Abstract: Theory of Transposition Didactic which was established at 1982 was enlarged with the Anthropological Theory in the 1990’s which was introduced by Y. Chevallard. The anthropological theory is frequently used in didactical researches. The knowledge in the didactical system is object in this theory, its relations to institutions and personnel are quite important. For this purpose, this study presents definitions and concepts specific to the Anthropological Theory in Turkish Education members and shows the positive results of anthropological theory can be used from the studies applying that theory in science areas. In the study, the first section aims to present characteristics what the Anthropological Theory is with documentation analyze; and, the second section also aims to present one research in science education (realized by YILDIRIM in 2008) in order to illustrate the use and the effectiveness of the theory.
Türkiye’de Enerji Sekt rünün leri ve Geri Ba lant Etkileri(The Forward and Backward Connection Effects of the Energy Sector in Turkey)
Abdullah ?ZDEM?R,Fatma YüKSEL
Y?netim ve Ekonomi , 2006,
Abstract: Energy sector has a great importance for producers and consumers. Energy sector has been found as a leading sector as a result at the input-output analysis. This analysis has been done by using input-output tables which are constructed by goverment Statistical Institude. Turkey is dependent to other countries as energy. To satisfy the development in Turkish economy is only available by reducing the depandencies to the other countries by the energy. Also it should be continued as the leading sector.

Stability Analysis of a Nonlinear Difference Equation  [PDF]
Fatma Bozkurt
International Journal of Modern Nonlinear Theory and Application (IJMNTA) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/ijmnta.2013.21001
Abstract:

The local and global behavior of the positive solutions of the difference equation

was investigated, where the parametersα,βandγand the initial conditions are arbitrary positive numbers. Furthermore, the characterization of the stability was studied with a basin that depends on the conditions of the coefficients. The analysis about the semi-cycle of positive solutions has end the study of this work.

Experimental and Theoretical Studies on the Functionalization Reactions of 4-Benzoyl-1,5-Diphenyl-1H-Pyrazole-3-Carboxylic Acid and Acid Chloride with 2,3-Diaminopyridine
Ismail Y?ld?r?m,Fatma Kandemirli,Elif Demir
Molecules , 2005, DOI: 10.3390/10030559
Abstract: The 1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid 2 was converted in good yield (69%) into the corresponding 1H-pyrazole-3-carboxamide 5 via reaction of the acid chloride 3 with 2,3- diaminopyridine (4). A different product, the 3H-imidazo[4,5-b] pyridine derivative 6, was formed from the reaction of 3 with 4 and base in benzene for 5 hours. The structures of the synthesized compounds were determined spectroscopically. The mechanism of the reaction between 3 and 4 was examined theoretically.

Klimik Journal , 2010,
Abstract: Objective: In this study, we aimed to present the epidemiological, clinical and microbiological features of community acquired/onset pyelonephritis cases followed in our clinic. Methods: One hundred ninety adult patients with pyelonephritis followed in our clinic between 1989-2008 were analysed retrospectively. Results: Of the patients, 75 were male (39.5%) and 115 were female (60.5%) and mean age was 55.5 years (18-93). In total, 55 of the patients had had urinary tract infections within the last year. Complicated urinary tract infection was diagnosed in 137 patients. Escherichia coli was isolated in the urine culture of 119 (62.6%) patients and extended spectrum-β-lactamase production was positive in 20% of the isolates. Blood culture was also positive in 44 (23.1%) patients. Nine patients (4.7%) died. Conclusions: The local epidemiology and antibiotic susceptibility results are very important for appropriate empiric antibiotic treatment of pyelonephritis. The upper urinary system ultrasonography should be carried out especially in female patients with pyelonephritis to diagnose complicated urinary tract infections.
Chemical Composition, Colour and Sensory Characteristics of Commercial Serunding (Shredded Meat) in Malaysia
N. Huda,Y. Fatma,A. Fazillah,F. Adzitey
Pakistan Journal of Nutrition , 2012,
Abstract: Serunding (shredded meat) is one of the traditional meat based-product popular among Malaysians. Eight commercial serunding prepared using beef, chicken and fish as raw material were collected from markets and analyzed to determine their chemical composition, colour and sensory characteristics. The results showed that moisture, fat and protein contents were within the range of 8.60-13.56, 3.20-31.14 and 19.86-30.15%, respectively. Serunding ayam or shredded chicken was the lightest in colour followed by serunding daging or shredded meat and serunding ikan or shredded fish. Sensory evaluation showed that panelists preferred shredded fish with darker colour. However there was no significant difference between the overall acceptability for shredded meat and chicken.
Epidemiologic Characteristics of Patients with Cerebral Palsy  [PDF]
Fatma Fidan, Ozlem Baysal
Open Journal of Therapy and Rehabilitation (OJTR) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ojtr.2014.23018
Abstract: Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the demographical and clinical features of patients with cerebral palsy (CP) attending to our outpatient or inpatient clinics. Materials and Methods: Children admitted to Inonu University Faculty of Medicine Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation outpatient or inpatient clinics, Malatya, Turkey with the diagnosis of CP during the study period were included in the study. Age, sex, etiological factors, clinical classifications, and epidemiological characteristics such as socio-economic status as well as the problems associated with CP were analyzed in all patients. Results: Of the total of 130 patients with mean ages 51.05 ± 36.06 months, 51 were girls and 79 were boys. The most common etiologic risk factors were bleeding and presence of threatened miscarriage in prenatal period; asphyxia, low birth weight and prematurity in perinatal period; and neonatal convulsions and hyperbilirubinemia in the postnatal period. Consanguineous marriage was present in 24.6% of families. In clinical classification it was seen that 45 subjects were spastic quadriplegic (34.6%), 41 were spastic diplegic (31.5%), 15 were dyskynetic (11.5%), 14 were spastic hemiplegic (10.8%), 10 were mixed type (7.7%) and 5 were hypotonic/ataxic (3.8%). Conclusion: Prenatal risk factors constitute the foremost risk factors in CP etiology. CP incidence can be lowered by close follow up of the newborns who has been considered as high risk newborns due to the presence of risk factors during pregnancies or deliveries, and by increasing the number of neonatal intensive care units. Besides, it is important to raise public awareness about consanguinity marriages in our country.

Abstract: Nowadays, democracy discussions including a variety of different approaches are made due to the impact of globalization. In this respect, local press comes to the fore as a significant element in the development of participatory citizenship and democracy values from the periphery to the center in a way to reflect differences. This research aims at examining the relationship amongst democracy, citizenship and local press using the local media Boulder, a city in Colorado state of the USA, as a case study. The study is composed of two parts. In the first part, we are going to discuss theoretical frameworks that will help us to better understand the concept of democracy and citizenship, the impact and importance of participatory citizenship on democracy and democratization. The second part includes the historical development of Boulder city and Colorado state. Their sociological and economic features in order to understand the local background of the geography in which the newspaper we examine in our case study are located. The significance of local media and press in Boulder for the state in general and its historical development are analyzed also including examples including the flow of information rendering the participation of citizens possible. In this respect, the importance of local press for the participation of citizens and its impact on democratization are examined.
