specimen data are integrated using kettle, and good results have been achieved. It proved the effectiveness of kettle in the integrated reorganization of science specimen data. The application has practical significance, and the method can be referenced when reorganizing other resource data.

Abstract: This paper sets out to analyze how China makes best of its late development advantage (LDA) to change global image of “Made in China” to “Chinese Smart Manufacturing” by demonstrating recent technologies and advances in China. In literature review, the author compares Recommendations for Implementing the Strategic Initiative Industrie 4.0 [1] (hereinafter referred as Industry 4.0) with Made in China 2025 [2] in priority development domains and paths of actualization. To examine how the term “Made in China” has changed in both its connotation and value worldwide, the author analyzes China’s Late Development Advantage (LDA) by seeking evidences in contemporary economic and technological advances in Section three. Chinese government makes the best of LDA to develop its economy and implement policies such as Supply-side Reform and Belt and Road Initiative, which eventually changes the connotation and image of “Made in China”. China is guiding the world to value more for “Made in China” products, services and technologies.
Influence of Haze-Fog on Consumers’ Desire for Money  [PDF]

Abstract: With the increase of haze-fog, it seriously affects the people’s quality of life. Most studies link haze-fog to diseases, environmental issues or governance and policy. However, the relationship between haze-fog and psychology and behavior remains relatively underexplored in the psychology literature. Drawing from regulatory focus theory, this paper explores how haze-fog influences individuals’ psychological states and behavior. Specifically, we design an experiment to examine how haze-fog influences consumers’ desire for money. Results indicate that haze-fog is negatively related to consumers’ desire for money (Msunny day = 3.79, Mmoderate pollution = 3.99, Msevere pollution = 5.49, F(2,105) = 10.67, p < 0.01), and the perception of defensive psychology mediates the relationship between haze-fog and consumers’ desire for money (95% CI [0.0102, 0.7597]). This paper shows that haze-fog does not only influence our life, but also our purchasing intentions. It reveals that when haze-fog is severe, it evokes consumers’ defensive psychology, and then it decreases consumers’ desire for money. Future research can focus on the other haze-fog related consumer psychology and explore haze-fog related marketing.
Mental Workload Assessment in a Taiwanese Hotel Chain

Abstract: Workload assessment is one of the most serious concerns for a manager, since a long-term heavy workload may affect employees’ physical and mental health, performance and productivity, as well as turnover. Because reception clerks are the first contract points for customers in a hotel, their service quality generates the first impression of the company. To be aware of the workloads of hotel reception clerks, this study applies a workload assessment model to find out the relative workload levels of them, in which subjective subscales are introduced. Based on the data analysis, six reception clerks are classified as have relatively heavy workloads among the twenty-six samples. In addition, this study identifies the factors that the decision maker can focus on in order to effectively reduce the workloads of heavy workload clerks. The advantage of this study is that it provides a practical framework for managers to be more aware of the work situations of employees and thus they can more effectively improve the workload levels of staff and ensure that they provide high quality services, as well as reduce staff turnover.

Abstract: The rubber tree physiological and ecological process quantitatively described by using mathematical method is an important means to the analysis of rubber tree growth process and mechanism. The study on growth simulation model of rubber tree will lay the foundation for the application of rubber tree cultivation intelligent decision system. A Richards equation was formulated to describe the height and stem diameter growth dynamics of the annual rubber seedlings. An area correlation analysis was done according to the closeness of the observed parameters to the dynamic curve on the gray system composed of the seedling growth increment and the meteorological factors including aerial temperature, precipitation and solar radiation hours that influence upon the seedling growth. The results showed that rubber seedling response fitted the Richards equation quite well. The growth increment displayed a distinct alternation of \"slow—fast—slow— fast—slow\" rhythm. The growth course of the seedlings might be partitioned into three periods of time by the sequential clustering analysis, namely pre-growing, fast-growing, late-growing stage. The tray correlation analysis revealed that air temperature had the most significant influence while precipitation had the least impact on height growth of the rubber seedlings. In conclusion, the air temperature had the most significant influence while solar radiation hours had the least impact on stem diameter growth of the rubber seedlings.
Signal Classification Method Based on Support Vector Machine and High-Order Cumulants  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, a classification method based on Support Vector Machine (SVM) is given in the digital modulation signal classification. The second, fourth and sixth order cumulants of the received signals are used as classification vectors firstly, then the kernel thought is used to map the feature vector to the high dimensional feature space and the optimum separating hyperplane is constructed in space to realize signal recognition. In order to build an effective and robust SVM classifier, the radial basis kernel function is selected, one against one or one against rest of multi-class classifier is designed, and method of parameter selection using cross- validation grid is adopted. Through the experiments it can be concluded that the classifier based on SVM has high performance and is more robust.
