Stability Analysis on Power System with Large Power Source  [PDF]

Abstract:

In this paper, the stability problems of power systems with large power source are analyzed with viewpoint of energy balance. The phenomena are studied when the energy delivery are “blocked” by faults that occur on some key transmission lines of a large power source within a power system, on the transmission lines between the interconnected power systems, or on some key buses. The cases are based on a practical power system and its interconnected systems.

Abstract: It is well-known that the equality $$L^{}_{G}\ominus L^{}_{H}=\bar{\mathrm{span}\{L_{g}:g\in G-H\}^{\mathrm{SOT}}}$$ holds for $G$ an i.c.c. group and $H$ a subgroup in $G$, where $L^{}_{G}$ and $L^{}_{H}$ are the corresponding group von Neumann algebras and $L^{}_{G}\ominus L^{}_{H}$ is the set $\{x\in L^{}_{G}:E^{}_{L^{}_{H}}(x)=0\}$ with $E^{}_{L^{}_{H}}$ the conditional expectation defined from $L^{}_{G}$ onto $L^{}_{H}$. Inspired by this, it is natural to ask whether the equality $$N\ominus A=\bar{\mathrm{span}\{u: u\mbox{is unitary in}N\ominus A\}^{\mathrm{SOT}}}$$ holds for $N$ a type $\mbox{II}^{}_{1}$ factor and $A$ a von Neumann subalgebra of $N$. In this paper, we give an affirmative answer to this question for the case $A$ a type I von Neumann algebra.
Advance in Pre-Clinical Pharmacokinetics of Paeoniflorin, a Major Monoterpene Glucoside from the Root of Paeonia lactiflora  [PDF]

Abstract: Paeoniflorin (PF) is one of the main bioactive components of total glucosides of paeony (TGP) extracted from the root of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. TGP exhibit various biological activities such as improvement in memory, hepatoprotection, antimutagenic properties and platelet aggregation inhibition. The aim of this paper is to review the pharmacokinetics (PK) of PF as a pure compound and in single or multiple herb(s) of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescriptions. The distribution of PF or PF in TCM fitted one or two compartmental model after oral administration or intravenous injection, respectively. However, PF has a low bioavailability (BA) in rabbit (7.24%) and rat (3.24%) after oral administration. The PK profiles and BA of PF were remarkably improved when co-administered with sinomenine or glycyrrhizin acid. The PK profiles and BA of PF in Radix Paeonia Rubra (RP-R) and Jing-zhi guan-xin were improved, but in co-administration of RP-R with Radix Angelicae Sinensis, the BA was significantly reduced. PK profiles and BA of PF in Shan yao gan-cao tang or Danggui-Shaoyao-San was either remarkably improved or not. However, neither the PK profiles nor the BA of PF in Radix paeonia alba, Huangqin-tang Si ni san or Tang-Min-Ling-Wan was improved. Metabolism in the liver did not play any role in the low oral BA of PF. The low BA was thus attributed to poor permeation due to low lipophilicity, P-glycoprotein mediated efflux, intestinal bacteria and hydrolytic degradation in the intestine by the intestinal brush border lactase phlorizin hydrolase (LPH) and certain esterases. These findings show the in vivo course of PF and provide information on the maximum biological actions of PF that may help traditional Chinese herbal medicinal practitioners.

Abstract: In recent years, the Ministry of Finance in China has successively formulated some fiscal policies and measures to stimulate technological innovation. With the scale of public expenditure increasing, government and the academic commonly focus on the issue that result of incentive to innovation. This paper firstly conducts an empirical test by using empirical data of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in order to find the relationship between public expenditure and innovation independently. Secondly the author estimates the optimal scale of R&D expenditure. Finally, the author proposes corresponding policy-suggestions according to the calculate results.
Potential Mechanism of Herb-Drug Interaction Mediated by Angelica dahurica: Inhibition on CYP3A Enzymes in Rats  [PDF]

Abstract: Angelica dahurica is commonly referred to as ‘Baizhi’ in China and has been noted for its therapeutic significance. The major active ingredients of Angelica dahurica is coumarin, which is reported as a kind of potent inhibitor of cytochrome P450 enzymes (CYP450s). The aim of this study was to investigate the inhibition of CYP3A enzymes by total coumarin extract (TCE) obtained from dried root of Angelica dahurica by using in situ single pass intestinal perfusion (SPIP) and in situ liver perfusion in rats. When midazolam (MDZ) which is a substrate of CYP3A co-perfused with TCE (198 μg/mL) from Baizhi in duodenum and ileum segments, the Peff of MDZ has increased significantly compared with the MDZ single perfused group (p < 0.01) (n = 6). However, there was no significant effect on Peff of MDZ when it co-perfused with 66 μg/mL of TCE from Baizhi in both segments (p > 0.05) (n = 6). During in situ liver perfusion study, the results demonstrated that, 3 days oral administration of TCE obtained from Baizhi could significantly reduce the elimination rate of MDZ in the perfusate (p < 0.05) (n = 3). This study revealed that TCE from Baizhi had potent inhibition on CYP3A enzymes, and the inhibitory effect was related to dose. Therefore, when Angelica dahurica extract co-administrated with drugs which are the substrates of CYP3A, much more attention should be paid rather than that of other CYP450 enzymes. These findings may facilitate in predicting possible herb-drug interactions (HDIs) when Angelica dahurica is used in combination with other drugs, and decrease the incidence of the CYP450-mediated HDIs.

Strong law of large numbers is a fundamental theory in probability and statistics. When the measure tool is nonadditive, this law is very different from additive case. In 2010 Chen investigated the strong law of large numbers under upper probabilityVby assumingVis continuous. This assumption is very strong. Upper probabilities may not be continuous. In this paper we prove the strong law of large numbers for an upper probability without the continuity assumption whereby random variables are quasi-continuous and the upper probability is generated by a weakly compact family of probabilities on a complete and separable metric sample space.

Abstract: With the accelerating process of modernization, the existing space of traditional culture is narrowed increasingly, which is the general trend of contemporary social economy and culture development. The Miao village in this thesis is unexceptionally affected by the modernization of outside world. For instance, tourism development has changed their traditional culture. However, for some reasons, the Miao village still maintains the primitive religions and burial customs such as tree worship and tree burial. Such precious traditional cultures as the Swing Festival, the village marriage custom and the characteristic costume and hair style, etc. are still seen in the village that is honored as the “living fossil” of the traditional culture of the Miao people. Abstract: Due to the lack of QoS (quality of service) guarantee in current Peer-to-Peer services routing network, it is difficult to apply Peer-to-Peer network to business successfully. Therefore, a service guarantee routing model is proposed in this paper, and an ant colony algorithm is designed for this routing model. Finally, the experimental analysis of the Peer-to-Peer services routing algorithm is presented. The experimental result shows the effectiveness of the service routing algorithm.

Abstract: Battery groups are widely used in production and life. Optimal charging can not only shorten the charge time, but also improve the performance and life of the battery pack. A constant current or constant voltage charging method is commonly used. This type of method cannot adjust the charge capacity in time according to the change of charging capacity of storage battery, and the charge performance is not high. This paper designs a fuzzy PID controller. In the case of variable load and interference, the battery group can still be charged by the optimal charging current. Through the simulation results, the fuzzy PID controller works well and verifies the feasibility of the charging controller.
