Molecular Detection of Phytophthora sojae

Abstract: An oligonucleotide primer pair was designed and synthesized after comparison and homological analysis of rDNA ITS sequences among Phytophthora sojae,its related Phytophthora species,and allied fungal and bacterial species from GenBank.PCR amplifications were carried out for 140 isolates including Phytophthora sojae.It showed that only isolates of Phytophthora sojae can be amplified and a special fragment of 288bp were produced by the primers.These primers were used to detect Phytophthora sojae in pure culture,inoculated diseased soybean plants,and inoculated soil samples.The detection protocol has good sensitivity to diseased tissues.

Abstract: Some traditional hazard measurement mothods including the analytical method of profit and loss,the analytical method of sensibility, the analytical method of probability were summarized. The evaluation indexes of eco-agriculture project investment and its calculating method of sensibility grade were put forward. Fuzzy evaluation methods of eco-agriculture project hazard measurement were investigated to provide quantitative foundation for judgement of eco-agriculture project system hazard.

Abstract: 2008年8月对尤溪街面水库的浮游甲壳动物进行了调查,共采集到浮游甲壳动物8科13属16种,其中枝角类5科7属8种,桡足类3科6属8种。枝角类优势种为突额湖仙达蟤和长肢秀体蟤,桡足类优势种为广布中剑水蚤。浮游甲壳动物平均密度为43.58ind/L,平均生物量为477.43μg/L。浮游甲壳动物种数由蓄水前的8种增加到16种,广布中剑水蚤和透明温剑水蚤在蓄水后仍然存在。
Advances in Research on Chilling-resistance Mechanisms of Plants

Abstract: This paper gives a general statement about the present development of chilling-resistant mechanisms of plants at home and abroad, and it deals mainly with the relations between the chilling-resistance of plants and cell membrane system,enzyme system diverisity and chilling-resistant gene expression and control. In addition, the paper points out some problems worth delibrating deeply in the research field of plant chilling-resistance.

Abstract: This study analyzed five varieties of P. tomentosa and their putative parents, P. alba, P. davidiana, P. adenopoda and P. tremula by RAPD and artificial cross. Of 78 bands revealed by 13 arbitrary primers selected, 58(74.36%) bands were polymorphic among P. tomentosa and four putative parents. The RAPD statistical results showed the relationship between P. tomentosa and P. alba or P. adenopoda was closer than that between P. tomentosa and'P. davidiana or P. tremula . There were higher similarity and lower genetic distance between P. tomentosa and P. alba or P. adenopoda than that between P. tomentosa and the other two putative parents. The results from UPGMA, Fitch-margoliash phylogenetic dendrogram were similar. In addition, artificial hybrids including reciprocal cross between P. alba and P. adenopoda were used to compare with five varieties of P. tomentosa . And those hybrids between P. alba as female and P. adenopoda as male were closer to P. tomentosa than those from reciprocal cross. The results demonstrated that P. tomentosa was a natural hybrid between P. alba as female parent and P. adenopoda as male parent.

Abstract: Considerable knowledge about the biology of forest tree has been gained in the recent years by the application of the new genomic technologies to study tree growth and development as well as the response of trees to biotic and abiotic stresses. Proteomics is becoming an important content in the biology of forest tree. A review is given about the progress in forest tree proteomics research in the areas of population genetics, genetic mapping, stress physiology, organs and tissues, and wood formation, etc. Furthermore, forest tree proteome database is briefly introduced. Finally, the prospect of proteomics is discussed.
Improved Ant Colony Algorithm with Planning of Dynamic Path

Abstract: In view of the shortcomings of slow rate of convergence and easy to fall into local optimal solution for the tra- ditional ant algorithm, this paper put forward to improve distance heuristic factor to encrease effects on the next node, so as to enhance the global search ability, avoid trap in local optimal solution and improve the rate of convergence. Con- sidering the complexity and diversity of the real environment, this paper introduced multiple path quality constraints to improve the rules of the pheromone update. I}he simulation results show the improved ant colony algorithm has a good effect in the dynamic path planning.
The Application of Denitrifying Bacteria in Denitrification of Wastewater

Abstract: Denitrification plays an important role in wastewater treatment systems for the reason that the nitrate or nitrite was reduced, and some gases such as NO, N_2O or N_2 were released. The application of denitrification in wastewater, the mechanism of denitrification, and the effect factors of denitrification were introduced in this paper. The communities of Denitrifying bacteria, and some key enzymes of denitrification were also introduced. The discovery of aerobic denitrifying bacteria, autotrophic denitrifying bacteria, and denitrifying Phosphorus-removing Bacteria were also mentioned in this paper.
