Preparation of montmorillonite modified phenolic resin for shell process

Abstract: The development of montmorillonite modified phenolic resin under microwave irradiation heating was investigated. The effect of montmorillonite content and stirring time on the structure and morphology of synthetic resin was analyzed. The optimum processing procedure was found to be 45 min stirring time with 5.4% montmorillonite addition. Further, the platelet spacing increases with stirring time till montmorillonite exfoliated to nanoscales platelet. When montmorillonite is exfoliated, layered structure at nanoscale can be uniformly distributed in the resin. The overall performance of montmorillonite modifi ed phenolic resin is improved remarkably, such as fl ow ability, tensile strength and toughness property of resin coated sand. However, the gelation speed decreased slightly by adding montmorillonite.

Abstract: Based on the research articles about the strategic emerging industries in China of Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) on http://www.cnki.net/ from 2010 to 2014, we analyze the research literature from quantitative and qualitative perspective and prospect the future research directions of the strategic emerging industries in China. The research data shows that the studies on strategic emerging industries in China have developed rapidly these years, the high-level research results are increasingly abundant, but some problems should be further studied. And we believe that the researchers should focus on the empirical studies based on the development of the practices, and make efforts to construct a whole systematic research framework and pay more attention to the studies on strategic human resources.

Abstract: Socioeconomic development has intensified inter-enterprise competition and made human resource exploitation extremely important for all enterprises. As a major part of the market economy, private enterprises play an increasingly important role. Staff training, a key step of human resource development, is critical for improving individual performances and overall corporate performance & yield. However, the staff training of medium- and small-sized private enterprises is faced by many problems that restrict the training efficacy. To further diagnose the training-related problems faced by medium- and small-sized private enterprises, here the author analyzed the current situations of staff training in M and identified the problems. Together with relevant knowledge and theories, the author analyzed underlying causes and proposed appropriate suggestions, aiming to provide some references and guidance for improving the training system of M.

Abstract: This paper is concerned with stability analysis for singular systems with interval time-varying delay. By constructing a novel Lyapunov functional combined with reciprocally convex approach and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, improved delay-dependent stability criteria for the considered systems to be regular, impulse free, and stable are established. The developed results have advantages over some previous ones as they involve fewer decision variables yet less conservatism. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed stability results. 1. Introduction It is well known that time delays frequently occur in many practical systems, such as biological systems, chemical systems, electronic systems, and network control systems. The time delays are regarded as the major source of oscillation, instability, and poor performance of dynamic systems. During the last two decades, there has been some remarkable theoretical and practical progress in stability, stabilization, and robust control of linear time-delay systems [1, 2]. Currently, the results of stability for time-delay systems mainly focus on time-varying delay with range zero to an upper bound. However, in practice, the delay range may have a nonzero lower bound, and such systems are referred to interval time-varying delay systems. Typical examples for interval time-delay systems are networked control systems [3]. With rapid advancement in the networked control systems technology, a number of significant results have been reported in the recent past for the stability of interval time-delay systems [3–14]. For example, in [3], a discretized Lyapunov functional approach is employed to obtain stability criteria for linear uncertain systems with interval time-varying delays. By using free-weighting matrices, [4, 5] present some less conservative stability conditions. The free-weighting matrices method was further improved in [6, 7] by constructing augmented Lyapunov functionals. The free-weighting matrices method is regarded as an effective way to reduce the conservatism of the stability results; however, one chief shortcoming is that too many free-weighting matrices introduced in the theoretical derivation sometimes cannot reduce the conservatism of the obtained results, on the contrary, they make criteria mathematically complex and computationally less effective. In [8, 9], via different Lyapunov functionals with fewer matrix variables whose derivative is estimated using Jensen inequality, some simple stability criteria were obtained, these results were improved
Relaxation and screening in Auger emission: an explanation for the changes from bandlike to quasi-atomiclike CVV Auger spectra across the transition metal series

Abstract: Supercell method is used to study the relaxation and screening effects during the Auger transition in metals. In order to make the interaction between the core-holes sited at different atoms negligible, the real metal is simulated by supercells repeated periodically. The electronic states concerned by the Auger transition are calculated by using FLAPW method. The occurrence of both bandlike and quasi-atomiclike Auger spectra across transition metal series is related clearly to the different responses of these metals to the existence of a core-hole depending on whether their d-bands are partially or completely filled. As examples, L_3VV and M_1VV Auger spectral profiles of Cu have been calculated in a reasonably well agreement with experiment. The hole-hole interaction is considered explicitly in the calculation to give the multi-splitting in the quasi-atomiclike Auger spectra.
Nonexistence of Certain Skew-symmetric Amorphous Association Schemes

Abstract: An association scheme is amorphous if it has as many fusion schemes as possible. Symmetric amorphous schemes were classified by A. V. Ivanov [A. V. Ivanov, Amorphous cellular rings II, in Investigations in algebraic theory of combinatorial objects, pages 39--49. VNIISI, Moscow, Institute for System Studies, 1985] and commutative amorphous schemes were classified by T. Ito, A. Munemasa and M. Yamada [T. Ito, A. Munemasa and M. Yamada, Amorphous association schemes over the Galois rings of characteristic 4, European J. Combin., 12(1991), 513--526]. A scheme is called skew-symmetric if the diagonal relation is the only symmetric relation. We prove the nonexistence of skew-symmetric amorphous schemes with at least 4 classes. We also prove that non-symmetric amorphous schemes are commutative.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the impact of risk aversion and retailer’s cost lied factor on supply chain decision-making in a hybrid channel supply chain system consisting of a risk-averse manufacturer and a retailer. According to the expected utility maximization theory, this paper gets the optimal decision of the manufacturer and retailer. First, it analyzes the impact of risk aversion factor on pricing decisions of supply chain members when the information of the retailer’s cost is public. Next, this paper considers the fact that the retailer has advantages on cost information, analyzes the relations between the retailer’s optimal cost lied factor and each parameter.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the impact of corporate green technological innovation which is based on internal and external environmental factors, using hierarchical clustering approach to building a multi-index system. Evaluation index system for the various environmental factors inherent in the ambiguity, the use of rough set theory set a new business model for green technology innovation and environmental assessment. The model overcomes the traditional rough set model calculation bottleneck. Empirical studies demonstrate that the proposed index system and evaluation model have effectiveness, relevance and objectivity.
