Combination of Law-Governing and Virtue-Governing: The Perspective of Social Governance Centering on Zichan  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper intends to closely examine the abundant historical data on the theory and practice of Zichan’s social governance, which were recorded in The Commentary of Zuo. For example: Zichan thought the minister who had good reputation, morality and integrity can make people submit through clemency. Propriety is the law of heaven, the root of earth, and the dependence of people. Zichan cast the penal code, separated the law from traditional rituals, and described severity as fire which is fierce and violent. People feared it, but few died from it. This can be summarized as Law-governing and Virtue-governing. The author used the typical characteristics of social transition in the Spring and Autumn Period, which is a special social transformation from slavery society to feudal society. During that period, the feature of social system is rite disintegration and has a transition from the God to man. It will be argued that based on the social governance which was elaborated by Zichan, and the effects recorded in The Commentary of Zuo, the author considers that the collection and research articles pertaining to this part of the literature can provide materials and ideas of relevance for research on social governance in China, especially the Chinese aristocracy in the Pre-Qin dynasty. The effective forms of governance at that time could enrich the theoretical resources for contemporary China, and may have relevance for scholarly research in political philosophy in other cultures.

Abstract: With the development of fuzzy measure theory, the integral inequalities based on Sugeno integral are extensively investigated. We concern on the inequalities of Choquuet integral. The main purpose of this paper is to prove the H?lder inequality for any arbitrary fuzzy measure-based Choquet integral whenever any two of these integrated functions f, g and h are comonotone, and there are three weights. Then we prove Minkowski inequality and Lyapunov inequality for Choquet integral. Moreover, when any two of these integrated functions f1, f2, , fn are comonotone, we also obtain the Hölder inequality, Minkowski inequality and Lyapunov inequality hold for Choquet integral.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the current situation of the Campus Express mode through the quantitative and qualitative methods to find the deficiencies in the existing model, and puts forward the improvement of the existing Campus Express mode. A new sorting method is adopted in the Campus unified distribution center for improving picking efficiency and solving the problem of “door-to-door” service. At the same time, the Platform of Campus Express—named “Crowdsourcing Express” mode is created, so that everyone can be involved in the activities of Campus Express. The plant can not only provide a better logistics service, but also combine commerce activities with Campus Express.

Abstract:

A concise and efficient method for the synthesis of novel 9,10-imethoxybenzo[6,7]oxepino[3,4-b]quinolin13(6H)-one and its derivatives 7a-p has been developed via the intramolecular Friedel-Crafts acylation reactions of 6,7-dimethoxy-2-(phenoxymethyl)quinoline-3-carboxylic acids 6a-p with polyphosphoric acid (PPA) as catalyst and solvent under mild conditions. The key intermediates 6a-p were prepared through the in situ formation of ethyl 6,7-dimethoxy-2-(phenoxymethyl)quinoline-3-carboxylates 5a-p followed by hydrolysis with aqueous ethanolic sodium hydroxide solution. The novel synthetic method has the advantages of good yields, easy work-up, and environmentally friendly character, which may provide a novel highly efficient process for making quinoline and related azaheterocycle libraries.

Abstract: Firstly, there is a brief introduction about the new and the old circulation modes of Agricultural Products of fruits and vegetables in Beijing. And there will be an empirical analysis about it by constructing DEA model. The conclusion is that efficiency of the new circulation mode is higher than the old one. And the new mode can compensate for the low efficiency of the old model circulation deficiencies and improve the efficiency of agricultural products circulation of fruits and vegetables in Beijing.
By Sector Water Consumption and Related Economy Analysis Integrated Model and Its Application in Hai River Basin, China  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper established a by sector water consumption and economy analysis integrated model with input–output analysis method. The model can be used to identify the relationships between economic activities and the direct water consumption, the total water consumption and the intersectoral water transaction for detailed sectors in regional economy. The method is applied to Hai River Basin in China that is characterized by water shortage. The results found that in Hai River Basin, agriculture sector is responsible for 81.2% of the direct total water consumption in the region, but industrial and service sectors account for 53.2% of the indirect total water consumption. To 24 industrial and service sectors, their ratios of indirect water consumption to total water consumption belong to [90%, 99%]. To per unit output, water consumption intensity was highest in agriculture sector 1 at 96.91 m3 per thousand Yuan, the value of 28 industrial and service sectors were smaller than 1. Products of sector 1, sector 24, sector 3, sector 12, sector 6, sector 11 and sector 10 are the main suppliers of indirect water.
On the cyclicity of the period annulus of quadratic Hamiltonian triangle vector field

Abstract: This paper is concerned with the cyclicity of the period annulus of quadratic Hamiltonian triangle vector field under quadratic perturbations. This problem has been studied by Iliev (J. Differential Equations {\bf 128}(1996)), based on the displacement function obtained by \.{Z}o{\l}adek (J. Differential Equations {\bf 109}(1994)). Recently, P. Marde\v{s}i\'{c} etc. (J. Dynamical and Control Systems {\bf 17}(2011)) studied unfoldings of the Hamiltonian triangle within quadratic vector fields. It turned out that the displacement function is not precise of the form given by \.{Z}o{\l}adek. Using the corrected form of the displacement function obtained by P. Marde\v{s}i\'{c} etc, it is proved in this paper that the cyclicity of the period annulus under quadratic perturbations is equal to three.
Subthreshold α2-Adrenergic Activation Counteracts Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Potentiation of Glucose-Stimulated Insulin Secretion

Abstract: The pancreatic β cell harbors α2-adrenergic and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors on its plasma membrane to sense the corresponding ligands adrenaline/noradrenaline and GLP-1 to govern glucose-stimulated insulin secretion. However, it is not known whether these two signaling systems interact to gain the adequate and timely control of insulin release in response to glucose. The present work shows that the α2-adrenergic agonist clonidine concentration-dependently depresses glucose-stimulated insulin secretion from INS-1 cells. On the contrary, GLP-1 concentration-dependently potentiates insulin secretory response to glucose. Importantly, the present work reveals that subthreshold α2-adrenergic activation with clonidine counteracts GLP-1 potentiation of glucose-induced insulin secretion. This counteractory process relies on pertussis toxin- (PTX-) sensitive Gi proteins since it no longer occurs following PTX-mediated inactivation of Gi proteins. The counteraction of GLP-1 potentiation of glucose-stimulated insulin secretion by subthreshold α2-adrenergic activation is likely to serve as a molecular mechanism for the delicate regulation of insulin release.
